Great store. Clean. Delicious. However, rudest, nastiest server I've ever encountered.

I recently visited the TCBY in Dripping Springs and was impressed - well stocked, very clean, and very friendly staff, especially Elyse and Datiya!

I've visited the new Garbo's location twice now since it's a bit closer to me than the original…read morespot on Parker and I have to say they've done a great job with both the interior and the service. They kept the nautical theme throughout the restaurant, which you really notice from the bar area where I sat. Service was friendly and very attentive even on a slow Sunday although though I'm guessing this location might be more of a dinner spot. There's plenty of seating both downstairs and upstairs, which makes it a good option for larger groups. As for the food I went with the Connecticut-style lobster roll since it was a warm afternoon, but the menu offers a solid variety of seafood and non-seafood options along with some delicious desserts like the key lime pie which I also got to try. Prices are definitely on the higher side as expected with quality seafood, but I had a coupon that helped offset the cost. I can't say I'd come here regularly because of the price point, but if I'm in the area and craving seafood this would easily be my go-to place.

The mini lobster roll is embarrassing. $14 for a literal "bite" of lobster. Overhyped and overpriced (Of course, what was I expecting from an "Austin, Texas Lobster Roll" restaurant??!!)

My family and I decided to pick up some Amy's ice cream for a birthday celebration. My husband…read moreparked and we walked in. They were very busy at the time and there was a line. I only saw one person working which would explain the wait. The interior is very bright with color and fun T-shirts hanging from the ceiling. There were also other places where they had merchandise that you could purchase. There are several places to sit but it is not a very big space. The man working behind the counter did a good job getting people their orders. When it was our turn to order it went quickly. We paid and then left. We got a small cup of Big Red Ice Cream, and a Amy's Tiny Chocolate Delight Ice Cream Cake. The Big Red Ice Cream was good. It was creamy and you could taste a hint of the Big Red flavor. The Chocolate Delight Ice Cream Cake had a strong Chocolate flavor and was super sweet. I could only eat a little bit of it but my son loved it. You do have to leave the Tiny Ice Cream Cake out at room temperature for about 15 minutes before you can cut into it. Overall it was a cool place to go and get some ice cream with different options but the wait can possibly be long depending on the time of day and the number of people working.

He ended up with a shake, my husband ice cream with a topping and me only ice cream. It is expensive but it is a rare treat. Store was super clean probably because it is brand new. I had a fussy 10mo and needed something to do inside as it's very cold. We've never been to Almost Grown and it seemed like a good way for my kid to let off steam. This is a very cute cafe and ice cream shop with a play place in the back. It's a $10 admission per child, parents get in free. The admission here is $8 less than Pikopye's and you're able to just walk in. Love that. As some yelpers have mentioned, it is a bit chaotic as there are so many toys around. There are lots of tables to sit and eat at within the play area. There are different play areas such as a doctor's office set up complete with little scrubs, hats, and stethoscopes. There's a firefighting area with fire fighter gear. As well as a farmer's market area with tons of toy produce. All the toys from each play area are scattered amongst the entire play room. I'm kind of wondering how often they sanitize all the toys/costumes/tables etc. as there are a lot of kids with runny noses here. Overall it's a good place for kids to come and socialize/burn some energy.

Luckily for her, Austin has no shortage of great ice cream shops to visit when she's in town. Since we were already in the area, I told her we had to try Manolis, which had been on my list for months. Located at a food truck park near Dripping Springs, Manolis stands out immediately as a massive truck at the front. Ordering is done on iPads while you wait in line, and you pick up at the window. I ordered a small of their stracciatella, while my girlfriend got a small waffle cone of the dulce de leche. Simply put, it was amazing. The flavors were strong without being too sweet or over the top, and I was extremely impressed. This knocks a lot of ice cream shops out of the water, and they're just a food truck. I would genuinely go out of my way to get ice cream here. That's how good it is. I'm glad I made the trip out to Manolis, and it was worth every minute of my 45 minute drive back home because it was GAS. Moved like prime Vince Carter because it's too smooth.
