During the session, I noticed quite a bit of shaking, which I assumed might just be the machine. Now that the tattoo is nearly healed, the lines appear dotted and blown out. Because it's on my hand, it's very noticeable. The artist was kind and professional, and I believe he does good work overall, but he wasn't the right fit for the style I was looking for. I came in looking for an upper cartilage replacement piece of jewelry for my 20+ year old piercing that I removed quite honestly because I was bored with what I had and wanted to go back to a hoop as well. Well, Clair was so helpful in showing me the options and I was thrilled when she mentioned that she could "install" the jewelry for an additional $10 which I jumped on since I have R.A. that largely affects my hands/dexterity. I got a nice titanium hoop at a very reasonable price which should last me quite some time. She also said if it turned out that the fit was wrong to get back in touch with her so she could make it right. I doubt I will need to do that but I appreciated that she stood by her products and handy work. She was also very knowledgeable about all of the different jewelry out there and really runs a nice shop. I had a cover up done today. I've had a Chinese symbol on my wrist for 16 years that I've never 'loved'... I've been toying with the idea of covering it with a muffin for my dad for years (since I can remember I've always called my dad the muffin man). UPDATE 2 MONTHS LATER My piercing has healed up with no problem what so ever. The people complaining on here about problems with their healing process most likely were not caring for it properly. Follow the directions and you, in theory, shouldn't have an issue. Eddie is awesome! I think people take his sarcasm as "rude". DONT BE SO SENSITIVE PEOPLE. I've been whining to my husband about wanting to get my nose pierced for a year now. Possibly 2 lol but kept being a whimp and never did. So we happened to be at parkway and I started whining about it. He basically said, "I'll pay for it if you do it. but if you don't I'll bully you for a long time about chickening out" lmao. So finally, with the motivation of not having to pay for it, we headed over. I was greeted by an older gentleman who informed me thoroughly of the after care of my piercing. I wanted to get my upper lobes redone. I had them pierced at Claire's for my birthday but the spacing was off on one of them so I took the studs out. I chose this place because it was close to me and the reviews were decent (a couple months ago when I last checked). I came around 11:30 but the piercing guy wasn't in yet. So my daughter and I went to have lunch. We came back around 12 and he still wasn't in, but was on the way. He got there probably 15 mins later. They took a copy of my license and I filled out paperwork. I sat down to get pierced and explained the issue I had with my previous piercing. Everything was good up to this point. He measured the spacing and put a dot where the piercing will be. I took a look at it in the mirror and was satisfied. Then he took a needle, pierced both my ears, put the earrings in and said have a nice day. I'm like... wait. I said "Did you choose my earrings for me?" He said they had standard earrings. I asked how long I was supposed to have these basic studs in. He said 2 months and then asked me if I wanted something else umm... yea. Not sure why that wasn't a question before everything was done. So I'm assuming she was the manager, she came back and she could see I was upset. I'm like I don't get why he just put these in and didn't ask if I wanted something else. So she said I could pick another set and he would put them in. I didn't have to pay extra for them. What would have been nice was better effort at taking care of the customer. I know this is a tattoo and piercing place. The kinda people that work here, and the kinda people that come in and out of here... maybe they're not trained or don't care about customer service. But I'm a novice. I have no tattoos. Nevertheless, it doesn't take much to explain procedures and in a nice voice. "We usually use these studs but you're welcome to pick out something else." He wasn't rude, more like cold. Life is hard these days for many people, but if you wanna keep customers and get referrals and build your business, good customer service wins every time. read more

Don't worry I'm also telling this story to everyone I know and anyone in the mall who asks. Stopped in here on a quick break from work to check out my nipple piercings that I got done at another shop back in OC a couple months ago. Wasn't sure if the piercings I got were internally or externally threaded so I decided to go here as the reviews are really good to see if they could check them out for me and if they weren't what I wanted I could swap them out. Walked in and Eddie came up to me and I asked him about pricing on jewelery, internally and externally threaded, and how much they charge to change out the jewelry. He helped me out and I voiced my concerns about how the piercings were healing. We went to the private room to have him look at them and be sure they were healing well. We determined that I already had internally threaded bars, I asked my questions, and he then replaced my bars. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about piercings, I'll give him that; although he took my bar out, put it on the open tray and then was about to put it directly back in, and I had to ask him to clean it, he just sprayed some solution on it and put it back in. I thanked him and as we finished up he said "wow, you have perfect boobs" and I must have sounded uncomfortable when I laughed and said thanks, because he then said he shouldn't have said that and apologized. I offered to pay him for his time even though I didn't swap jewelry. He refused and I left. This is someone who sees women's bodies on a regular basis and I was a little hesitant at first because he was a man, but then reassured myself this is his profession, and therefore is desexualized in a sense, like a doctor. If I could give 0 stars I would! I have come here for piercings before and everyone was chill so when I FINALLY decided to get my FIRST tattoo I wanted to go back. I checked the hours of operation for Thursdays online and everywhere said that they were open til 9PM. I got there shortly before 8PM. I knew I wouldn't probably get in this evening but I wanted to set up an appointment and get an estimate on the price so I would have enough cash for the work and a tip. I got there and the gate was down with a sign handwritten saying back in 25 minutes or call and a phone number. I decided to be patient and wait for someone to show up. By 20 after 8, I decided to call the number. A man on the phone said they were closed. Alllll the lights were still on and I mentioned the sign. To which he responded that the sign is always there. I asked why did it say back in 25 minutes if they were closed. He was like what do you want done? I mentioned a tattoo estimate and he said he couldn't give one over the phone. I told him that is why I drove down to ask in person. He said he wasnt aware of their hours of operation, which I find to be BS. He did say they open at 10am, when I asked h I'll me when they close tomorrow he said he didn't know and asked when I wanted to come in. I told him I wanted to come in in the evening and when were they open til, I think you get the jist of the ridiculousness of the conversation. I was very frustrated because every other shop I have been to with friend always has hours of operation. He told me to take my business elsewhere and that I was unf*cking believable. Nice way to treat a repeat customer asshole... and btw you must have had ANOTHER customer call and ask your hours because I don't drink nor do I imbibe in any other substances, Eddie so I would never ask asinine questions like that. Knowing it was you I spoke with and you making false statements just cost you a ton of clientele. I have sent many people your way for piercings but no more. If you are closed shut off the damn lights and pull in your sign. Wtf read more
