However, after more than four months had passed, there were no sponsorships or tickets sold and for that reason, I had to cancel the event, which was only two and a half months away. Here were two assurances in her contract: Create impactful promotional content Assist in sponsorship level creations & materials While I can't prove if the promotional content was impactful, it certainly didn't appear so given there were no sponsorships or tickets sold. And while she did create sponsorship materials, they clearly weren't helpful either in terms of selling tickets or securing sponsors. She also said that she had previously hosted a fundraiser for the charity I was looking to raise money for, so I believed her claim that she could secure sponsors and sell tickets without a problem. When I asked why there were no sponsorships or tickets sold upon cancelling the event, she said the market was unusually bad. If that was the case, I don't see how she couldn't have known this information merely four months earlier when we agreed to work together. Is it reasonable to think that the market changed so drastically so quickly? And why didn't she tell me the market was bad sooner before she started spending more time? She could have offered me the option of requesting a refund and suggested I cancel the event some time sooner. I should also note she did not create promotional materials until 4/5/24 and did not share a task list until 4/6/24. I then waited until 5/11/24 and saw that she hadn't contacted anyone on the list yet, so I sent over 100 e-mails over the next week, but hardly received any interest. The event was scheduled for 9/16/24, and since we didn't have any sponsorships or tickets sold, I decided to cancel the event on 6/27/24. I know people don't always buy tickets early, but the fact that not a single ticket was sold made no sense. At the very least, given that she materially misrepresented what she could offer, I would think Nicole would have offered a full or partial refund or at least a credit if I agreed to work with her again, but she made no such offer. I initially communicated all of this information through the Better Business Bureau, who reached out to Nicole multiples times, but Nicole did not respond to any of their requests. If she did, then I wouldn't have written this review.

I don't even want to think about how things would have gone without her. From our first phone consultation I knew she would be perfect. She was so helpful and detailed without being overbearing like so many other seemed to be. As soon as we chose her, Courtney sent us this spreadsheet that organizes EVERYTHING. Every little detail gets accounted for in this thing, including a complete timeline, info for all the vendors, and everyone else involved. She brought up all these different details and moving parts that I never would have thought about and planned for. When the wedding got closer (like 1.5 months away) we met up and she also became my therapist! The wedding stress was REAL. We stayed in close contact from then until the wedding week, with her helping me coordinate all the little details and giving me advice on how to make everything as easy as possible. She also became the point of contact for all my vendors so I did not have to worry about anything or talk to anyone that final week. When it came to the day before, Courtney came to our rehearsal and made sure everything was organized and good to go, meeting all the parents, grandparents, wedding party, etc and letting everyone know that she was the point of contact for everything. On the wedding day she was a SAINT. She came to our hotel where all the gals got ready, steamed our dresses, coordinated delivery of flowers, kept us on schedule, etc. She also was going to to our reception venue to help set everything up! I gave her instructions of how everything should be set up (a lot of it I brought in myself so the venue doesn't set it up) and it looked so amazing beyond everything I had pictured. Somehow between the hours of her helping us get ready, getting us to the church, and the ceremony she managed to put together dozens of floral arrangements, set up signs, and light hundreds of candles. She helped manage everything throughout the night, making sure I was able to eat (she had saved a whole tray of appetizers for the wedding party since we came later than everyone else from photos), she adjusted our timeline when I needed to make updates, she set up all of our favors (100 of them!) while everyone was eating, and she was basically just a flawless angel there to save the day. I did not have one hiccup or issue with the wedding (that I know of!) because Courtney handled and took care of any issue. She was the best decision ever and I can't thank her enough. Todd worked with that perfectly, providing a seamless sound system for both areas, along with a mic/stand for our vows and headset mic for the officiant. We had not had a chance to meet Todd before that but once we arrived, he immediately put us at ease. He was already set up, dressed well, and greeted us in a warm, professional manner. He guided us through every moment of the night, from announcements to the first dances and cake cutting. It was a huge relief for the day. One of our biggest fears was that people may not dance much, especially with guests from different backgrounds. But Todd was exceptional at reading the room and getting the party started. I loved that all the flowers were grown locally and didn't have the huge environmental footprint of flowers that are flown in from warmer climates. Because this is a local business, the process for ordering was less formulaic than it is at other florists. Instead of filling out an online form and picking from a few arrangement options, I emailed and talked with Cornelia directly, shared my inspiration pictures, and trusted her team of professionals to do an amazing job (which they absolutely did!). Thoughtful details like having the boutonnieres use magnetic fasteners and having the corsages on beautiful diamantine bracelets that were easy to take on and off made everything seamless. Even when I made a last minute addition of ten centerpieces two weeks before the wedding, the team was super accommodating and everything turned out beautifully!
