1. The drink was a little sweet, but it was still delicious and refreshing! 2. The spot had fun casual vibes since it is located inside a foodcourt of an outdoor mall! 3. There are plenty of indoor tables as well as outdoor tables nearby! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with my order! 5. There is a free parking structure nearby! Located in the food court, ordered four drinks. We got Brown Sugar Tea (L-$6.25), Thai Iced Tea (L-$6), Strawberry G.T. Milk Foam (L-$6.95), and Brown Sugar Matcha (L-$6.50). Boba is an extra $0.65 for certain drinks, I ordered boba along with the strawberry drink but the employee that helped me ( J ) did not add it and I didn't catch the mistake until after the drink was made so he charged us an extra $0.70 to give us the boba in a cup and put in ourselves. Total for everything came out to around $30, drinks also took quite awhile to make but he was the only employee working. Wasn't the best boba I've had but was nice to try, probably wouldn't come back again.

TBarr was kind of a disappointment. They are known for their many various flavors of boba drinks, juices, millie cakes, smoothies and lemonades. I came with a few people for an after lunch treat. I got their Brown Sugar Bubble Tea which already included boba. I got it 50% sweet and the sweetness level was just right. However, the boba in the drink was not very good. The tea also tasted really basic. The person I came with got their Brown Sugar Bubble milk which they said tasted more like just milk. TBarr is located inside the food court on the 3rd floor of The Source.

I got the brown sugar matcha boba!! It was very good and had almost the right amount of sweetness (I didn't change the sweetness level, just 50% ice) -- I think I would've preferred it just a bit sweeter, but I like that they added a good amount of matcha in the drink. I also got the mango mille crepe cake slice. It was very good: it tasted moderately of mangoes with mango chunks, and was sweet, slightly tart. It was expensive, though, at $8.25 a slice, and I feel like it could've been a bit bigger for that price. I definitely want to come back and try some of their smoothies and their matcha mille crepe cake, though! Service was relatively quick for how busy it was! We went around lunchtime, and this place is in a food court at The Source! It's in The Grub on the third floor (4th floor for anyone taking the elevator in the parking lot). It was quite loud and busy but they're really good at calling out your number.

This is one of the first spots you see when you enter the food court on the third floor. It seems like their main focus is their green drinks but my date wanted something healthy so here we are, trying something new. I tried to find the tastiest non-green drink here and settled with their advertised Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. The drink itself wasn't a bad drink, although it wasn't anything memorable, I did not regret getting it. However, the normal sizing is tiny especially for the price!

Sea Salt Milk Foam (Jasmine Green Tea with Milk Foam) Mango Pineapple Smoothie

That is located on the 3rd floor food court in The Source in OC. I got the sea salt milk foam and my bf got the mango pineapple smoothie. The smoothie was good, the fruits were fresh and delicious. The smoothie texture was good too. I didn't know the sea salt milk foam would default to green tea, I would've preferred black tea but it's good. The milk foam is more like cheese foam, and it was really thick. Good if you like to eat the foam, but didn't mix well with the drink. I had to really shake it to combine it with the tea. Overall not bad, I didn't get boba so I can't judge that.

The crepe cakes were fresh and delicious!! The mango cake has fresh real mangoes inside and strong mango flavor. The brown sugar milk tea was also good, but sweet enough at 50% sugar. Service was pretty fast, and there's a nice large seating area in the food court where this place is located.

This shop have so many amazing drinks options from fresh fruit to fresh squeezed drinks to smoothies. They also offer crepes and fresh fruits cups. Ordered Fresh Passion Fruit tea It is Jasmine green tea based filled with fruits and jelly bits. I wasn't sure if the sugar level option was available for this drink. It tasted half bitter and sweet. It was okay drink. The service was fast and the staff was good. It is located on the 3rd floor food court at the Souce mall. The place is cool. I would like to try other varieties next time.

Wife and I got some Tbaar drinks to sneak in the movies. She got orange green tea while I got the lychee lime green tea. Unfortunately for me, her tasted much better than mine. The lychee lime had a weird aftertaste, while her orange green tea tasted like they squeezed real oranges in there. Overall though this place usually delivers high quality drinks, so just have been a bad choice on my part.

