We stop at the front porch 1-2x each visit to Navarre Beach. Food is superb. Service is phenomenal. Sitting outside makes our large group feel together. You can sit inside with same quaint atmosphere as outside.

Decent food, unhygienic establishment, poor service. More of a dive bar vibe. I called beforehand to ask if the restaurant had covered outdoor seating as it was on and off raining and we had a dog. The women who answered, who I believe is the bartender as she was the one answering the phones when we eventually ate at the bar, answered with unnecessary sass. It was a Saturday evening; they were moderately busy. We had to wipe down the bar ourselves since it was so messy. The couple that came in after us had to do the same. As we were waiting to be served, we witnessed the bartender be standoffish to a woman who was picking up a large to go order. The kitchen missed part of the order and the bartender was rather rude, acted like it was a major hinderance to correct the mistake the kitchen made. Didn't apologize or anything. I had a beer, my mom had a "margarita". I put that in quotations because they don't serve liquor. They serve wine based liquors, which must be a work around to avoid having to get an actually liquor license. Awful drink. She had two sips and couldn't stomach it anymore. Tasted like straight sour mix. Our food was decent. I got the combination platter with blackened mahi and grilled shrimp. Mahi was dry. Grilled shrimp was good. Sweet potato fries were okay, nothing special. Plastic utensils. My moms food, alligator gumbo and lobster quesadilla, was okay. Alligator gumbo didn't come with rice, as shown in original picture. Lobster quesadilla had maybe 4 pieces of lobster in it. My mom ordered the loaded fries instead; hard to mess up fries covered in cheese and bacon. Nothing special there. During my meal I placed my empty water cup by the edge of the bar for a refill. After 10 minutes I finally had to ask the bartender directly for a refill; should be a common sense thing to refill and empty water cup in the middle of someone's meal. She grabbed my cup by sticking her finger directly into my cup. Disgusting. Wouldn't come back. With how gross the bar was and the hygiene habits of the staff directly in front of me, I don't want to know what goes on behind closed doors. I know it's a dive bar, but it doesn't have to be unhygienic or poor service.

Service is great at TC's. Tammy behind the bar will make sure you're taken care of. They have great Gumbo and burgers, and their Cuban is good too. I missed their breakfast (last order is at 1045) but it looks good. A little divey but it's my kind of place. Overall a good spot to stop in for.

Visiting Navarre for the first time for Mothers Day week. One of the visiting residents in the Airbnb wheee we stayed recommended this and we give it a 10/10! Not just for the food but the service matched which is NOT ALWAYS A GIVEN. We came back every single day and it was worth every trip. This business will remain in my top categories for places to return because of the service we received. You can dine outdoors or inside. Be prepared for the other guests (birds) who are also frequenting this business as well. We also met some of the most amazing people each visit.

My only time out for breakfast on vacation. TC's seemed to be a popular place so we stopped in. We chose seats at the bar. The menu was pretty simple, nothing out of the ordinary in their offerings. We ordered basic breakfast dishes (eggs, home fries, sausage and toast. Everything was just ok, I certainly wouldn't make a point of stopping again. I ordered a grapefruit mimosa with my breakfast and it was pretty pitiful, it was a half full plastic cup. Maybe they should use smaller cups or charge more for a full cup? They also have seating out front. Our server was very pleasant and friendly.

We got into Navarre in the late morning and were unable to check into our room. Starving after flying all night, we stopped by TC's to grab a bite. We were initially disappointed that breakfast was no longer being served and lunch was still about 45 minutes out, but we decided to wait it out. We didn't care what was being served honestly, we were just really hungry. Definitely a locals spot, which we really liked. We ordered beverages and about 15-20 minutes later were able to order lunch. Blackened Mahi-mahi tacos and a Club sandwich... we were pretty pleased with both. The only downside to the tacos were they were entirely too wet. Not just a drip or two of liquid from the slaw and salsa, but literal steady stream coming off the back end. I had to put several napkins in my basket to soak it up, so it didn't sog the rest of my food. Husband loved the Club and appreciated that the toasted bread was still semi soft and didn't tear up the roof of his mouth. Overall, good experience and will give them a go next time we are in town.

I read the reviews and I was a little nervous about eating here. But I am so glad I decided to make the decision to. It is a really cute, open air restaurant. We went for breakfast around 8, and found a table with ease. It was not to crowded yet. Though there was a small wait by the time we left. We had a party of 5. The breakfast burrito is definitely worth trying. My favorite was the EBLT and hash browns with cheese. It was a really big portion. I could only eat half! My husband licked his plate of all the corned beef hash. We had a great Bloody Mary and cranberry mimosas. Service was attentive and friendly. Absolutely recommend. read more

