I ordered a large sb banana with rainbow jelly and it's pretty good, not too sweet which i like. What makes them unique from other boba stores is "green" drinks which are made of vegetable. They display all the "green" in the front so you can see and know they make those drinks 100% fresh. I didn't try any "green" drink yet, but if you want a healthy drink without sugar, take a chance on them. I also love how they have samples of different kinds of milk tea. Service is good. Tbaar is your standard boba place, but it sets itself apart from others with its large variety and healthy menu items. Not a lot of people order from Tbaar since there's other boba places at The Source, so there's usually no lines and you can get your order in about 5 minutes. The workers are all friendly and wear masks and gloves for safety. The drinks themselves are a bit pricey; they're about $1 more expensive than other stores with comparable cup sizes and drinks. The fruit flavored teas don't taste too sweet and syrupy like other places so that's nice, but sometimes they can taste a little floral, like perfume. The boba pearls are smaller than average, but they give you a good amount in your drink. As a bonus, sometimes they give you free Kpop cup holders and merchandise if a certain Kpop idol's birthday is nearby or has recently passed. For seating, there's an outdoor space outside of the food court for you to sit, but most of the time I prefer walking around the shops while sipping my drink. read more

I agree with reviewers; Tbaar has great customer service. It was memorable even though I see them 10 minutes top. It's kinda cute that they deliver drinks straight to me waiting at a nearby table. Their manners are very respectful and happy. Drinks are 10/10. I looooooove their Sea Salt Milk Foam Green Tea. The foam consistency is creamier and cheesy unlike the sea salt cream at most boba places. It goes perfectly with the green tea. The Just Beet It is perfect, all natural. I don't normally leave reviews but this place is so nice I decided to leave one. The tea here is fantastic! While a lot of other tea places are just overbearingly sweet (even with adjustments) this place you can actually taste and enjoy the tea. If you're not in the mood for tea they also have a good selection of fresh juice and smoothies! The employees here also very friendly and make suggestions if you're not entirely sure what you want. On top of that they do provided some free samples which is always nice. Overall my favorite tea place in the area definitely try it! read more

I came here to order a green smoothie and waited for awhile considering there was no one else waiting and I see the guys blending up all sorts of veggies and fruits.....forever. It is pretty sweet so I get anywhere from 50-75% less sweet, but I love it. Best thing about it is you can taste the actual tea. It's not overly sweetened powdered drink like you'd taste elsewhere. There's an underlying roasted flavor that is o delicious. Other great options are the carbonated fruit drinks, brown sugar milk drinks, and the freshly roasted teas which are so good on a cold day. The tea and juices here are fantastic! I am more than willing to make the drive to here from Irvine for their fresh juices, teas, and lemonades. The flavored teas have just the right amount of natural sweetness while still keeping the flavor of the tea. I love coming and trying some of the free samples beforehand if I do not know what I want, and the staff are incredibly friendly and ready to offer their recommendations. I went on their first opening day. Not only were their staff super helpful on what I should order, they made my experience worth while. I had a lot of questions since they had a huge variety of drinks to choose from, and they explained to me in detail of what each drink contained. The difference between TBaar and your average juice store is that this place uses REAL FRUITS! Super fresh and delicious. I ordered the Fresh Passionfruit Green Tea, Amazing Lemonade, Just Beet It, TBaar Milk Green Tea with pudding, and Grapefruit Aloe. They had the perfect sweetness and they don't overload on ice in your drinks either! Even if you had a problem with your drink, they would gladly change it to your taste with no complaints! The pudding was also very delicious. Easy to come through the straws with perfect texture. TBaar is definitely going to be my #1 go to for drinks now since it's located in such a nice shopping center with a huge seating area. This place is newly built with such a nice view even from the parking structure! I got the Mango, strawberry, and banana smoothie, which was a bit sweet but still great because of its price, 5.50. My friend got the Mega C+ which was not so good and was 7.50 for a medium. I wouldn't say this is a bad drink shop at all. For being a tea house though, their teas are mediocre. I'm sure the tea leaves aren't the lowest quality, but they are in no way high quality. Brewing tea, like coffee, is an art. They seem to brew the tea in boiling hot water because my tea was bitter and burnt. Any barista or tea sommelier will tell you that you CAN burn your product if you use too hot of water. The prices aren't terrible. Tea houses do charge $4 or so for good tea, so I didn't have a problem with the price. My problem was the product that I received was not worth that price. I would much rather go to Gong Cha around the corner. read more

I went here because of the rave reviews about how friendly the service is and how the fruit teas are so much better than their competitors. Needless to say I was very disappointed with BOTH the drinks and the service. Since it was my first time, I asked some questions regarding the drinks and was met with an extremely confusing response, because he either didn't understand what I was asking, or he just wasn't able to explain things to us in a clear and effective manner. My friend had to come help and try to rephrase my questions so that he'd understand. All of this is fine- eventually I was able to complete my order, and all was well. After a few minutes, another worker called out to me, wanting me to drink a tea sample on the counter, which I politely declined saying that it was okay because I had already ordered. He kept repeating the name of the tea over and over, and started getting annoyed that I wouldn't take it. We were so confused until we read between the lines and assumed that he actually wanted me to sample the tea that he had just made to check whether or not it was sweet enough. It would have been nice to just make that clear from the beginning instead of getting annoyed at your customers. Okay, even up to this point, I could have still given 3 or 4 stars IF the drinks made up for it. Lo and behold, I take a sip of the drink and it's SUPER watered down. At this point, I'm regretting going to this place over Gong Cha, wishing I stuck with my original choice. The final straw- they forgot to give me the boba I paid an extra 50 cents for.
