Everything was delicious, and the ambience is cool for a strip mall shop. The owner is super nice and the place mostly self-serve with water, napkin & utensil (sadly plastic) dispensers. This place was fantastic! We were in town visiting my sister and her family. Just came back from Rock City (also highly recommend) and we were trying to decide where to eat. TBH this style of food was not high on my priorities for Chattanooga but we decided yes after my sister said she loves this place. You order on a kiosk and have to note any requests at the bottom of the order (things like "dressing on the side" or "light feta") so there is no room for explanation or questions. Almost half of the toppings are an extra $0.79 upcharge when the basic bowl is already $16+. When we received our food, we were told we could go get utensils in the corner if we needed them. Of course we needed them. I don't mean to be nit-picky, but small adjustments to their service like a simple greeting or having silverware on the table/by the order kiosks could have made the experience a lot better. read more

The bowl with beef was just ok and the portion was very small. The best part was the spicy garlic sauce and the baba ghanoush was very good. Nothing that would merit a return visit , but I know that I'm spoiled with the amazing Mediterranean food we have in Atlanta. We have been here 4 times since they have opened and it's been excellent every time. Everything is easily customized with their touch screen ordering system and the food is out quick especially considering how fresh everything is. I thought the touch screen ordering might mean the dining experience would be impersonal, but not the case, as everyone working there is very warm and friendly. This is the only restaurant where my family members, which includes a 12 year old vegetarian and a nine year old carnivore are all equally excited to go. We all love the hibiscus and also the mint lemonade. My nine year old reminded me to make this review and had this contribution: "It was very good, because the chicken is so good, and the rice." Let it be noted that he is quite picky. It's a casual spot and every time I have eaten there with my kids, there have been other people with young kids, eating happily. The owner and I were outside and he was showing me all his herbs and he's trying to make the patio really cute and nice for people and I see people complain about the portion sizes a lot but I think you have to take in mind that it's really slow. The food is still really good And I honestly just asked for a little bit more chicken and they gave it to me instantly without a problem or making it a big deal the owners are really amazing. I'm new to Chattanooga, was born and raised in NYC. I don't think I'm picky when it comes to food, but my boyfriend thinks I'm a bit of a food snob. A mom and pop type of restaurant with unique menu items that actually taste good! This is what other restaurants should aspire their menu to be like! The fig and apricot hummus was amazing, even my boyfriend who isn't much into hummus really enjoyed it. The stuffed grape leaves were great, much better than I've had in a long time. The ambiance is that of a grab and go vibe, though we ate in and enjoyed the quiet setting. This is without question one of the best restaurants in Chattanooga. Great spot for delicious, allergy-conscious Mediterranean food! I ate a falafel bowl and felt great afterwards--I have celiac disease, so eating at new places can be risky, but this was a win. The bowls can come with either pita bread or celery and carrots. I must have missed the area where you choose this one the touchscreen menu, but I mentioned my allergy to the man working there and he made sure my food came out totally gluten free. The mango lemonade was really good too, good flavor and not too sweet. Also, my falafel bowl was served in a compostable container (nice!).