We must be hitting these restaurants on the right night, at the right time, with the right wait-staff because this was another great quick dinner choice. Tatia, our serve was sweet, attentive, very courteous, and efficient. The food was good. The grilled mahimahi tacos were served with cilantro-lime slaw, mango salsa, and (a bit heavy-handed) Chipotle sour cream in single flour tortillas, not double as one usually finds. The side was house-made very thin, crispy tortilla chips and mild tomato salsa. Kudos on the chips. My entree was a bit unusual, a grilled, flaky, fileted Grouper served as a Reuben, combined with a bit of sauerrkraut, thousand island dressing, and Swiss cheese on marbled rye. The bread got a bit soggy, but the flavors were surprisingly good. The sauerkraut did not overpower the sweet and moist fish. The side of fries were ok...hot and crispy. But they had a slight "oily" flavor to start, yet finished with a solid potato taste. Our server confirmed that they were prepared from frozen...no surprise here. Decent prices and the only drawback was the constant drone and sometimes roar of trucks and motorcycles racing up and down 98. I'll be back to try breakfast ASAP.BTW...if you are staying in one of the local motels, check on discounts...we got 10% on our meal by showing our room key. read more

Horrible experience, came here for the first time to try out their food with my husband, as we walked in we were greeted and told to sit anywhere and once we found a spot she handed us a menu. After we sat down , we were waiting around 10 minutes or so for someone to come and ask for our drink order, eventually someone took our orders and my husband got the fish Po boy and I had the fish basket with okra and fries. We also ordered the lobster nachos which were good. When they had brought out my husbands food it looked great, and then a different server sat a plate full of shrimp right in from of me and said "is there anything else I can get for you guys" I said no! I'm deadly allergic to shrimp so she left and then another waitress came out and said that they had tooken my order to a different table , that restaurant is not that big at all for y'all to fuck up tables like that. Anyways , so she took it back and when they had came out with my normal order it was missing the sides I wanted . Whoever the owner is needs to do better with his service and his employees. I could of had a horrible allergic reaction because your employees messed up, Also the waitress Blamed all those problems on shift change read more

Yummy! I came early morning to get breakfast takeout from the location and it was so quaint and cute. Love the open and airy bar feel to the place. I ordered the lobster omelet that also was paired with home fries and a biscuit. Pretty good and a big portion. read more

About 6 months ago I called ahead and asked about their hours for brunch and was told, brunch was until 11:00am. When we arrived at 10:440, this young lady said that brunch was over and that the kitchen needed 15 minutes, from 10:45-11:00, to get ready for lunch. I drove 35 minutes to go there and when I was told that, I was obviously unhappy. When I said something to the young lady, she got an attitude with me and walked away. We decided to stay and were sat down. Still a little disappointed about their miscommunication and lack of taking responsibility, my guest and I continued to talk about what just happened, when, that young ladies mother walked to our table and aid, "You can leave and to basically shut up"! I told her she was rude and that I could say anything I wanted to. Not according to her though. She continued to say that she wouldn't tolerate me talking about it any longer. We decided to leave! That behavior by both of them is unacceptable in the service industry and both of them should find another line of work or grow some thicker skin! read more

This is a cool little place located right at the causeway bridge making it convenient to the beach area. The menu had a lot of variety and was able to satisfy everyone in our group. I had the breakfast biscuit with a side of grits. The biscuit was soft and fresh. The grits are something I would pass on. In the group we also had the breakfast burrito, the monte cristo, and the hot mess. Everyone really enjoyed the home fries so definitely go for those. Overall a good spot to grab a good breakfast before a day at the beach. read more

We had the most fantastic lunch to start our vacation. I highly recommend the peel and eat shrimp, our 4 year old daughter even enjoyed it. The mahi-mahi tacos were fresh and fabulous. Try the cranberry mimosa... you will not be disappointed. read more

We've been here a couple of times on vacation and I enjoy it. My mom is pretty picky so she gives it a 3. The breakfast game is not as strong as their lunch. I will continue to make this a stop when I'm in town for tasty seafood lunch dishes. read more

If your a Navarre beach local, This is the place to bring your family. I will recommend their crabcakes as well as thier Ruben sandwich! The staff is always on point in the experience is always warm and welcoming. The bartenders know how to make you feel like your at home. I myself have had plenty of conversations with the staff there and its always a great time. You can tell when a place is run by good manager. A solid three. The place is a little "divey" but that's ok. The food was just ok. I got the alligator. It was tough & not worth the price. We try to keep it local when we travel, but there are franchise options in town that are better than this. read more

Little hole in the wall joint on 98 that is more of a bar than a restaurant but it serves amazing food. It's right across from the bay and allows for a great view. They do allow smoking outside, so keep that in mind with kids. Service was on point and that's saying something considering you seat yourself. The food was hot and delicious. Yikes, this place has so many recommendations. Looks so cute from the outside. I'm sorry to say the menu and food quality was not for me. I live on the same block so I was hoping it was going to be my new go to place. Tried several times but the service was meh and the food as well. I'd rather cook at home. The Cuban sand-which wasn't even a Cuban sandwich. It was literally a ham and cheese sandwich with a pickle slapped on it. The fish tacos were soggy and bland. Over all just bad food experience and wouldn't recommend at all. read more

