Every item I purchased from there I have received multiple compliments from and are sure to become family heirlooms. I stopped in again today just wanting to see what it was like when not in full Christmas mode. Same friendly, helpful staff. Still super cute with lots of tempting decor items. Wide range of price points... something for everyone. They have a few pieces of repurposed furniture that has been redone in a shabby chic fashion using chalk paint. They also sell the full line of chalk paint... which I will be back to purchase once I figure out what direction I was to take my repurposing items in. Today half the store was closed as it will become their dedicated Christmas section. Come back Nov 7th and be the first to browse the new merchandise! You will find me adding to our Christmas collection. They are one of the best Christmas merchandisers in Central Ohio, in my opinion. Worth the trip in!!! Buy local! It is scraggly but it is living. I am hoping warm weather will help. We call it Captain and went to Dill's hoping to find it a Tennille. Alas no chenille plants. Nor did I find any African Daisy's. Plenty of beautiful, ordinary, hanging baskets but if I want ordinary, then I'm heading to the Amish auction. It is a $$$ place which is bad for me. I usually kill plants, quickly. Still the place is full of plants with just about anything else you could want, except a chenille plant. One negative, not in their control, you must cross a VERY VERY BUSY 33. Like there are no openings and you have to gun it and cross the road in halves. Leaving, I refused to reverse myself and cross 33 so I just turned left on this small road and let the GPS do its thing. I think Dill's is worth a look if you are in the area. It is a little too pricey for black thumb me and I don't like crossing busy 33.

We left today with a gorgeous floor lamp, a crystal candy holder, a stunning tea pot plus teacup and the owner gave my 16 month old son a dancing duck toy once owned by her son! Needless to say we plan several visits back (: I definitely need to purchase some of those tea cups!

Yup, I grew up in the country. OK, I still live in the country, but its close enough to the city…read morethat I don't feel like I'm out in the boondocks but still far enough away that waking up with deer in the backyard isn't too surprising. That's what happened yesterday. Amongst all the snow, 3 young deer had found a spot underneath a tree where they could lay down for a bit and relax, protected from the wind while the snow was coming down all around them. I felt bad for them. With all the grass covered with snow and no leaves on the trees it had to be tough finding something to eat...either that or they were going to be eating all the bark off of the trees. Nope. There had to be something we could do to help. Enter Faler. Many people wouldn't know where to find a feed store if they needed to, but luckily after 10 years in 4-H I knew exactly where it was! I was originally going to get some alfalfa for them to graze on but the person working there suggested some cracked corn instead. I was able to buy a 50 pound bag of cracked corn for about $7 which is a good deal considering that a 4 pound bag of cracked corn at a pet store runs around $2 (to get 50 pounds that way it would cost $25!). I've also gotten rabbit finishing food (special food that is better nutritionally than the kind you get in the pet store) and cat food all in 50 pound bags which says you a lot of money and trips to the grocery store when you have hungry animals! They will also order in food if you have a special request and give them enough time to get it shipped in. So if you even find yourself in need of 50 pounds of animal feed, this is the place to go!

Both times I stopped in the service was friendly, there was a bit of a wait checking out but the line continued to move. They have a large variety of goods as mentioned above, and definitely something for everyone! Price ranges, and quality is great! And they have amazing prices compared to other thrift stores. I ended up purchasing 4 things - a dresser, two chairs, and a coat 'tree'. An employee walks with you, marks what you want to buy, then checks you out. They will then help you load big pieces. Shout out to Seth & Wayne for being an amazing help to us on a busy weekend.

Over the years I've gotten amazing items and very good prices. But lately, I don't know who's…read morepricing items, but their costs have gone WAY up ($100 for a small, used, unlit Christmas tree?) and many collectible items are as expensive or more expensive than they are on EBay. Identical items with sometimes have a $25 price difference (the Kincade villages, some china etc). I don't think it's worth going to that part of Morse road unless they fix the price problem.
