I decided to go with the hoop anyway and wait it out to see how it healed. Here's where the experience fell short for me. I arrived just five minutes late to my appointment, and after giving me the bad news, the piercer stepped outside, checked the time, and told me it was almost their lunch break and I'd have to come back in an hour. The way it was handled came across as a bit abrupt, and I felt a little unwelcomed. A bit more warmth or social awareness would have gone a long way toward making the visit feel better. So we went and grabbed happy hour, came back, and he swapped the hoop for me with barely any pain -- the actual work was quick and smooth. I understand that everybodies anatomy is different and it could cause a slight tilt on the piercing but it's been weeks since I got the piercing and looking at it now with no more swelling or redness it is almost ridiculous how off the piercing is. It's very obvious and disappointing how crooked it is. I even went home to my home piercer and even he left a comment saying that it was done very poorly. Loved the service and friendliness but unfortunately Im going to take out the piecing let it heal and then get it redone somewhere else. Yesterday I walked in and saw Vino and asked if he could help put my hoop nose ring back in. I had…read moreit pierced back in 2009, put a tiny gold hoop in 2013 and I'm not sure how it came out because this thing was in secure to the point I even had to put tape over it for surgeries. It was only out for one day but was starting to close from the inside. Vino was able to poke my ring back through. He even gave me tips on how to keep the opening from the skin on the inside of my nose so it doesn't grow around it when it heals again.