This place is okay, nothing special. I think I'd rather get a drink here than at Gong Cha. But I usually go to Ding Tea downstairs. I do like their little cup lid stopper though. I hope they bring more cafés into the Source.

It's a little overwhelming to go through but there's so many choices that there's a drink for everyone. I got the Lychee Lime Green Tea and it was perfect on a hot day. The drinks came out quickly.

Location: The third floor of The Source, which is an outdoor shopping mall on the corner of Beach Boulevard and Orangethrope. Getting there: Entrance to the parking garage is on Beach Boulevard. You can also use the back entrance on Brenner Avenue. There's a good amount of spaces but finding a close spot can be challenging. Thankfully it's free, except for the Tesla chargers. Park on Level 4 if you're specifically visiting Tbaar. Vibe: It's inside a food court. You order at the register and pick up your drink at the counter on the right side when it's ready. There are several chairs and tables all throughout The Source, both inside and outside. Menu: Your typical milk teas, brewed teas, oolong teas, foam teas, and smoothies. The mojitos are unique, non-alcoholic I assume though. Ice and sugar levels are adjustable except for their 100% juice series, which does not have added ice or sugar. Toppings were 50 cents additional. Black Milk Tea with Boba: Pleasantly creamy and silky. Tea flavor was present and the adjusted sweetness level (75%) matched expectations. They are generous with the toppings, my drink came with a lot of boba. Consistency was kind of soft and the size of the tapioca spheres was smaller than I personally prefer. Passion Fruit Smoothie: Tropical and citrusy. Very flavorful and refreshing. Verdict: Nice place to take a break from shopping and pick up drinks. There are two other boba shops in this mall, Gong Cha and Ding Tea. I would choose this one over both of them.

The reason why I gave this boba/drink place 4 stars is primarily due to the fragrant and delicious Tbarr green tea milk tea they make. You can smell the flower in the drink and it's not overly sweet. Other drinks there are okay but the reason I continue to go back is solely because of this drink in particular. read more

I ordered a large sb banana with rainbow jelly and it's pretty good, not too sweet which i like. What makes them unique from other boba stores is "green" drinks which are made of vegetable. They display all the "green" in the front so you can see and know they make those drinks 100% fresh. I didn't try any "green" drink yet, but if you want a healthy drink without sugar, take a chance on them. I also love how they have samples of different kinds of milk tea. Service is good. I go here once a week. I love this place because of their Strawberry yogurt drink. They also have some good green tea smoothie. These guys also hand deliver your drink. One time... I was hiding behind a pole to see if they can find me and they legit hand delivered to me. They knew where I was sitting... That's legit customer service/ low key creepy. 5 stars for good service and good drinks. read more

Tbaar is your standard boba place, but it sets itself apart from others with its large variety and healthy menu items. Not a lot of people order from Tbaar since there's other boba places at The Source, so there's usually no lines and you can get your order in about 5 minutes. The workers are all friendly and wear masks and gloves for safety. The drinks themselves are a bit pricey; they're about $1 more expensive than other stores with comparable cup sizes and drinks. The fruit flavored teas don't taste too sweet and syrupy like other places so that's nice, but sometimes they can taste a little floral, like perfume. The boba pearls are smaller than average, but they give you a good amount in your drink. As a bonus, sometimes they give you free Kpop cup holders and merchandise if a certain Kpop idol's birthday is nearby or has recently passed. For seating, there's an outdoor space outside of the food court for you to sit, but most of the time I prefer walking around the shops while sipping my drink. read more

LOVE fresh juice bars! Glad to have found this healthy gem on the third floor food court at The Source. Got the "Super Green" which features kale, spinach, cucumber, apple, celery, and lemon. Loved how they make it fresh, right in front of you. After the fresh ingredients are juiced, it's sealed just like the top of a Boba!! My only gripe is that I wish that the drink was COLD...The ingredients are on full display for the consumer to verify the freshness...just wished that the refrigeration was stronger. read more

