My son took skating lessons here a while back when this place was Westminster Ice. We recently made it back when he had a hockey tournament game a couple months ago. Other than some paint job, it pretty much looks the same since the Kings took it over and converted it to Ice Realm. During the game, the puck magically went out of play. It wasn't until my friend pointed out the open gap on the side of the board at center ice. Yo WTH is up with that? Like Yorba Linda, it was a former grocery store turned into a skating rink and both rinks are pretty crappy. This place has mold growing on the support beams which was very noticeable. If you are in this area, you are better off going to Lakewood Ice, Paramount Iceland or Anaheim Ice.

Can't really rate amenities like skate rentals, food, or workers because I came here at 9:50pm for a pick up game through puckhead hockey. I think there was one employee still working, but it was otherwise empty besides the pick up players. The rink feels a little bigger than a regular rink, I think it is an Olympic sized rink. Ice wasn't terrible, but there were some huge ruts in some parts of the ice. Locker rooms and benches were clean. I'm just glad Ice Realm took over and they didn't close another rink down. If you're trying to play some hockey, it's a pretty nice venue to get your hockey fix in.

    Ice Skating fun!

My family has a lot of fun here. It's very affordable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My Granddaughters love it!

A must visit is the new Frostbite lounge. Dave is a master behind the counter, cooking up masterpieces * Dave's special menu, just ask for a 'Dave sandwich special'. He will ask a few questions and let him cook . * Beer and Hockey is a must.

Great rink! The coaches are absolutely fantastic with the kids and the recently opened restaurant is delicious and extremely affordable.

Machine dispensed 1/2 cup of coffee.

Pads, sticks, sizing, what's required, pricing, what's optional, I was overwhelmed before I even walked in. At this point I've been here a few times and I'm quickly becoming a regular. My very first visit was with Ethan, and I hoped I'd run into him again. I was so relieved when I did. He walked my son and I through the entire store, helped size my kiddo properly, explained what everything was for, and answered all of my many mom questions without ever making me feel silly for asking. We were actually the last ones in the store right before closing, and not once did I feel rushed or pressured. As a mom trying to make sure her kid has what he needs (without buying the wrong thing), that meant so much. I felt supported and accommodated during what can honestly be a stressful process. I hate seeing negative reviews. Yes, the staff is young, but they are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They take their time with you. They don't rush through fittings just to move on to the next person. So, if there's a bit of a wait, it's probably because they're giving another family the same care they gave mine, and I truly don't mind that at all. The staff here is wonderful. But Ethan is our favorite. We always hope he's there when we come in.

This place is small and doesn't have a big selection of models or sizes to try on, so you are at their mercy to size you child correctly and then have to wait for special orders to arrive. They sized my daughter at a 6 1/2 wide and recommended Jackson skates telling me there was no other option since her feet are wide. So, we listened to them, and bought the special thinner socks they recommended. My daughter put them on, on her birthday and immediately face planted on the ice multiple times, tripping over her own feet, which had never happened before. Crossovers were suddenly very difficult for her to do, as she was tripping over her own feet. She kept trying because she was told you have to break them in, but she was miserable. You could see the joy had left her face. Skating had become a chore. She was begging to take them off after, 5, 10, 20 minutes of use. Almost in tears because her feet hurt. Trying to get out of lessons and public skate sessions. Meanwhile, my son was also ready for his first pair of hockey skates. So, we had the same shop, USA Skates, size him. A young lady with straight brown hair sized him at a 6 in Bauer. The owner, Bruce, said Bauer's run big, put him in a 5. They brought out two pairs for my son to try on, and he told them that they hurt. So then they had him try on a 6. He said they still weren't comfortable. We told them we would think about it, and drove over to another local skate shop. They had a machine, that he could step on and it would measure your foot. This other store sized my son at a 7 1/2, fit 3 for the same brand of hockey skates. No where near a size 5. My son was amazed at the difference and was so excited to get a pair there, and has been excelling and enjoying skating at a whole new level. An experience I wish I could say was the same for my daughter. We went back to USA Skates, and explained what was happening with my daughter and asked if she could exchange them for a different brand or size, and was told no. They said she just has to keep breaking them in, and did some punches on the inside of the boot, which made no difference. It's been a month of wearing them 2-3x per week. Her feet are bright red, they hurt, she doesn't want to skate now. She has red marks on her toes, heal, arch, and the top of her foot. Her toes are literally curling in the boot that wasn't sized properly. If you take the insert out of the skate you can literally see the imprint of her toes being crammed into the very tip of the boot. After this happened, I started asking my kids instructors, one of the Rinks managers, and other parents for advice about how to help my daughter get through the breaking in period, and explained the situation. Which is when I found out that this happens quite often with USA Skates. They also said it sounded like more of a proper fit issue vs a breaking in period. I was told they should be stiff, but it shouldn't hurt. She shouldn't be to the point of tears. Out of curiosity, I took her to a different pro shop, and asked them to size her, a month after she got her pair from USA Skates, and her feet haven't grown yet, same size shoes. They said she would need a 7 - 7 1/2W in Jackson, and had her try on a pair. They also mentioned sizing up a half size to give her feet room to grow since she isn't fully grown yet. Much better fit. When I asked this shop, if there were any other brands my daughter could try on that have wide options, they said of course Edea also comes in wide sizes too. She tried on a pair and absolutely fell in love and begged for this brand instead. Not only was it much more comfortable width and length wise, the heel height wasn't as high, which I think might also be part of the problem. Now I have to buy two pairs of very expensive skates in less than a month, but I will gladly do so in order to see the joy and love for skating return to my daughter's face. This has been such a frustrating experience, and on her birthday no less. I no longer trust Bruce the owner. I will never go back here. Two different shops have now sized both of my kids very differently than USA Skates did. He also doesn't back his products, the customer service is very poor, and they do not allow exchanges. They also lied about Jackson being the only option for figure skaters with wide feet. They aren't, and they actually sell both brands. My personal feeling is that he purposely sells families with kids who are still growing skates that are too small so that they have to buy a bigger size more often than necessary to get more business. Which won't encourage a love for the sport, in fact it will likely do the opposite, and encourage kids to quit the sport due to pain and improper shoe sizing. Do not buy skates here! They don't stand behind their products, and sizing isn't accurate.
