First time here. Busy Saturday morning, seated the 2 of us within 10 min. My GF ordered a Chai Latte w/caramel whipped cream and a breakfast special, Asparagus, mushroom, feta cheese omelette. I had the original Taylor (Pork roll, eggs and cheese on a roll) & Coffee. Every thing was very good, great service (Dan). Read good reviews about TS and was out with my boss and customers last month and suggested we stop in. I ordered eggs benedict... The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce was probably the best I have had in many years!! My boss ordered a club sandwich and it was served with a pile (that means a lot) of fries. It was gigantic and it looked really delicious, my boss loved it! (points for me) The customers ordered the soup of the day and said it was fabulous. The one guy eats to live so let's skip him altogether... The other had a tuna salad sandwich (What's the scoop) that was stacked high with tuna that he really loved. Oh yeah... The coffee was fantastic, too! My customers were happy that I introduced them to a great place so close to their office! Good food, good mood! I ate at Taylor Sam's today with my wife and son. Looking at the place you wouldn't expect much. Inside you'll find a warm welcome and a great cafe. I started with the Italian Wedding soup. It was as good as grandma used to make. My son had the chicken and waffles. He finished everything and said it was really good. My wife had the wild hog, and I had the Italian chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious. I also tried the chi tea. It was also tasty. The service was also very friendly. This was my first time there, and it won't be my last. read more

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with the hostess. I went here a few months ago to meet a friend for lunch. We ordered our food, it was good, server was OK, but the hostess came to our table, while I still had half of a BLT sandwich left and she said we had to leave because we were there already for an hour and a half. I had no idea I was being clocked and it was very awkward. There was no line, no one waiting for a table. It was so strange and if I wanted to rush through my meal, I would have gone to McDonald's or just stayed home. I would not be comfortable going back here. read more

I have only given Taylor Sam's one try so far. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I went on a weekday around 11:30 and it was decently crowded. They have an extensive menu with some interesting options- fare you wouldn't see at a "regular" diner plus the basics. I ordered the hamburger with pork roll. Unfortunately, the burger was pretty raw & the pork roll the opposite--I removed it from the burger to eat instead of the meat & I couldn't get a knife through it. The fries were very good, but I can see how a kid may not care for them. Cooked pretty well-done w/sea salt. I liked them, though. I will probably give this place another chance as everyone has off days. read more

My family and I found this place shortly after moving to Brick a couple years ago. We loved it so much, we would go almost every Saturday after our son's flag football games. He is a VERY picky eater, and always ordered the same specific meal after game. We almost always had the same waiter, Dan. He got to know us and would remember our son's exact order after only like two visits to the restaurant, which I thought was impressive and really nice! They have so many interesting dishes, as well as classic favorites. I don't think we have ever left unsatisfied. We actually haven't eaten from here much since quarantine, but I did do a pick-up order recently, and it was just as delicious (if not BETTER!) than I remembered! Two of my favorite dishes are "Paco's Breakfast" (empanadas with ground beef and scrambled eggs, comes with black bean and corn salsa and homefries - JUST TRUST ME!) and the "Kentucky Express" (chicken and waffles with a spicy maple sauce). Friendliest staff that have worked there a long time, one waiter actually knows what drink i always order (spiced chai latte) which they always make correctly. I also usually get the Bella or Denver line omelette. It always is consistently amazing made the same everytime and always fresh. Usually busy but rarely a wait of more than 10 minutes the staff moves efficiently always you NEVER see anyone slack or unclean. Also the prices are great for the quality of food. read more

I had really high expectations for this place. Service was quick and efficient (I did an online order). I ordered a special which was a banana bread french toast. It was good, but nothing spectacular. I also ordered the 2+2=4 (Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Side of Bacon, Side of Sausage, and Eggs). I split some of the sides with my son. The bacon was bland and had no flavor. Also ordered an Iced Mocha Coffee. It also had no flavor. Management is allowing, if not encouraging employees to wear faux masks, placing patrons at risk. Majority of waitresses were wearing studded masks with significant gaps: mouth was fully visible. Upon confrontation, referred to it as not a mask but a "face covering", stated management did not require masks?!? read more

I am a frequent flyer at Taylor Sams. Before the pandemic/quarantine, my daughters and I ate there often for breakfast or lunch. The restaurant was always perfect. Perfect food, service, cleanliness, coffee, and lattes. Now, with the outside dining only, we have been there a couple times. The outside was just as amazing as the inside dining. I'll start with, when asked for the salt and pepper were given it as takeout packets, ketchup in a little metal cup on your plate, the coffee and drink cups were paper and plastic. Now cleanliness, menus were wiped with sanitize spray after each use, chairs were sprayed with sanitizer after each use, and tables were wiped clean again with sanitizer. The staff was as friendly as ever and service great! If you are looking for a clean place with delicious food this IS the place for you. I highly recommend it!! read more

This place is a gem! I was out in Brick by myself and wanted some good comfort food. I found Taylor Sams on Yelp. The reviews were really good and the menu looked interesting. It's a breakfast/lunch place, which was perfect. I liked it the moment I walked in. I liked the way it was decorated, not overdone, but homey. The wait staff very welcoming. The customers even seemed nice and down-to-earth. There were lots of breakfast choices. I almost ordered Eggs Benedict (I forget the cute name they used. I got Hashtag Delicious. It was homemade corned beef hash with home fries and eggs. For a simple meal it was really good. The corned beef was delicious. I will be going here again and next time I will try a lunch. Taylor Sam's in Brick is our go to spot for great lunch and breakfast. We order from them at least twice a week. Ryan always provides top notch service. Very cute place, I will definitely will be going again. Yesterday I went with my daughter she got a Reuben and said it was the best Reuben she had ever had their hand cut french fries were also yummy. I got the I love Thanksgiving sandwich, it was amazing!!!! She also got one of their fancy coffees it was almost too pretty to drink I forget what it was called it was a hazelnut espresso with a big old pile of whip cream and caramel drizzle over the top.
