7/5/26 (re-scheduled birthday from 5/30/26 from the chemical leak incident) My daughter attended a classmates birthday last year and fell in love with the skate rink. Even though she could barely move on the ice, even with walkers- she simply loved the atmosphere. She asked to celebrate her 8th birthday here last year, and we made the date official earlier this year. We originally planned to celebrate right after school for out in May but due to the chemical spill, we scheduled it closer to her actual birthday. I just wanted to say Shannon has been a God send with all the planning and footwork beforehand. She has been in constant communication leading up to my daughter's big day. She is a phenomenal person who is very kind and works way too hard. I greatly appreciate all your help planning all this to make such an incredible birthday for Tamsin. From the moment we walked into rink, she felt like a VIP. Even though Shannon could not make it that day, Kristin was super! She was super kind, patient and walked me through the process of guest check in. She was friendly to all our guests and was very professional. She ensured we had everything we needed even before we knew it. Napkins, plates and all the party necessities were on point. The coordination for the birthday announcement, personalized song list and VIP photo on the ice was done seamlessly. The food service was also fantastic. The cafe staff kept popping in to make sure we were good and made sure we had plates, napkins and utensils. There was a boo boo pizza and they remade the correct one free of charge. Pizza, cinnamon pretzels, and wings (outside food fee/prior auth required) made Everyone happy! All of our guests, adults and kids alike had a blast! Pretty solid experience! Rink is well maintained and they have fun dance/disco lighting during public skate. Just beware that if you go on days with kids birthday parties, it will be pretty crowded. The only thing for me is that it's so expensive just for 2 hours. If you go to the cafe, you HAVE to try the cinnamon pretzel bites. No joke they are better than Auntie Anne's or Wetzel's Pretzels in my opinion. read more

My son took skating lessons here a while back when this place was Westminster Ice. We recently made it back when he had a hockey tournament game a couple months ago. Other than some paint job, it pretty much looks the same since the Kings took it over and converted it to Ice Realm. During the game, the puck magically went out of play. It wasn't until my friend pointed out the open gap on the side of the board at center ice. Yo WTH is up with that? Like Yorba Linda, it was a former grocery store turned into a skating rink and both rinks are pretty crappy. This place has mold growing on the support beams which was very noticeable. If you are in this area, you are better off going to Lakewood Ice, Paramount Iceland or Anaheim Ice. read more

I can literally count how many times I've gone ice skating during my lifetime on one hand. And I've been to some really decent rinks--and then I've been to a super ghetto ice skating rink in the San Fernando valley (my last time skating in 2014), which makes this place look like a palace. Came here with family and had a blast, but was impressed by how well maintained the place is. I think this is also the first place I've been to where the skate rentals aren't ghetto and janky. They are actually like new condition and don't hurt my feet. You have the option of hockey or regular skates. I didn't know the diff. For n00bs you want the regular skates, so I went with that. Ice was smooth and the experience as awesome. No lockers, but they have a little cafe to buy hot chocolate. Parking is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Staff are all very nice. Can't really rate amenities like skate rentals, food, or workers because I came here at 9:50pm for a pick up game through puckhead hockey. I think there was one employee still working, but it was otherwise empty besides the pick up players. The rink feels a little bigger than a regular rink, I think it is an Olympic sized rink. Ice wasn't terrible, but there were some huge ruts in some parts of the ice. Locker rooms and benches were clean. I'm just glad Ice Realm took over and they didn't close another rink down. If you're trying to play some hockey, it's a pretty nice venue to get your hockey fix in. read more

There's a reason this is the cheapest rink around. The ice quality is consistently poor, and the management make the overall experience frustrating. Carly, who oversees scheduling, frequently changes game times without notice and fails to communicate updates to players. When approached with questions or concerns, she's dismissive and unwilling to discuss issues. It's disappointing because the players deserve better communication and professionalism. I'll be taking my business elsewhere -- it's worth paying a bit more for a rink with reliable staff, better organization, and ice that's actually maintained. read more

