First time here and it was a great time! We drove an hour away and debated going here or going to Brownstone but we chose here and were not disappointed. I have been going here for breakfast and lunch since they opened. I have brought several friends with me who were all impressed with how delicious the food was. I've even been known to go alone LOL My favorite breakfasts are the beansie omelette (black beans, spinach and cheese) with salsa and home fries. I also enjoy Taylor Benedict which is obviously eggs benedict. Absolutely delicious. Their burgers are to die for. They open at 8AM and close at 3PM. I'll never go back. My girlfriend went online to purchase one $50 gift certificate for Taylor Sams. Somewhere long the line she ended up with 4 -$50 gift certificates at a total cost of $200. We called and explained what had happened and the owner said she would call the company handling the gift cards. After hearing no results I call the gift card company myself. They stated have the manager call us and we will refund the difference. After speaking with the manager in person, the manager abruptly stated the gift card company would not do it. I called the card company again, and they said they would issue the credit if the manager called. Apparently the manager lied. Last week we used our last $50 gift card last week and vowed to never go back. read more

It's been a while since we came to this place. The last time we were here, they were located at another spot. We found out they've been at this new location for the last 2 years! We were immediately seated after arriving. The restaurant is large and we can tell they really love their plants! :). The walls were adorned with "bowled" green plants where we were sitting. The air exhaust on the ceiling also has vine-like green plants draped over it. The area near the front of the restaurant also has frying pans painted onto the wall. Kayla was our server. Hubs ordered the Crabby Benny, which is Old Bay lump crab cakes that's topped with poached eggs and smothered in hollandaise sauce over English muffins and home fries. He thought the hollandaise sauce over the crab cake was awesome and liked it. He had a hard time deciding between the I Love Thanksgiving and Crabby Benny. The waitress suggested Crabby Benny because it's a special and it's not always on the menu. Glad we took her suggestion! Daughter had Paco's breakfast with a side of avocado and sour cream. The breakfast has homemade crispy empanadas stuffed with seasoned ground beef and farm fresh eggs. It's also topped with queso fresco, corn, and black bean salsa served with home fries and fresh salsa on the side. We misread the menu and thought that the eggs were supposed to come as a side or on top of the empanadas. But we were told that the eggs were inside the empanadas. We didn't really see it. Daughter liked it a lot, but wished that the eggs were more visible because she didn't really taste the eggs. The corn in the dish was super delicious and she thought that her empanadas could use a bit more pizzazz, so she dipped it into the salsa. She loved the avocado, but she forgot the sour cream was there! :). The sour cream cost $1 and avocado cost $2.29 extra. She couldn't finish her entree and sour cream so she brought it back. Lastly, I had the Bruiser, which is dry rubbed charbroiled burger topped with gorgonzola, arugula and tomato. I asked if they cooked burgers to order and was told yes. So, I ordered it rare and the fries well done. The fries were nice and well done but the burger was more of a medium. That was a bit of a disappointment. In the past, Hubs ordered it rare and it came out mooing. It was just perfect. Hubs liked the old location better. I also liked the old location more in that there was more parking because they had their own lot. The new location is in a strip mall and shares the parking lot with other businesses. Parking lot and spaces feel a little tighter. Service was quick and friendly. I was surprised how fast the food came after we ordered. Not complaining about that! Will definitely return to try other items on the menu! read more

I have to commend the staff here for being so wonderful. I came in with my cousin and her two small kids yesterday. The baby was having a meltdown the minute we walked in and the staff was so accommodating and understanding bringing him toys etc, it was so nice. They really made us feel good in an uncomfortable situation. I had the avocado toast and the path train iced latte. And my cousin had a bowl with rice and chicken and the London fog latte. Solid diner en route to Atlantic City from New York City. Great portions, good food, and friendly staff. Customer service was great, fast, and staff is very thoughtful. They have flexible payment options and my group and I were able to pay and tip from our phones! Personally, I ordered the Avocado Toast which was a 7/10 for me. Not bad by any means, but also not amazing. Would have preferred more avocado, and more seasoning. But that's just me being picky. All of us cleaned our plates for the most part. Only rating breakfast here and unfortunately like the many other spots at the Jersey shore doing breakfast they do a decent job, but nothing to write home about so to speak. After several visits over the past couple of years I would give TS's a solid A-OK and that is not bad at all. So if you are in the neighborhood stop in and give them a try as your mileage may vary and who knows you may love the place. Decent food, efficient service and a big open space are their attributes and the fact that they have been around for awhile now is a plus. read more
