    Texas bread pudding with cappuccinos
    Scott B.

This is an upscale restaurant on the premises of camp Lucy, a resort destination just outside of Dripping Springs. Beautiful properties and the restaurant itself is a Vietnamese courthouse deconstructed piece by piece and reconstructed piece by piece here on site. Service was good, food was excellent. My wife's fillet was perfectly cooked and one of the better fillets we've had. The mashed potatoes were on a different level - wow! I enjoyed my pasta and pecorino cheese dish. The Texas bread pudding was masterful.

Upscale restaurant sith elevated American/French style dishes. We had the Tillie's Wedge salad that was tasty and Portobello Frites. Portobello Frites were made with portobello into fries shape with tempura batter - so decadent and flavorful. Mushrooms never tasted so good lol. Their chicken breast main was a bit of let down as mine was done too dry. and the sauce didnt make the dish pop out enough. My husband also didnt like his ribs too much - it was ok but not spectacular. Service was good and friendly. The interior of course is a highlight and unique compared to a standard restaurant. They have very nice grounds at Camp Lucy and a good spot to check out.

We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance! It was peaceful but beautiful, The woodwork was amazing and the history even more amazing! Food was very good but service was very slow.

Resting inside Camp Lucy is this gem of a restaurant. It's an old renovated church and the decor pays reverence to the origins. It's best to have reservations and be sure to take advantage of the happy hour given it's a higher end restaurant with the expected higher prices. Our drinks were great and we had the crab cakes, chicken bites and focaccia bread, all were delicious and expertly plated. This was a surprise pop in for us when we were taking a day trip to Austin one day. We were lucky to get seats at the bar this which was amazing given I was approaching hangry town. They have adorable resident alpacas as an added bonus! Definitely a great place for a splurge meal.

The food was delicious. The service impeccable. The atmosphere stunning! Our server went out of his way to make my birthday celebration memorable! I appreciate him.

An amazing restaurant located on beautiful grounds in Dripping Springs! This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants I've been to it's hard to capture it you just have to go. And make sure to stop and say hi to some friendly alpacas on your way in. Even though we were late they still seated us which I appreciate and the menu was a very straightforward brunch menu. I opted for the standard breakfast(minus the eggs) which was delicious. The jam that came with the toast was actually so good and I enjoyed the lavender latte I got. Overall, the food was delicious but I think you'll be more wowed by the ambiance and grounds of the restaurant.

Tucked away in dripping springs, tillies offers the most beautiful dining experience and incredible food. We went for brunch and loved everything we ordered. I look forward to coming back during dinner.

Tillie's, cute spot. Love the alpacas, entrance, restaurant decor, and gift shop. Staff is usually very kind and welcoming. Food is back and forth for me. Some days good, great, others cold, meh. We definitely enjoy coming out here and trying their different menus, keeps it interesting and never the same.

Very hill country view. It's a restaurant inside of a hotel. Most times, they host wedding event. Lunch menu is very boring and dinner menu is much better. They have a vineyard nearby.

Tillie's will forever hold a place in my heart, we celebrated getting engaged at camp lucy and grabbed dinner at Tillie's right after. The service was amazing and we got 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate. the details, the ambiance and the overall experience was one for the books. they also have alpacas outside the restaurant that you can feed!

Finally had the chance to try Tillie's! I was thrilled to see llamas on the property when I arrived--such a fun touch. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning. I'd say the entrées were outstanding, but the appetizers and drinks could use some improvement. We started with the Caesar salad, jumbo crab cake, and housemade focaccia. I only wish the focaccia had been served warm. My cocktail, unfortunately, was unbalanced and tasted mostly of alcohol. For mains, we ordered the mero sea bass, oak-fired short rib, and Texas pork chop. Each dish was beautifully presented and truly delicious. Overall, this spot is perfect for a date or a celebration!

Beautiful location and unique ambiance define the dining experience here. The dining area looks like it was build off the structure of a temple- maybe relocated like the church at Camp Lucy? Ample parking, and lovely service. Food was good! We ordered the Halibut Seafood Benedict, Brisket Hash, and a cinnamon roll. Everything we tried exceeded expectations- highly recommend all three dishes.

