    Steak and Eggs
    Alaleh P.

We cane here for a Saturday brunch to celebrate our friend's birthday and the restaurant was very accommodating. It's a nice place for gatherings and events. Staff are friendly and Sam, our server was very attentive. We ordered "Steak and Eggs", "Smoked Salmon Benedict" and "Maple Bacon Benedict". The food was tasty and served warm. Unfortunately I left my "pill case" on the table and it was thrown out with the garbage at the time of cleaning the table. When I called to ask about it later in the day, they mentioned they hadn't found it!

We went this past Saturday to Taylor's Landing for lunch/brunch It was to celebrant my mom's birthday We had reservations making it fairly easy to get seated It was pretty quiet for a Saturday during lunch which was good with us Wasn't too noisy in the restaurant either making it easy to talk amongst ourselves For brunch I along with my mom ordered the chicken and waffles It was a good dish Not too heavy on the syrup and enjoyed the bacon gravy on it which gave it an even savoury flavour My wife had the beet salad with chicken and she thoroughly enjoyed it My sis had the carbonara pasta and my brother in-law had the breakfast skillet which had a mighty portion of protein and starch My niece had the mini sliders from the kid's menu My dad had the landing breakfast which has a healthy portion of breakfast goodies from meats to toast Given it was my moms birthday she got a complimentary dessert being the sticky toffee pudding Quite rich of a dessert I must say Our server was super friendly and attentive Overall we enjoyed the afternoon and would definitely come back again

I went last weekend to Taylor's Landing at the Shoppes on Don Mills We went there for brunch/lunch to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday We had booked reservations Seemed there wasn't too much of a need as the restaurant was quiet and not too busy for a Saturday at lunchtime I ordered their beet salad with chicken It was delicious and I really enjoyed it My husband had the chicken and waffles from the brunch menu and he really liked it My brother-in-law had the breakfast skillet and it was a mountain of good breakfast eats The service was great Our server was very helpful and I told him of the birthday celebration and he brought out a sticky toffee pudding for the birthday girl which was free Overall a great experience and would definitely go again

Chicken Milanese with vodka-sauced spaghetti and some pesto

Is it mostly just a higher-end pub? Yes, but our server Kayden was friendly, attentive and helpful, and our food and drinks were good. Our Korean cauliflower was delicious. My Chicken Milan was nice, and the pasta a la vodka sauce that came with it was even better. My wife enjoyed her turkey burger, and her drinks.

Out of all the nearby restaurants, this was the quietest and the only one without a waiting list on a Sunday night. Taylor's landing is located inside Cf Don Mills. We ordered nachos to share, the ravioli dish, pizza, burgers, the vegetarian burger. The food was not as good as Kelly's landing downtown. The ravioli tasted really weird, we did not eat it. The gnocchi was good but too rich. Service was good. The restaurant is well maintained and clean.

    Raspberry sorbet from Summerlicious menu

I tried this place for Summerlicious with a friend this past weekend and honestly it was probably a 3.5 for us. I rounded up to 4 because the service was really quite decent. First - getting here to from parking is easy. Lots of parking at CF Don Mills. It was a beautiful day so a very nice day to be out on the patio. For the 3 course lunch, I ordered the Truffle Crostini for the appy. It was decent - with large sized pieces of mushroom on a well toasted piece of bread. Was sort of average. For the main, I had the vegetarian ravioli. It looked quite good - cheese stuffing and plenty of veg on top. The pasta is properly Al dente. Nothing overly amazing though. For dessert, I had the raspberry sorbet. It was a wee bit too sweet for me but still a nice end to the meal. My friend had gotten a mussels dish off the regular menu. It came out super cold so we unfortunately had to send it back. They were very good about replacing it and also did not charge her for it. The patio was beautiful with some flowers along the edges. It wasn't overly busy so it was a very nice hang out. They're on OpenTable so making reservations was super easy!

    Dragonfruit pisco sour

Great for drinks with the gals! Arrived shortly after dinner time, around 8PM to grab some drinks with friends and the place was packed! We were a party of 3, weren't going to be ordering food so the hostess told s we can try to snag a seat by the bar on our own if we found space. Not a problem, we went to the bar and luckily found a spot. Had to grab our own high top chairs though. We were approached by the bar staff shortly after seating, they were friendly and took our orders. Cocktails list all sounded so delicious with many options to choose from. I opted for the dragon fruit pisco sour after seeing another person drinking it since it was such a beautiful bright pink colour. It's a miguel torres el gobernador pisco, with house made dragon fruit syrup, lemon juice, egg whites, guava juice and dehydrated dragon fruit. Highly recommend this drink. Sweet and sour to the taste, beautiful to look at and the perfect amount of alcohol, 1.5oz to be exact! Had a great time here catching up with friends and having some drinks. Can't wait to be back for that dragon fruit pisco sour again!

