Another tough one Had bad experiences But also great ones I used to use Tavour all the time. Beers that you can't find anyplace else delivered to your door. Worked great my first ten or so deliveries. Then they switched delivery services in the Twin Cities. Had one delivery that froze and burst in transit when they kept telling me it was on its way long after the fact of the dead soldiers. Did manage to get a full refund but it was like prying teeth. My next experience after that one was a little bit better. The beer did arrive undamaged but was greatly delayed and they wouldn't let the front desk attendant at my building sign for it as the previous delivery service did and they would only make one attempt. Had to drive out to Roseville to pick it up. After that, gave it a rest for awhile. Just tried them again. New delivery service. Only slightly delayed. Did the math on this most recent shipment. Eight bucks with shipping for each 16 ounce can. Not a bad deal for stuff that you probably won't find anyplace else. Get the deliveries going like they did when I first started using them and easy five stars. read more

I will preface my review by saying that I have been a Tavour customer for about 5 years. When I first moved up to Seattle, I saw it advertised and I wanted to try it. Basically, they send you notifications of new beers, and you buy the ones you want. They add them to your "crate," which you can pickup or get shipped at the end of a certain period. Thankfully, since then, they have moved from Seattle to the Tukwila location which is right by my house. I love that their service is commitment free. I don't have to pay a monthly fee to be a part of it, and I can choose to purchase whatever beers appeal to me as they come out daily. They don't have any funky gimmicks where I have to buy a bundle and I'm obligated to be stuck with the beer that I potentially might not like. I've also attended some of their special events, including a fabulous doggy party they had a few years ago. Overall, the employees are very chill and friendly. I love the flexibility of being able to either subscribe to their daily beer emails, or downloading the app and getting the new beer notifications on there. I can buy as I go, and I can rate and review the beers as I try them. Overall it's a very impressive business model that guarantees that I will be a customer for as long as they're around. read more

Worst Customer Service! I had a shipment get lost nearly a month ago. My emails to customer service get a reply that they will follow-up and get back to me. The rpobelm is they never get back to me. A customer service rep, Amy, seems to respond fairly quickly to each of my emails (now 4) that she will follow-up, but then I never hear back. She even told me in one response that she was escalating to a manager and the manager would reach out by end of day. Never heard a peep. Tavour is a mailing service in which you can download the app and then select craft beer, mead, cider and seltzer from craft breweries and other adult beverage businesses from all over the country and on occasion in a different country. When the pandemic was just starting up and we were in lockdown and waves of variants of covid-19 kept a lot of businesses closed this mailing service kept me trying out breweries I haven't tried before which was a beloved past time before the pandemic arrived. Tavour ships the beer that you purchased about once a month but you can alter the arrival time too. Keep in mind you need to live in a state where shipping alcoholic beverages in the mail is permitted otherwise the service can't reach it's full potential. Luckily Washington state allows this and an extra bonus is that Tavour is located in Washington state and just up I-5 in Tukwila which is in the same metro area (Seattle metro) that I am in so I get shipments from Tavour very quickly. There are always new posts for new beer daily and I discovered quite a few new favorites as far as breweries go when the pandemic was raging. Further poking and investigating on some of those featured brewery's websites have revealed promising online shops in which I can stock up on t shirt swag so that too was a fine extra as Tavour revealed to me breweries I never knew about AND ones I had on my "to try" list that I have been wanting to try. During the pandemic I stocked up very nicely each month and since one can feel safe to explore again I don't buy as much but still get a small shipment of cans of bottles of beer once a month. Old/new/pandemic habits die hard even despite businesses being open again but it never occurred to me to get beer in the mail prior to lockdown but I still feel Tavour is a good service and has good variety for breweries that may be in locations across the country in which the likelihood of visiting that location is unlikely. read more

Great... Until its not!!! Had a damaged package, sent back to Tavour, got email saying it was my fault it was unable to be shipped to my address?!?! Tried calling, no phone numbers work! Emailed support, getting canned replies that are ZERO help! Finally being shipped back to me, less the damaged beer, but get a text from USPS that do to box damage, they can not read address?!?!?! At this point I will NEVER use this again as their customer support process is a complete JOKE!!! read more

If you like beer, this service is totally worth it! It gives you access to beer that you might otherwise have no clue exists. The prices can be a bit steep but in the end I am sure the overhead is pretty big. Download the app and start browsing. I really like the fact that you can by as much or little as you like and they will keep the beer for you until you are ready to take delivery. Of course, if you live here in Puget Sound, you can just go pick it up, but they will certainly ship it to you. In theory the service they offer is great, but unfortunately their company employs nothing but morons. I had multiple bad experiences with Tavour and finally decided to give my business to a different company. Tavour screwed up my first order and did nothing to fix it. On my last order they shipped two boxes, one with ten cans and the second box contained 22 cans and 7 bottles. The second box never arrived as it ended up getting smashed by the weight of the cans and the poor decision to include 7 glass bottles in one box. I gave a DETAILED list of the beers I did receive and they still managed to screw up my refund several times. I spent over $500 on that order and in the end I never got refunded for all the beers that never made it. They are a TERRIBLE company to work with. Their shipping department is run by a moron and their accounting department is clueless. I'm glad I found a better service to work with. What a trash company Tavour is! read more

I have ordered a lot of beer through Tavour, although I believe they have an interesting business model, I don't believe the value is worth it for what you are purchasing. Almost anytime I put a crate together for a case of beer (24 cans), it is easily over $125+. Yes they have some interesting beers, but the prices are outrageous, some are almost obscene. I truly believe that some of the beers they carry are beers that the brewery cannot sell, or might be an experimental brew that they need to get rid of. My buddy & I have poured out more than a few beers that we tried to see how they taste, only to be disappointed, and out $15 to $25 for that purchase. I have stopped ordering from Tavour because I know I can get great beer locally for a decent value, and I am not trying something blind with the hopes that it will taste good. I also believe that they could offer a better value if their warehouse space wasn't far larger than they need for storage, I have been there, and I am convinced that their prices are a reflection of their overhead. Unbelievably terrible and unprofessional experience with Tavour this past month. Super unfortunate because they're the only way for me to get beer that I enjoy (BBA) out to my home in Colorado. I made a crate of beer, close to $400, filled with amazing Fremont and RevBrew favorites, only to wait and wait and wait and wait. Finally, I contacted Tavour (via email) to see what was taking them longer than expected to ship the beer - I assumed in was pandemic related. They told me that they had changed their shipping carrier to one that "unfortunately doesn't ship to your zip code". I live in southern Denver...which makes it very hard for me to believe that they would change to a carrier that doesn't ship to Denver. I gave them other options for zip codes to ship (my parents house in Loveland, a friend in Fort Collins, and my work in Colorado Springs) - and I got the same response of "unfortunately we don't ship to that zip code either". Tavour - why would you pick a carrier that doesn't ship to southern Denver, Loveland, Fort Collins, or Colorado Springs??? This is crazy to me. Again - I had to contact Tavour to figure this out after they had busted their shipping deadline by almost a week (which I would have been okay with secondary to pandemic confusion). Meanwhile, I'm left during the holiday season without beer, which was all going to be Christmas presents for my family and friends that are coming to visit me from out of town. Talk about a let down. Tavour did end up refunding the money but I'm very upset with 1) how this situation unfolded; 2) the lack of communication between Tavour and their costumers; and 3) their "last minute" decision to change shipping carriers around the holidays to a carrier that doesn't ship to major cities in Colorado.