Cinnamon roll was massive! Good enough to share!

I wished I lived closer for Tillie's amazing brunch!it is a bit far but the drive isn't too bad from Austin. The restaurant is in the beautiful Camp Lucy. The interior decor is like no other restaurant that I have been to. The brunch was delicious we made a mistake of ordering the cinnamon roll as a starter since it was listed as one. We felt like we're adults and can have dessert first if we wanted to! The issue is it's massive and will fill you up. For the entree we got the seafood Benedict and brisket hash both yummy but the hash was slightly better. The Benedict is more of a croquette rather than a traditional English muffin. The service was great and appreciate the small gesture to celebrate my wife's bday!

    Ask the Community - Tillie's

Is there outdoor seating for drinks or is it just the inside bar area? Thanks 😊

    There is outdoor seating!

    Do you offer gift cards?

We sure do. You can purchase a gift card at the host stand upon your next visit or by calling the restaurant at 512-894-2633.

This place looks absolutely gorgeous! Is it toddler friendly?

Kelsi, thank you for the kind words. Yes, we welcome all guests. To view our menus, you can visit our website, www.tilliesdripingsprings.com…

What does the vegetarian fare look like apart from salads? I have at least 3 members in my family who are vegetarian but can eat egg and I would love to bring them here for a birthday dinner

Hi there, we pride ourselves on crafting creative and delicious options for all guests. Our menu is seasonal and evolving often, however we will always offer many vegetarian entree and appetizer options. You can always view the most up-to-date…

What is appropriate attire for evening dining?

Hi there, whatever you feel comfortable and confident in! Guests tend to err on the side of business casual. We look forward to having you as our guests.

Would this be an okay place to bring a 4 month old for lunch?

You bet !! It's a family friendly wedding venue with a lot of outdoor gardens and walkways.

Is there a bar you can sit at it, if you aren't having lunch or dinner reservations, to have a drink?

Tillie's does have a bartop with 7-8 chairs for seating. There is also a small lounge with couches and other seating off to the side of the bartop and dining room. You are free to order a drink from the bar without a reservation or intention to…

    How much is the brunch?

Our brunch service is $22 for adults and $12 for children. The items on our brunch menu, as well as the current prices, can be found at https://tilliesdrippingsprings.com/brunch. We hope you join us this weekend, Emily!

Is there availability of a separate room to reserve for a few hours for about 15-20 people?

It's one large room except for the pool area outside that has tables. Perhaps that would work as long as it's cool outside.

We were so impressed we spoke with the Owner and the Chef. We went back for the following New Year's Eve. The food was undercooked and service was horrible. We found out the Chef was not there. We took it as an "Oh well, we will try again!" Two years later we made reservations for our anniversary last night. The restaurant was packed. We were given a 2 top table in the corner where fir some reason the air conditioner was blowing directly on us! By the way it was 49 degrees outside. We mentioned this to our waitress who replied with a shrug. We ordered. I ordered the strawberry feta salad and the off menu appetizer. My husband ordered the lasagna with a salad. My salad was superb! The appetizer that I was having as my entree and my husband's meal finally came out. His dinner was plated horribly!! The lasagna was warm ( not hot) and the salad was in the plate so when he added dressing it ran into the lasagna. My crawfish crab cake was a joke. It literally had two pieces of chopped crawfish in it. The main dish was the tomatoes and basil for $26. Never did our waitress say that the appetizer was quite small and I probably should not order it as a small entree. Oh well, we have learned. Obviously the restaurant stays busy and I congratulate them on what is being done right!

But there are a few tables and bar counter that you can dine in. We ordered a bit of food- 1. Half roasted chicken 2. Hot wings 3. Roasted Beets 4. Kale side salad 5. Fun selection of NE brand beers! Yes they have wine and unique beer selection there! The roasted chicken was definitely brined- it was super juicy and the chimichurri and salsa complimented it wonderfully. It was explained to me the chicken were free range and how they are raised humanely, reminded me of an episode in a tv series- Portlandia that made me chuckle. The hot wings...
