I called TC plumbing yesterday due to a clog in my kitchen drain as well as my washing machine. My problems actually started a couple weeks ago when I called a plumber highly reviewed on here for a '$49 drain cleaning'. They came in and told me I needed hydrojetting for $1000!! My mainline was clear mind you. I had a weird feeling and told them that I needed to get a second opinion and that's when I called Tom Tom was very friendly and honest when I spoke to him on the phone and explained to him the situation and he was surprised that the plumber I used previously would try to charge me an insane amount to clear the drain. He also explained that the kitchen and laundry are connecting. He explained that he is fully booked for the next couple of days, but fortunately for me he was able to send over Steve. He was a kind gentleman as well and got my problems fixed in flash using a snake. I have cleanouts for the kitchen and laundry so he snaked both of them. He even fixed my toilet that had a flushing issue. All for 1/10th the price of the other plumber who is highly rated in Yelp and advertises $49 cleanouts. If I could give Tom 10 stars I would!! It's impossible to get same-day plumbing services from our local plumbers in San Dimas/Glendora. I first met Tom 5 years ago when we first moved to our house and were considering replacing our old electric wall ovens with gas ovens. He met me promptly at 7am to accommodate my work schedule. I secured 3 quotes and his was the best. In the end we didn't end up chaining our ovens. But I was so impressed with his knowledge and recommendations I added his info to my contacts. Fast forward a few years later and a kitchen remodel from hell. We had a terrible water leak with literally water GUSHING out of our sink. Despite the urgency, we couldn't get a local plumber to respond same-day. In haste, my husband I called many "plumbers" and unexpectedly double-booked Tom and another local rooter to come out immediately. We found out the other rooter was not a licensed plumber. Despite Tom's qualifications and being licensed, his price was better than the non-licensed rooter. When we re-piped our kitchen I knew I wanted a knowledgeable and licensed plumber. Tom did such a fantastic job. I wish I'd taken pictures of his work. I left him in our home while I ran errands and had no issues. When we connected our sink many weeks later we found a leak, he responded the same evening, found the leak, did major work, and didn't charge us for it. He also re-did some of the sink hookups a local handyman did - incorrectly. We are now planning our two bathroom re-piping and are definitely going with Tom! read more

We had a unexpected mainline drain issue that clogged all of our toilets and water was backing up into the showers and bathtubs. With a infant, toddler and 4 adults not having access to the toilet or water was quite stressful. Texted TC plumbing and Tom promptly called back - already being 6pm and his many jobs Tom and Steve arrived earlier than expected. Tom and Steve quickly diagnosed the issue and got to work. He actually walked me through the issue and what it may look like underground , he provided options of which one was a temporary one in which he can unclog the drains of roots and a more permanent solution of installing clean out drain to provide better access and a more throughly clean out. This is the 2nd time TC plumbing got our family out of a bind, they treat led us like how they wanted to be treated and I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. read more

Needed help with clogged shower drains on a Saturday. Called TC Plumbing but could not schedule till Monday. Had another company come in on Sunday to clear the drains, but was unsuccessful. Called Tom again on Sunday and scheduled for next day, Monday. Arrived at the scheduled time, took a look at the showers, explained what the problem was, and started to clear the drain. Water was draining in ten minutes. A reliable, honest and punctual person. Very hard to find these days. Highly recommended. No bull! read more

Tom is the very BEST!! He is honest, knowledgeable, caring, dependable and reliable. I took the day off to have my contractor repair a slab leak but he didn't show up as scheduled. Tom happened to be driving in my neighborhood for another appointment, and I spoke to him briefly. He said he was going to stop by when he was finished. To my surprise, Tom showed up at my house within two hours and he repaired the leak in an hour and a half. He was so thorough, efficient, and professional!! Can you believe it? Well we have been using Tom for the last 8 years, did all plumbing jobs and other handyman small jobs for us. He is not perfect but very satisfied with his work. He is a busy plumber and at times, we have to wait several days before it could reach us. In times of emergencies, he fixes and the problem and would schedule another day to complete the big job. He is no rip off artist, he'll tell you in advance if he can't do the job. We have tested him twice on the matter, first we wanted change our eves or facia boards infested with termites. He came and inspected it but recommended other alternatives to save us money. No need to change those eves since you're doing fumigation, what you need patch-up and repaint existing ones. Today, we had a swinging iron gate with lock problems. He explained us the problem, the middle hinge needed to weld, align the gate and it will close and lock neatly. He didn't attempt to do the job, referred us to iron gate repairs. If he is a con artist, he would not make any other suggestions. The fellow is busy, but prefers to please a customer by offering a better solution. read more
