Really wanted to like this place because it's near my house and I've heard such great things. They are known for their cheese steak subs, so that's what I got and was very dissatisfied. I've had steak subs from many pizza joints and T.C. Lando was the most disappointing sub I've ever had. Didn't even bother to finish it. The food is average. Service is terrible. Called ahead and waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged once arriving. The woman working the phones and register ignored us and proceeded to help her friends that arrived after us. She never said thank you, or anything polite for that matter. The subs are huge and very tasty, but they are made from ground beef that is precooked. The chicken cutlets are battered not really breaded. Their prices have gotten lofty and don't expect friendly service. Worth a try as long as your expectations are low and pockets deep. read more

Usually this place is great and I typically order the steak and cheese sub. However, when I ordered the steak and cheese sub today it was absolutely disgusting. The meat tasted like freezer burn, almost as if the meat had gone bad or just come out of the freezer. I took two bites and had to throw it away in fear of food poisoning or hurting my pallet! So many things are wrong w/ their cheese steak sub. The steak is more like a minced meat more than scrap steak. An unseasoned and un-marinated minced meat just being browned from raw. Then loads of salt and maybe something else are added to it. On my so-called cajun sub, I have no idea where the cajun part was, even if there was, the disgustingly & overwhelmingly much salt overwhelmed that. Quite bad if you ask me. Will never return. I can't really say anything for subs, but last year I must have came upwards of 150 times after schools with friends just for the French fries! Always fresh made, takes maybe 10 min tops, and they give you a bag almost the size of my torso brimming full of fries for under 4 dollars! The only reason why I'd dock off a star is perhaps because of the less than enthusiastic workers there, but with throngs of high schoolers like us crowding in for fries and the occasional pizza/pasta, that's understandable. I ordered a regular steak burrito on Friday at 12:00 for lunch. I was in the hospital by 5:00 with accute food poisoining. OK, so to make a sub, start with a huge whole loaf of Italian bread, stuff it with huge amounts of good meat, and layer it with pickles, hots, onions and whatever else using a big spoon (in classic old-fashion New England sub fashion). I've always enjoyed the food from the store in Leominster. But their store in Clinton is just terrible. The food doesn't compare to the other store. The cheesesteak was full of grey meat and had a strange sour taste to it. I would simply chalk it up to a bad day in the kitchen, but this is the second time. Both times we were treated very rudely by the staff, and both times they screwed up the order. The food is definitely not good enough to be treated like that. If you're in Clinton, go to P&S. Best cheesesteak in all the land! Get take-out, there's not really a good place to sit. Pizza is also excellent, kind of a high quality "American" style. I also enjoy the italian sub...but usually my craving for the World's Best Cheesesteak wins out. Try it with peppers and onions! read more

This was the most disgusting calzone I have ever had in my life!! There was no seasoning, the crust was soggy, there was no marinara sauce. There was supposed to be three cheeses-ricotta, mozzarella, provolone-but there was barely a spoonful of ricotta only. The worst ever!!! first take out they used gallon of ketchup on my sub so next time i tell them "light on ketchup" for which i get lip service from the counter guy including "you must be a real pain in the ass when going out to restaurants"... that's one way to talk to your customers buddy! and if asking for light on the ketchup causes you that much of a problem maybe you shouldn't be in customer service. read more

They don't give you what you want! I asked for pickles on my sandwich several times and I get home and no pickles. I have walked in there 20 min before closing and been told the grill is closed no cheese burger sub! They are not friendly and abrupt on the phone. I think the quality of food is good, but you pay for it. There are so many sub shops they really need to focus on the customer service. I personally have stopped giving them my business because of the way they treat customers..... not good. They have a Soup Nazi attitude, but their subs don't backup that arrogance and attitude. Have been getting pizzas here at the Acton pizzeria for years. Our benchmark for high-end Italian-style pizza is New York City pizza. The pizzas at Landos in Acton are consistently the tastiest in this area in our experience. The tastiness is a result of the high quality ingredients used - especially the cheeses. Well, this is the last time I ever go to this place! I've put up with the rudeness for a long time, but no more. I usually order by phone and pick up. Same conversation every time: I'd like to place an order for pickup. Either What or yup. The order. 15 minutes. Then hang up. No thank you for your order, nothing. But this time I just went in. I'm looking up at the menu and I guess I took too long to decide because the guy ROLLED his eyes at me and went to the back of the place. The chix quesadilla was beyond horrible-tasteless with big chunks of dried up chicken. The anitipasto had american cheese in it and I got home and no dressing, and I had none at home. Bad cashier service. The employee at the register seemed to think it was his job to decide which size sub we ordered.