It was lunch time and this place was packed. Parking is of a minimum and the surrounding businesses had signs posted that they didn't allow parking for TC's. We finally saw someone leaving and grabbed a park. Go early or late is my advice. They have daily lunch specials and we ordered the fish sandwich. I posted a photo. It was so good. This place is tucked in with inside and outside seating plus a large bar where we sat. The servers were friendly, the food came out fast. read more

Have been there a few times. Fish n chips and blackened shrimp are my two favorites. Very tasty. Staff is very friendly. The vibe is relaxed layed back. Prices are pretty decent for the great food and portions you get. read more

Visited this place with my family while on vacation during dinner/evening time. This is a place that if you don't look closely at ANYTHING-cleanliness, F&B health regulations, etc., then you'll be fine. I got out to ask if they had availability for 6, the bartender was super nice and said it was FCFS, a few tables were dirty tho. No biggie. I go get the fam, as we're coming back, we're told(quite rudely) by another server/runner that it would be 45 min. I told her what nice bartender guy said, and she waved us through, and he cleans a table for us. Our server was a sweet girl, who did explain that it was taking 45 min for food to come out. We ordered drinks, put our food order in, and waited. Food didn't seem to take that long, and when it came out, it was so good! Only complaint was my and my aunt's sweet potato fries were luke warm, and the coleslaw wasn't good, but our seafood was freshly fried. We all had similar dishes: blackened shrimp, fried shrimp, mahi mahi, fries and coleslaw. We enjoyed our server and her service so much that we came back two days later-this time, during the day. Service wasn't the same. We were ignored for at least 6 minutes-no water, no 'I'll be right there,' nothing. It was sweltering in there and for some reason, all the other fans were on, but ours. We ordered similar items again, food was still good, we just didn't look closely at anything around us lol. read more

We stopped here when our hotel room wasn't ready and we had come in from a red eye flight. The biscuits and gravy my husband ordered were delicious and my lobster omlette was just what I was looking for in a good breakfast. Our brunch was a great value, served fresh with a smile. We also enjoyed the mimosas and the relaxing vibe the place had. I recommend TC's Front Porch if you're looking for a quintessential Florida panhandle bar/diner experience. The patrons were friendly and so were the staff! Next time we're back in town we'll stop here for sure! read more

My friends here at Town Center's front porch (T. C. 's) is a must have for your relaxing morning feasting~it was magnificent friendly service with a delicious finish of breaking my fast! I had an exquisite Lobster omelet for take out~and the servers were all super friendly! You won't be disappointed eating at this delicious open dining establishment :) read more

I ordered wings and a salad for take out. Wings were good and the salad was surprisingly fresh with no wilted or yucky veggies. Y'all know how restaurant salads have been lately...simply gross! I ordered over the phone and the guy that took my order was friendly. You could tell they were busy but he rushed me off the phone in the kindest way. Pick up was easy. A smiling server showed me my order and ensured my food was correct. Good food, awesome customer service!! 4 stars because I only did take out. read more

Nice service, good food. We liked that we could eat outside (sun or shade available). A bit of a dive but it was exactly what we were looking for after leaving the beach! Good food, cold sweet tea and an informal meal! We ate a Po' Boy and fish tacos. Super yummy. read more

History

Established in 2007.

The oldest Commercial building in Navarre, The Double G gas station, had been part of Navarre history for over 60 years. Having a vision for the future of Navarre, I knew there had to be a better fit for this prime location.. An Outdoor Cafe.. preserving the original building as the kitchen for this quaint neighborhood restaurant. The canopy was built very solid; it has survived Hurricanes Opal, Ivan and others in between. The vision for the Navarre Town Center has been in place, so what better name than TC's Front Porch, truly the front porch of Navarre's Town Center. So, we hope you'll come in and enjoy cold drinks and good meals while watching the world go by, sitting on the front porch. Our team members all have the same goals in mind, to keep improving our menu and service as we go along. Meet the Business Owner: Robert B.

Considering myself a visionary, I felt that there had to be a better business venue for this perfect location. That's when I realized, that the gas tanks were above ground, takin note that a change within reason could happen. While Chatting with others, an idea had suddenly emerged! An outdoor café with the building serving as the kitchen was a real possibility. The canopy we chose to cover the dining area had been built very solid. It survived hurricanes, Opal and Ivan, and all the others in between. And now here we are! What more could we possibly do to enhance this location and the many benefits this area has to offer? The citizens had already designed their vision for the lands behind us, known as the Navarre Town Center. Therefore, there was no better name than TC's Front Porch! It truly is the front porch of Navarre's Town Center. Even now, as the commissioners are planning the public parking area, this area is sure to grow even more! thank you very much for visiting us
