Tried out TC Hooligans for a drink and appetizers with some friends for her birthday. This is a great place for Christmas decorations.. definitely gets you in the holiday spirit. We were able to reserve a table and the waitress was pretty attentive. The first bartender I had was attentive and efficient, about an hour a later another bartender helped me and acted inconvenienced that I was ordering a drink when no when else was waiting for a drink. I very rarely have bad experiences with bartenders, so it irked me, but the other servers I experienced were attentive and respectful so I may be back for some festive drinks and apps. read more

Visited the area for ~ 1week, stopped by here every night. Food is excellent, drinks are cold (and plentiful), but the staff made the experience. The service was terrible here. After we were seated we waited 20 minutes to get water and menus. After ordering we waited 40 minutes for our food and they were only moderately busy in the restaurant area. Some guests seated after us received their food sooner. One of the orders was wrong and had to be sent back. Then she waited 30 minutes for her correct meal. She seemed more interested in talking to her friends or some guy at the other end of the bar. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service to say the least. I should have paid attention to another review that said check your to go order before leaving. Got back to my hotel and an item was missing. Called the restaurant and the hostess said "oh I'll check with the kitchen if it's ready and you can come back and get it" - as if that isn't very inconvenient and annoying. I drove back - asked if that was my item on the table and got a "yup" - no apology, no offer to take anything off the bill for the cold food I was returning to. I'm annoyed that I left a 20% tip for such poor customer service. I get it - it's a busy Friday night but the hostess did not check my order the first time before giving it to me and had zero service e recovery skills. Went for brunch and it was just ok. My wife really liked her burger and the large amount of fries but i found my breakfast pizza soggy, like it had too many ingredients on it (6) and wasnt given time to cook thoroughly. Service was adequate but most servers recognize timing, that most people want soup out first, before the meal. That's why it's called an appetizer. My 2 friends and I wanted to get together for lunch and went to TC Hooligans in Greece, NY. It took 15 minutes for someone to come and clear off our table., bring menus and water. No inquiry about something else to drink. We waited about 15 minutes more before a waitress came to take our orders. I had to ask for a different beverage. Someone other than our waitress brought our food and asked if we needed anything. I asked for ranch dressing. It never arrived. Our waitress never came over and asked us how our food was. Two of us ordered the boneless chicken platter. The chicken was overcooked - so hard you couldn't cut it with a knife. You could barely chew it! Still no waitress and no ranch dressing. I went to the Hostess Station and asked an employee there about getting ranch dressing and having our waitress come to our table. She said she would. No one showed up. Finally, my friend asked to speak to the manager. We explained all of this to her and her initial response was to offer me a "shot" and that "one wouldn't hurt"! So many management rules and guidelines here were broken. We were told that they had a lot of diners to see to, too. Needless to say, we will never go back there again! read more

I have come to this spot multiple times, but this experience was extra special. Our server Analisa was so personable, you could see her smile through her mask. The food came out in a timely fashion, and was perfect, which is rare for a restaurant that is so busy. The bar-back, Nick, was also extremely friendly and helped us as well. The manager came over halfway through our meal, I believe his name was Mike, just to introduce himself and check on our meals. But their patio is awesome, drinks are reasonably priced, crowd is diverse and friendly and the venue as a whole is pretty cool. If I could give no stars I would. Slow service, incorrect food, uncaring management... actually management was off chatting with their buddies while the servers and service fell apart. Waited 15 minutes before we where greeted by a server, then we waited another 25 minutes for our food. Then the food was delivered wrong. The remake was again WRONG... no mushrooms, really does mean NO mushrooms. Then another 20 minutes without seeing ANY server... then after asking for our check, our server disappeared. After tracking down a manager (who claimed not to know anything about our issues) our bill was magically comped. Our waitress actually broke down into tears telling us our bill was free. Not sure where to lay the blame, but I gather it is a management issue. The managers seemed very interested to chat with buddies coming into the restaurant, or sit at a table and pound energy drinks. A simple lunch turned into a 1 1/4 hour ordeal. I have eaten and enjoyed the bar at the Webster location, so I'm not sure if this is different ownership, but how can the 2 locations be so different in terms of management and server quality??? read more

