Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Suncrest, March, 2026. I got quick take-out from Taziki's in Morgantown, WV. Although a franchise, this was my first visit to any Taziki's location. I ordered a Street Gyro, which is served with potato chips and one's choice of a homemade side ($10.99). The gyro featured charbroiled shaved beef and lamb, sliced tomato, red onion, and Taziki sauce on a griddled pita. Potential sides include basmati rice, roasted new potatoes, fresh-cut fruit, pasta salad, tomato cucumber salad, grilled veggies, or double chips. I selected the tomato cucumber salad. (Note that you can also replace the chips with any of the mentioned sides for a reasonable up-charge (under $1). While I usually enjoy gyros, I was somewhat disappointed with the Street Gyro from Taziki's. The meat was in small pieces, and too charred and dry for my personal taste. Also, I prefer a gyro that has more vegetables (and especially lettuce and cucumbers). I did add the cucumbers and some more tomatoes from my side salad to the gyro but I still missed the crunchiness of lettuce. Next time, I would also upgrade my meal by substituting one of the healthy sides for the chips. The meal was a good value for the amount of food received. I would order take-out from Taziki's again if I needed a quick lunch. read more

I ordered takeout today. I have yet to visit the restaurant in person, so this was my first experience with Taziki's, but by no means will it be my last. To be fair, I've only eaten a third of my order, but from the appearance of the Greek salad, hummus and pita I have yet to eat, it will all be as enjoyable as the items I have already consumed. I have always loved Greek lemon chicken soup, and this may just be the best bowl I have ever enjoyed. I didn't find the soup spoon at first, so I was actually eating the soup with a fork, because it was practically a stew, as it was amazingly full of delicious shredded white meat chicken and rice (not sure if this was orzo or rice or noodles...but they were super delicious...) I also ate the falafel patties with tzatziki dip and they were excellent. When I was done with those, I was too full to take another bite! So I will get one or two meals from the food I have left. Looking forward to exploring the menu and visiting in person. This was a great treat for a lazy meal on the weekend! read more

The food is decent. Totally fine Mediterranean fare. The problem is the value. It's really quite bad. I've never seen a smaller portion of hummus in an appetizer. And the build-your-own bowls are paltry. Definitely not enough there for a meal for an adult. Between the odd amounts of filler Taziki sauce, a little bit of quinoa, a few slices of chicken, and a spoonful of roasted veggies, there may be 1.5 cups of cheaply-sourced food per expensive bowl. This is not my first time here but it was my best experience to date. I ordered the chicken kabob feast with Mediterranean salad (not pita chips because of allergy) and the roasted potatoes. Even though it was a busy Friday afternoon, the line went quickly and the cashier was efficient and professional. They were filled about 80% so it was easy to grab a table and I received my food in about 5 minutes. Tables were clean and they have decorated a bit for Halloween. I will have this combo again and stop in again soon! read more

Placed an online order for a lamb gryo, rice, and potatoes. The "lamb" was HORRIBLE. It wasnt the typical sliced meat they use. This meat reminded me of beef crumble! Harissa chicken was very tough to eat. I really wanted to make this my go to lunch spot but food is inconsistent.

Excellent Greek food at reasonable prices. It's a slightly low-rent version of Cava - I say this only because of the potato chips...not exactly Greek and not upscale...tasty but probably came from a Ruffles bag. The gyro I had, however, was grilled to perfection, with the perfect blend of meat and veggies - no complaints on that front. Place was clean and the staff friendly enough - I think. We had just gotten in from a long trip so I was laser-focused on the food; in my fatigue I wasn't quite as attentive to the trappings outside of the plate. I did enjoy my meal and am pretty sure my wife and I are going back next time we're in the area. read more

Staff were friendly. We ordered two soup and salad combos. The chicken Lemon soup was overly lemon. The salad was missing Greek olives. They are listed on the menu. When we asked if they are supposed to be in the salad they acted shocked. Then we asked for them and they gave us 2 each. Not a big deal. It appears they were being cheap and not completing the salad as on the menu since it was a special. The food is meh. The baked pita chips are overly salty. Humus amazing. If you want Greek food, go somewhere else. We had chicken lemon soup, falafel, Greek salad and tomato, basil soup. The lettuce was fresh, but it was very gritty. I've been here a couple times now. This is a very cute restaurant love cares in Suncrest plaza next to Wild Wings. It's clean and spacious inside with plenty of seating for tables of two to four. It's a counter order, then they deliver the food to your table. It comes pretty quick. Definitely a good place to get in and out of for a lunch break. I had the grilled chicken gyro this time with the roasted potato side. It also comes with chips. It was decent and I like the sauce. My complaint here would be that the sandwich wasn't very warm and I think the veggies on it had seen fresher days. I've been here before and had the beef gyro and it had barely any sauce; that wasn't the case this time. The sauce was plentiful and tasty. My husband wasn't happy with the amount of sauce on his gyro though. My potatoes were great. Light lemon by, heavy taste and plenty hot. A little oily but I enjoyed them. I like the Greeks gyros better in town but I prefer this restaurant's environment. I would come back if I didn't feel like driving across town for a gyro but I would ask for extra sauce just in case. read more