Had a great lunch here. This is an add on to a previous review. The food is great. They have an international menu. Burgers to Tuna Poke Bowl to Steak Frites to Salads, Tacos, and more. Can recommend the Peruvian Salad, Mussels appetizer and Tuna poke bowl from a previous visit. This time we had the Chicken Asada and Salmon with Quinoa. The food is fresh and flavorful. Note - service may be a bit slow, but the staff are really trying and everyone pitches in. This is a problem a lot of places post Covid. Do recommend you try this place out though. There is a parking garage with free parking.

    Calamari
    Cherrie T.

We came here for a quick drink and snacks on a Thursday before we headed off to the next venue. There was live music, and the service was friendly. Calamari was not bad, and my coworkers were raving about their sweet potato fries! We asked if the restaurant had a corkage free since we brought our own bottles of wine, and the manager said they don't allow outside bottles/drinks. So we ordered a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy cabernet sauvignon, and it was nice.

I don't know if we just get lucky or know what to order but everytime we're here, we always have an amazing experience so I'm surprised this place isn't as busy as other restaurants or the reviews don't reflect it. Our server was awesome, he reminded me of those servers in all inclusive resorts that have amazing customer service that you want to tip huge. He was very polite, enthusiastic, humorous and attended to our needs perfectly. We ordered Calamari, Landing Salad, Wings, Nachos (not pictured above) and beers. The landing salad is my favourite and it was $12! Well dressed and love the garnishes and toppings that it comes with, compliments each other very well. Very fresh and a good compliment to all the fried food. The calamari and the chimichurri sauce was also YUM. Exactly how I like my calamari when ordering outside and surprised with the portions they gave compared to other restaurants. The wings. The dry rub caught me by surprise. It was really good and I'm usually a saucy kind of gal but that one hit the spot. Though I would suggest asking for ranch or something because the sauce it comes with tasted just like mayo and I wasn't a fan. You can't really mess up wings otherwise so it's always a good appy. Nachos! HUGE, super filling and stacked to the top with guacamole! I love the chips, fried corn tortillas and super crispy. Just how I like it. This is easily shareable and super super filling so beware of ordering mains after as it gets filling. The patio ambiance is super nice as it's in the core of Shops at Don Mills and it has a cover on top with aesthetic lights. The sun and a nice breeze, easily a great summer spot to enjoy drinks and food :)

    Chicken Asado
    Francisco Q.

I tried this place a few days ago with a friend visiting. I went late afternoon so the place was slow. The staff were friendly and helped out right away. The waiter was great at making recommendations. I tried the Chicken Asado and enjoyed it very much. It was light and fresh. My friend had the Pistachio Gnocchi and also enjoyed it. Overall I would come back here if I was in the Don Mills area.

    Blueberry No-Hito and Sapporo

This is another one of the restaurants in the "Landing" family. It's located in a prime location in Shops at Don Mills with a big patio. It seemed to be a little less busy than the surrounding other restaurants so we headed in. We were able to get seated right away around 8pm on a Friday night. We were seated at a high top. This was the most uncomfortable seating I have ever encountered at a restaurant. The only other more uncomfortable seats I had were when we had NO seats after walking around Disneyland for a cumulative 20 hours of 2 days and having to stand at a bar. Not sure I can stress how awful the seating was. I'm a pretty normal proportioned person but the stools are a really awkward height. Too low for the table so your shoulders are significantly raised when you're resting your arms on the table. The foot rest on the stool is also positioned poorly so I could only really get my tippy toes on there so I was just dangling. They're a modern design so the weird legs cross over each other making a cross that's a lot higher up and I was able to get my legs on this but with the effect of looking like a frog. Next complaint, I went to wash up before dinner and saw one of the waitresses come out of the stall and walk directly out without handwashing. I looked around to see if there were any signs about employee handwashing, of which there were none. She wasn't my waitress but doesn't really instill confidence. Last complaint - we were kind of held hostage after our meal. We wanted to get out of there ASAP since it was super uncomfortable sitting there but we couldn't find our waitress forever. Then when we finally had flagged her down for the bill she vanished again. One good thing is that in my bid to opt for healthy meals, their Seared Tuna Salad was actually pretty tasty. There was a lot of tuna and it was all seasoned well and seared perfectly. The toppings on the salad weren't super exciting but that kind of comes with the salad territory.