I agree with reviewers; Tbaar has great customer service. It was memorable even though I see them 10 minutes top. It's kinda cute that they deliver drinks straight to me waiting at a nearby table. Their manners are very respectful and happy. Drinks are 10/10. I looooooove their Sea Salt Milk Foam Green Tea. The foam consistency is creamier and cheesy unlike the sea salt cream at most boba places. It goes perfectly with the green tea. The Just Beet It is perfect, all natural. Tbaar is the reason I visit The Source at least once week. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but this place is so nice I decided to leave one. The tea here is fantastic! While a lot of other tea places are just overbearingly sweet (even with adjustments) this place you can actually taste and enjoy the tea. If you're not in the mood for tea they also have a good selection of fresh juice and smoothies! The employees here also very friendly and make suggestions if you're not entirely sure what you want. On top of that they do provided some free samples which is always nice. Overall my favorite tea place in the area definitely try it! read more

It is a hot summer and I just wanted a nice refreshing cold healthy green smoothie. I came here to order a green smoothie and waited for awhile considering there was no one else waiting and I see the guys blending up all sorts of veggies and fruits.....forever. He finally hanfs it to me only to find that my smoothie was warm AF! How do u serve up warm smoothies! None if the veggies or fruitz were frozen or kept cold and he didn't use ice or anything cold to blend it with. Gross! read more

Best boba place in the area hands down! Their amazing black milk tea is so smooth with a perfect sweetness and chewy boba balls. It is pretty sweet so I get anywhere from 50-75% less sweet, but I love it. Best thing about it is you can taste the actual tea. It's not overly sweetened powdered drink like you'd taste elsewhere. There's an underlying roasted flavor that is o delicious. Other great options are the carbonated fruit drinks, brown sugar milk drinks, and the freshly roasted teas which are so good on a cold day. They are generous with the fruit too and it's all fresh. If you like an authentic tea shop instead of a water-downed milkshake, grab a drink at T'baar at The Source! It's the best! read more

The tea and juices here are fantastic! I am more than willing to make the drive to here from Irvine for their fresh juices, teas, and lemonades. The flavored teas have just the right amount of natural sweetness while still keeping the flavor of the tea. I love coming and trying some of the free samples beforehand if I do not know what I want, and the staff are incredibly friendly and ready to offer their recommendations. If I lived closer to here, I would grab a juice or tea at least once a day. Keep up the great work! read more

I really loved how they put chunks of fruit inside their drinks. I got the honeydew milk tea and the passion fruit green tea here. I've had better honeydew milk tea but he passion fruit green tea was amazing. If you're gonna get a drink here, get a fruity one because they put chunks of multiple different fruit in the drink and it goes great with the boba. read more

I've been here in the past. Parking is always free and plentiful. This place is located on the 3rd floor. I got myself the mojito with mango and OJ. It was good and refreshing. I do wish they would put more mint and muddle the mint a bit more, but I enjoyed what I got. read more

Their juices are very healthy and high quality. No water, sugar, or ice added. I got the Just Beet It. The Red Bean Herbal Matcha tea is also good. 10% discount for military, OC gov. employees, and police. Recommended place. read more

I went on their first opening day. Not only were their staff super helpful on what I should order, they made my experience worth while. I had a lot of questions since they had a huge variety of drinks to choose from, and they explained to me in detail of what each drink contained. The difference between TBaar and your average juice store is that this place uses REAL FRUITS! Super fresh and delicious. I ordered the Fresh Passionfruit Green Tea, Amazing Lemonade, Just Beet It, TBaar Milk Green Tea with pudding, and Grapefruit Aloe. They had the perfect sweetness and they don't overload on ice in your drinks either! Even if you had a problem with your drink, they would gladly change it to your taste with no complaints! The pudding was also very delicious. Easy to come through the straws with perfect texture. TBaar is definitely going to be my #1 go to for drinks now since it's located in such a nice shopping center with a huge seating area. This place is newly built with such a nice view even from the parking structure! (Since they have a 5 level parking structure you could see the view from afar) also, park on the 4th floor if you want to go straight to TBaar! I can't wait to visit this place again! read more

