    Ramadan Iftar Meal (Lamb)

While waiting near by. Thought we would pop in here for healthy food. Mediterranean food is by far the healthiest. We were surprised by the number of people in this establishment. Small, about every table was taken. This place was very busy. Upon arrival we were greeted by the cashier who explained how the menu worked. Cafeteria style, food is ready. Cashier was very hospitable. We both opted for chicken, rice, hummus & salad. Chicken oh so tender & seasoned perfectly, bread fresh & thin, (perfect for those watching the carbs), salad & rice. Healthy yet I managed to over consume. Definitely will return again.

Absolutely amazing experience. The food is incredibly authentic, fresh, and full of flavor -- easily some of the best Mediterranean cuisine in town. Every dish tastes homemade and high quality. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and you can tell they truly care about their guests. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real, authentic Mediterranean food and a great overall dining experie

Great customer service. Awesome authentic vibes. I love trying new dishes from different cultures and the staff here gets that and gives suggestions based on what your craving for protein. Did I mentioned they are fine as hell!!!! Good god. These men. Ty lord. Anyway. Try it out. I suggest the laziza drink!! So good!!

    Pita

Service is amazing. Incredibly efficient once you walk in the door. That said, no communication from a Yelp order, so I walked in somewhat blind. But, my meal was ready, at the earliest point of on time. So no harm done. Hummus is really solid. Pita is Phoenicia brand. They literally gave it to me in the bag when I asked for extra. While it's fine, it's disappointing. Was hoping for house cooked. The stuffed grape leaves were great. The Kafta left SO much to be desired. The tahini Kafta felt like a really bad attempt at Swedish meatballs. JUST MAKE KAFTA. I want to love this place so much, but between the Kafta and the lack of fresh pita, it's hard.

The food was delicious, the service and staff were amazing, and overall I enjoyed my experience. Seating is limited but still a great spot to grab food. Some items from their menu rotate daily, but they have a nice variety of food at their buffet station. I highly recommend for some comfort Mediterranean food!

I am so impressed with this small but clean and beautiful restaurant. The host was wonderful and you can tell he is so passionate about his food! His smile, grace and wonderful customer service is rare today. But oh the food! Wow! We got a sampler for each of us. Like a small Smorgasbord. so worth it and I have to tell you the Moussaka and tomato kufta absolutely amazing! My personal favorite was the Tahini Kufta. So wonderful and the baklava was so good! I highly recommend you try this little spot. You will not regret this. I was too busy eating to take more pics.

    Bright cozy with comfortable seating.

This is a new Mediterranean buffet. It has become my favorite for this type of cuisine in San Antonio! It's homestyle cooking which is what I love. Most other restaurants use way too much spice and vinegar for my taste. The ingredients are so fresh! The service is very quick and friendly. The owners made me feel so welcome. The restaurant has a bright minimalistic decor and clean. The chairs are very comfortable.

Apparently, she has been here many times already with her husband and some of their good friends :) ! We came on a Friday before the Happy Hour specials ended at 6:30 pm this :) ! I loved my Aphrodite Spritz :D ! My friend ordered the Athena Dion and the Santorini Bikini :) ! For our Happy Hour dishes, we ordered the Tirshi (butternut squash, harissa, and pepita chili crisp), the Dakos (marinated Texas heirloom tomatos, sourdough croutons, black olive salt, tulum and fresh Za' atar) and the Olive Oil Cake :) ! We really loved how a lot of the cocktail drinks and delicious dishes are Greek - themed ;) ! Our waiter was extremely attentive, friendly and prompt :) ! The ambiance is absolutely perfect for anyone to eat there solo, or with friends and family :) ! There is seating both outside and inside. For my first time there, we sat outside on the second level. If it wasn't so hot and humid, it would have been nice sitting outside. I would have preferred to sit inside during the summer. Except when we went, it was already early Friday evening, and most of the indoor seating at the bars and tables were taken. I would highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant to anyone :D ! Their Happy Hour prices are extremely reasonable :) ! Although, I wouldn't mind coming back for their regular non-Happy Hour dining too :D !

I also had the spicy passionfruit mezcal cocktail (The Prophet), which was excellent. The service was friendly and welcoming from everyone we interacted with, and the staff even called us right away when we accidentally left something at our table. Bonus points for easy free street parking nearby and a great location for walking around the Pearl before dinner. Great food, great value, and we'll definitely be back.

It doesn't feel like a strip mall restaurant. It feels intentional. The pastry case alone deserves its own review. Piped butter cookies, rose-dotted squares dusted with cardamom, delicate filled rolls -- it's the kind of display that makes you order dessert before you've even sat down. And then the food. The chicken shawarma bowl is not playing around -- seasoned chicken, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, creamy garlic sauce over a bed of greens, finished with cracked pepper. Every bite is layered and bold. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-fork and just appreciate it. What sets Tripoli's apart isn't just the food or the ambiance. Food was really good, we both got bowls and took 1/2 home. Good flavor to the food and the pita bread is nothing special, just pita bread but still good, it comes with 4 quarters. We also had the Za'taar wings for an appetizer. They were good and freshly cooked, it comes with 6. A little sweet. We also got dessert to go and the portion is small but hopefully flavor makes up for size. Over all I would return to try other plates.