Not beginner friendly place at all Came here during open skate and there were hockey players taking up 80% or more of the ice doing practice with their coaches having whistles and all. You wanna skate hard and do some drills fine, not taking up whole ice and endangering others... Ended up hurting myself because hockey couldn't stay in their space. Not a hockey issue, management issue. The worst Skating experience I've had. read more

My grandson can't get enough of Ice Realm. The Learn to Skate classes are a great price for how much ice time you get, Staff is super friendly and always waves at my grandson. Feels like one big family when we go--and we go a lot to hang out. read more

My older son and youngest daughter both decided that they wanted separate life skating birthday parties. We wanted to check out Ice Realm to see the facility and check out pricing and such. Purchased a Groupon, arrived 15 minutes prior to open skate. I have 3 children, all whom have never skated before and needed to get 2 of the skate helper things that are made of PVC pipe and allow the skater to put weight on while learning. They informed me that all of theirs were already reserved for a birthday party. They said that they did have another option, but it's $18 instead of $10 and they would not honor the $10 price because that's just how much they are to rent. I was a little confused that they would allow a reservation for all of their skate helpers with nothing available to anyone else in the rink, and that they wouldn't even try to help, but force you to buy something else that was almost twice the price. The girl at the front said "well the birthday party is spending more money than you are, so they get priority". Yikes. Seems like a response to prevent repeat business. Not only should they be trying to make every paid customer happy, but little did they know, that I was prepared to place a deposit for two separate parties, dropping double the amount of money. Honestly, a horrible response from a young girl-child that should have no business operating your front desk and representing this company. Not only will I not be coming back for any open skate, but I also won't be booking any parties for any of my 3 children. Owners, please take notice of how customers are treated and how they represent your brand. No wonder this company is struggling and on Groupon to get business. Oh, and the coffee maker her stinks. We were here for a Kings tournament. The ice rink is on the smaller side. It is not a full NHL size rink. This may be good for younger kids, but it is harder on 16u+ who benefit from more room. The refs were pretty bad, and not even consistent within a single game. In the plus side, the pro shop is now open and you can get skates sharpened. The staff were friendly. Ice time prices looked expensive - $20 for a public skate session is mighty high. There is also a good donut shop and pizza place nearby. read more

We went on a weekday and pretty much had the ice to ourselves which was sooo fun and special. Really got to work on our skills like skating backwards and two foot spins without fear of crashing into some kid. The facility was clean and well kept. Also affordable! We just hosted our daughter's 7th birthday at Ice Realm with a group of 50 guests and everyone, both parents and kids, had a blast. Shannon, our party host, was a pro- she took care of almost everything from creating the party banner to set up and clean up to signing our guests in and helping us put in our food order. We were so impressed with the level of service and responsiveness; Shannon always made herself available for calls and we texted back and forth in the weeks leading up to the event. We also appreciated the small touches such as the mittens for our guests and allowing our daughter to put together her own playlist. First I k ow little about hockey but what I do know is paying for lessons doesn't mean you pay a lot to learn little or pay little and learn even less. When you pay you want to see results. Week I am here to tell you after two lesson I have seen results in my grandson that tells me this place cares. Great sevice even better coaches. The skates were very difficult to tighten and extremely uncomfortable. Also the skate assist racks were all small. Did they not have any larger ones. My 4-6 yr olds were ok. But my others had to hunch over to use. Not a very good selection for snacks. Plus one guy to monitor store and skates was a long wait for things. read more

I haven't been to this rink since it has undergone new ownership, but we decided to have my daughter's birthday party there last night. Shannon was so kind and helpful in coordinating the party and making sure everything went smoothly, all the waivers were signed, and that the party room was ready and beautiful. I usually go to Lake Ice but heard this rink reopened under new management. Went in to see if they could cut my daughter's skate guards which I got off Amazon. Shannon and Drew were so super helpful and took the time to figure out how to get it on. I really appreciate how kind they were to do this for us. I went ahead and got the skates sharpened as well.