What I love about this place is how fresh their drinks are. It's not syrups and powders like other places. Not to mention they have a HUGE menu. I could get anything from milk tea to a green smoothie here. I got the fresh pear tea and it was so refreshing! They use REAL PEAR and not syrup. The difference in taste is crazy. I love it. It wasn't too sweet either which is my problem with a lot of other places. This is definitely my new favorite boba spot. read more

They have a variety of milk teas to a variety of healthy smoothies that include kale and such. My friends enjoyed this place and think the drinks are great. Personally, I don't like the texture of the drinks as they have a more gritty consistency, but if that is your thing, go for it! read more

This is honestly my favorite boba tea place. I wish this place was closer to me. My favorite thing to get here is the green milk tea. It is my go-to drink. I also love to get the amazing black milk tea. All of their teas and drinks are so flavorful and refreshing. Everything tastes so fresh. I love the ingredients they use to make their drinks. Every time I bring a friend to this Boba spot they are impressed with the drinks. I will keep coming back here for the drinks. read more

Went to the Source to find something to eat but instead found this. The drinks are all natural and they all taste fairly good. I got the Mango, strawberry, and banana smoothie, which was a bit sweet but still great because of its price, 5.50. My friend got the Mega C+ which was not so good and was 7.50 for a medium. The service was great and overall, this place was great! Will be going here again once I'm back at the source. read more

I absolutely LOVE and adore this boba place! The workers are always super nice and the drinks come out quickly. My favorite drinks are the Tbaar green milk tea and the Tbaar black milk tea! Classics made very well! Their boba is so gooey and chewy and perfect. They aren't stingy on their portions and they don't fill up your drink all the way with ice. read more

Their boba is good but the first time coming back after Covid, the cashier didn't ask for sugar level or ice level. I didn't realize until I actually tried the oolong milk boba tea I got. It was super sweet. I bought it again but this time I had to say 50% sugar without her asking me because she was about to wrap my order up. read more

I wouldn't say this is a bad drink shop at all. For being a tea house though, their teas are mediocre. I'm sure the tea leaves aren't the lowest quality, but they are in no way high quality. Brewing tea, like coffee, is an art. They seem to brew the tea in boiling hot water because my tea was bitter and burnt. Any barista or tea sommelier will tell you that you CAN burn your product if you use too hot of water. The prices aren't terrible. Tea houses do charge $4 or so for good tea, so I didn't have a problem with the price. My problem was the product that I received was not worth that price. I would much rather go to Gong Cha around the corner. read more

I went here because of the rave reviews about how friendly the service is and how the fruit teas are so much better than their competitors. Needless to say I was very disappointed with BOTH the drinks and the service. Since it was my first time, I asked some questions regarding the drinks and was met with an extremely confusing response, because he either didn't understand what I was asking, or he just wasn't able to explain things to us in a clear and effective manner. My friend had to come help and try to rephrase my questions so that he'd understand. All of this is fine- eventually I was able to complete my order, and all was well. After a few minutes, another worker called out to me, wanting me to drink a tea sample on the counter, which I politely declined saying that it was okay because I had already ordered. He kept repeating the name of the tea over and over, and started getting annoyed that I wouldn't take it. We were so confused until we read between the lines and assumed that he actually wanted me to sample the tea that he had just made to check whether or not it was sweet enough. It would have been nice to just make that clear from the beginning instead of getting annoyed at your customers. Okay, even up to this point, I could have still given 3 or 4 stars IF the drinks made up for it. Lo and behold, I take a sip of the drink and it's SUPER watered down. Good refreshing tea! And great servers too! My boyfriend ordered the passion fruit tea not expecting jelly. He requested them to remove the jelly. They not only did that but went above and beyond to give my boyfriend more fruit bits! My boyfriend really enjoyed his drink. read more

I recently visited this boba place and had mixed feelings about the experience. The location is convenient, situated on the third floor of The Source OC, which is great. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly and efficient. However, the quality of the boba itself was disappointing. The tea was watered down (even with less ice), and the boba didn't have a great texture. Overall, while the service and location were good, the boba fell short of expectations.
