Went on a friend's enthusiastic recommendation and picked up dinner and lunch for the next day (I trusted her opinion!). This place is not visible from Hwy 153, but if you pull into the mall entrance from 153 and turn right, you will see it tucked away in the corner. There is plenty of parking. I ordered a spicy chicken bowl - no lettuce, a steak and harrisa bowl, and a spicy chicken pita. My son loved the steak bowl. I asked the young lady to separate the meat and rice from the cold stuff because he would be eating later that night and they did - very nice. The spicy chicken bowl does not have warm/hot chicken which was unexpected so at first I was confused but since the steak was room temp/cool as well, I guess it is supposed to be "salad" temp. It was so flavorful either way! The whipped feta was creamy and delivered a nice contrast to the chicken. The pita was fluffy and quite thick - definitely a meal. Delicious, flavorful bowls & pita wraps (gyros)! LOVE the greens & grains w falafel & their Greek chicken is tender and delicious - my Mom loved hers so much! Bowl's usually come w pita, and when we dined in, that was great. However, when I DoorDashed, included a tip, and a note which asked to dbl check for pita, I had no pita and a considerably smaller bowl. I try to avoid chains for more of the local places, but this place has the hospitality that most chains lack. The food was fresh, customizable for those who cannot eat meat, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered all questions with a smile. Their sodas are Maine Root (minimal ingredients and delicious) and their juices use real ingredients with minimal sugar. I also felt like the food was worth the money. We will definitely make this a regular stop for us, and I think you could easily get something new every time and not get tired of the ingredients. I have only had cava one time previously in an airport and was in love, so when I saw the sign I started happy dancing. It did not disappoint. The quality of the food, the friendly and professional customer service and cleanliness was amazing. Then the beverage section of fresh juices is a must. I'd say cava is pretty good. The flavors are truly unique and amazing. I always enjoy my meal. My only complaint is that with assembly style dining the meat station can be under cared for and the meat can get dry. But everything is truly prepared well and delicious nonetheless. read more

This place is awesome. I love a big hearty salad with many textures. If you're looking for something super healthy & super tasty this is the place. I regret not coming sooner on my Trip to Tennesse. I came here with a group of 5. The line was slightly long but the staff got through everyone pretty quick. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked questions since we hadn't been there before. Everyone loved their food and the lime mint juice was good. The only downside was that it was pretty cold inside so I recommend a jacket. Cava's has been a family favorite for a few years and we were excited to finally have one here in town however the Cava's in Hixson we have had less than pleasant experiences. Each time we go it seems like they've reduced the servings of ingredients and have gotten to charging extra for everything. Wife and I went for lunch. 1st time visit. We got a build your own bowl. We went through the line and followed the servers lead. She said the avacodo was an extra so we did not get it. The casheir said a coke product came with it. We got water. I asked for an additional pita bread quarter. For some reason they charged us $3 extra for the bowl. No receipt was given. The extra 1/4 pita was $4.38 w/tax. I got a separate charge for that with receipt. Just watch what you are charged for! Good food! read more

A little better, only had to wait an hour. The worst part is that there is NO indication of the long wait time until AFTER placing and paying for your order.