Initial seating arrangements were a disaster, found ourselves at 2 dirty tables, floor, seats, all of it. Then everything was uphill from there. Found the staff super chill and good vibes. Tried three dishes, all of them vegetarian. The cauliflower was amazing, just enough flavour and sauce with the peanuts to balance out the spiciness. Koodos to the chef for the pistachi gnocchi. I'm not big on gnocchi but the sauce had an amazing flavour combination of thick hearty creamy but light and tasty. Lastly, the crispy tofu bowl held the 'clean' title as you could eat this all day and everyday and be thankful for good food.

A couple Saturdays ago, I was running a few errands. Once I was done, I felt like visiting a diner for lunch. I did a search and found Poached Dreams Diner in Aurora. I didn't mind driving up from Markham to check it out. It was straightforward getting here. I parked in the parking lot and walked in from what looked like the back of the diner. There's also a front door with a patio that faces Wellington Street East. I was immediately greeted by a young, enthusiast woman. I let her know that I needed a table for one. She got me to a comfortable booth by the window. The catch is that you have to watch your step to get to your seat. It's a treat when I have breakfast out. I thought that I'd be getting french toast. Well, all that changed when I saw a heading for comfort foods on the menu. Nothing makes me happier than seeing open-faced sandwiches on a menu. It was probably during my days living in Winnipeg that I fell in love with such sandwiches and at least a side. New goal: come here and have every open-faced sandwich on the menu. I got cold water to start. It was refreshing and much needed after running errands. I ordered these items for my meal: - Diet Coke (2) - Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggies My Diet Coke came with a glass with ice. I loved it. I wish the can was larger! I needed a second can for dessert. I loved my hot turkey sandwich. There was a generous amount of sliced turkey smothered in sauce over a slice of white bread. I got to choose my starch. I went with mashed potatoes. There was enough gravy over the turkey that I dunked my spoonfuls of mashed potatoes into it. I loved the steamed veggies. They were perfectly cooked. They also went into the gravy. The meal was delicious. I'd order it again. I felt like dessert. I asked if there was any. Baklava with pistachios. I said yes. I thought that it would be a square or rectangle. Nope. I got a roll. Cool! It was perfect. It had the right amount of honey. It was crispy and yummy. So good! I paid my bill at the table. I tipped and then tapped my credit card. I elected to have the receipt texted to my phone, which also signed me up for its points program. Yay! I learned that this diner has been open since June 2025. I'm always late to any party because I seem to live under a rock or in a cave. I'm glad that I visited this eatery. Great food. Great service. Great! I used the washroom before I left. The women's washroom was clean and had a full-length mirror. This eatery is huge. It looks like there's a cafe for those grabbing coffee and maybe a snack before leaving. I look forward to returning for more good eats and drinks. (148)

Somehow we didn't get the hype memo, as our order was far from a grand one. I'm glad the business is doing well so I'm sharing an honest opinion of the fried chicken and shrimp sandwich. The staff was surprised to have business on a weekend afternoon, and just sat under the cash register. Within our order, the fried shrimp sandwich came loaded in a crunchy patty with beans & veggies inside toasted buns. I was anticipating a good bite; the only problem was that it was rock hard without much flavour. Since I don't like wasting food, I didn't toss it out. The spicy chicken was crispy and seasoned well similar to Taiwanese fried chicken. Its only drawback was that the spice seasoning was quite salty. Not as ultra crispy as Taiwanese night market chicken but it'll do. One benefit of this location is that dessert is only a stone's throw away. The nearby Wooffles & Cream stall is always busy. The rest of this quiet food court seemed to have fallen on harder times during the pandemic though a return to office may help boost lunch business. However, we'll be getting our fried chicken fix from elsewhere at a similar price point.

Spaghetti and meatballs were cooked well. The meatballs were very meaty, large and super tender - fall apart tender. The mushroom flatbread came out nice and hot, great flavor. Price: It is on the more expensive end at 20$ a dish but the amount of food is a lot which makes up for it.

A lot of meat and cheese, goes perfectly with drinks. Speaking of drinks, they are pretty generous with the quantity too. The place is spacious, has different seating arrangements - bar, dining and lounge. The service was great too. Would revisit it next time around.