Came here for the fight. Gonna keep this one short. It's packed. I'm sure they are breaking a fire code but hey, what do I know? Can't get a drink nor food since it's sooooo packed. The first time we visited the food was good, the drinks great (although I ordered just single and was served/charged double) and the atmosphere good. This time around was a lot worse. Got there and had about a 25 minute wait (not bad IMO). We got drinks at the bar and waited, there was room to sit in the bar area but we wanted to actually sit and eat. Pager buzzes and we go to be seated...at the bar - not thrilled but it's whatever. Our server, Nicole, came over and we ordered an app but wanted to look over the food. Appetizer came in about 10 minutes...we never saw Nicole for another 15. Finally we find her and wave her down for our order. Asked for no tomato on my sandwich, got tomato. The person I was with got a burger that was dry and lacked sauce. Our appetizer also had long hairs in it (multiple). She rarely came to check on us and was more interested with the group of guys next to us... Not very happy with TC this time around. We were seated and waited around 10 minutes outside on the patio with no acknowledgement from any server even with them serving another table directly beside us. We pulled into TC Hooligans from out of town around 10pm Friday night. The place was hoppin. Good atmosphere. We ordered sodas and food all at once as it was late and we still needed to check into our hotel. My daughter and boyfriend ordered a burger and fries and I ordered the honeypie wood fired pizza. The burgers came out in a reasonable amount of time. The waitress came over and told me that the pizza would be just another minute. My boyfriend and daughter finished their entire email and the waitress came back over and profusely apologized. I told her to please just pack the pizza to go as we really needed to get to our hotel and get to sleep for an early soccer game. The manager then came over and explained that they only had one pizza oven and bunch of pizza orders had come in. They can only do one at a time. He apologized for the inconvenience and told me he would pay for my dinner. As far as I am concerned, the fact that they addressed the issue head on and did what they could to remedy is a win for me. Good customer service far outweighs anything else in my book. And all the food was incredibly good. Even the pizza that I ate when we got to our hotel. read more

My mom, sister, and I sat for 20 minutes and got ignored while we watched 5 servers wait on all the other tables, three of which were seated after us. Came here with some family, a party of six, at 1:00 on a Tuesday. The restaurant was about half full, indoors and outdoors, so not a huge crowd. We ordered our drinks, and then food within fifteen minutes. We watched as table after table after table got their food, ate it, and left. The waitress came by a few times telling us she kept checking with the kitchen and apologizing for the wait, which was fine, but she never asked if we wanted drink refills. We were thinking about going from table to table to pick food off of other people's plates when we finally got our food, more than an hour after we had ordered. By this time the place was MAYBE a quarter full, and the people behind us - who came about half an out after we did - had almost finished their food. We asked what took so long, acknowledging it wasn't the fault of the waitress and she said she didn't know and kind of dismissed us. We finally got to order a second round of drinks. The food was delicious, particularly the fries, but we won't be going back any time soon. Unless we place the order half an hour before we arrive. read more

Just one star....deserves an explanation. When one sees this, their reaction is, maybe not a good idea to go there. I did make a visit today. Never will go back again. Disclaimer....before I go on my rant, they TCH gets the star for the nice renovation of the building. With that said, it is a fair statement to say I received the "intimidation tactic". I want to keep this post short, so I won't go into specifics. I can safely state, this is one of those rare instances where I felt so "unwelcome" in this type of establishment. I am surprised with this attitude from management (possible owner!?!), because as a few "Yelpers" informed us that there is plenty of competition literally within walking distance. We had been trying to go to Hooligans ever since it moved into the new Greece location. We decided on a Sunday eve, figuring it would not be as crowded as it usually looks. It was not as crowded, but they told us it would be about 35 mins for a table in the dining room. We agreed, figuring we could just wait in the bar. There were several football games playing, and lots of chaos in the bar, which is to be expected. We were not seated at a table for about an hour, even after my husband went to ask about the delay. We were sitting at the bar near the pizza oven and we noted food that was sitting for quite a while before anyone picked it up. This was the deciding factor into why I did not order pizza. We were finally seated, and it was obvious that people in the dining room were just sitting there waiting for the games to end. We ordered a beer each, and the server did not ask us about size and just brought us the largest size (16 vs 22oz). We ordered an appetizer as soon as we sat down, but the app was slow to arrive so we were still eating that when the food came. Food was somewhat cold. I had to take condiments off another table. There were kids in the dining room literally throwing toys at the wall while their parents were busy looking at their phones. Before we left, my husband used the rest room and came back to dry his hands on the table napkins because there were no paper towels in the mens room. Glad we finally got to visit Hooligans, because we had been meaning to go for a long time. Now we know we aren't missing anything. I have been a server as well, and I know that there are some things that you cannot control, such as the kids throwing toys. However, I'm sure there was a manager on hand that could have nicely asked people who were no longer eating to excuse themselves to the bar so that those waiting could be seated. The server could have asked what size drink we wanted, instead of getting us the largest (and more expensive) one. And I'm sure someone could have made sure there were paper towels in the rest rooms. read more

We ordered and saw the salads and nachos other people ordered were huge. It took a while to get our food. Server was very nice. Food was good and the prices were reasonable. My family suggested we go here as they had great food and great service. Unfortunately even on a Sunday evening, I was let down not once but twice. We had a party of 6 with one toddler. Our server(s) were RUDE. The main waitress took everyone's order, but forgot to serve one meal. We reminded her of it again, which was a simple chicken wing platter, and after waiting 1.5 hours to receive it. I told her never mind, please just take it off the bill. According to the management, NY state mandates that if a party is 6 or more, that table will pay a minimum of 20% gratuity. No matter what, even when service was horrible. So we paid the outrageous tip! I want the community to know that NOW WE KNOW HOW the owners can afford their BRAND NEW MULTI-MILLION $$$$ home in Greece!
