I've been coming to T'Dori's for over 10 years, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I've had. We ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Chicken Salad Wrap, Mini Tacos, and a Chicken Parm Sandwich. Both wraps were very stale, lacking in ingredients and flavor, and noticeably small in portion size. The Chicken Parm Sandwich also had stale bread -- I ended up just eating the cutlet and leaving the rest. The Mini Tacos were another letdown. They were mostly chips with barely any filling --.As for the fries, they were undercooked and soft. Have they changed the fries recently? They used to be much better. The only highlight of the visit was the friendly staff at the front. It's disappointing to see the quality slip so much at a place I've supported for so long. I used this place to cater my boyfriend's 50th birthday social, and they did not disappoint!! The pickup was on time and nicely packed. I ordered the package for 15 people and chose chicken Parmesan, penne rosa, wraps(just turkey and chicken salad), and garden salad. It came with rolls and utensils for serving. Staff were very nice and friendly and offered to help take to my car. My guests loved everything and so did I. The chicken salad wraps were a hit. If you think you may have leftover wraps ask to omit the tomatoes or for it to be on the side, as the wraps may become soggy after a day. This would feed more than 15 people. All came to under $200 which was fantastic!! I will definitely get catering from here again. read more

Unfortunately, I had to create a Yelp account to chime in on how disappointing T'Dori's is now, and hope that folks read these recent reviews before giving them their money. My family has been customers of T'Dori since approx. 2015. They have catered many events and every Christmas Eve get together we have had for that long with no issue and completely enjoyment. The food was always amazing, service was always friendly and the owner was always there with a smile for everyone and would personally load up your car with your orders. When I made our order for this year, I was sad to see the prices had went up but that's the normal now and knowing how many folks a full pan could feed, I placed my order. To be delivered during a time window yesterday that was perfectly acceptable since someone would be here all day. First (yes. first) delivery driver came and I asked if this was everything and she said yes. After unpacking it all in the kitchen we were missing some items. I called the restaurant and explained what happened and the (she claimed) manager told me it was packed. I politely said it may have been but it wasn't given to me during the delivery. She then said I never ordered those items. Again, I corrected her and she flippantly said she'd send the driver back. That was helpful for us and while I tipped the (first) driver generously I was planning on doing so again because it wasn't their fault. Second (different) driver arrives. Allegedly. I say allegedly because no one rang the bell, knocked, called or otherwise made themselves known. No one dropped off the missing items for us to even grab. When guests started to arrive and our missing pans etc were still not there I called again, Same irritated nasty girl starts to berate me for not answering the door. I said no one arrived. She said he* did and no one answered. (first driver was female) Again, the gaslighting was insane. We have a ring camera and I checked it!!! When I told her I had a camera she got super belligerent and said she'd refund me for the missing items. I said I had 25 people here and needed the items. I did something I never do - I asked to speak to the owner by name since it was at that point that I realized he's usually the one handling the phones on Christmas Eve. Well, I was told the restaurant is under new ownership. We had no idea but it explained alot. I conceded to the refund because after this new information I was PANICKED over the food quality vs. original ownership. Italian dishes were just as good as ever, but the pans were light. Meatballs, Eggplant and Chickem Parm pans used to feed 40 people. They barely had 25 pieces per full pan. Mind you, the prices were considerably more than last year. The Roast Beef was different than past years. It was cheap rubbery deli slices instead of carved RB. Gravy was watery and leaked all over the place. Potato Salad was incredibly bland, the onions were huge and the ratio of potatoes to onions were just about equal instead of having onions to taste. All in all an awful experience and the end of a very long era with T'Dori. By the looks of it, we're not the only ones. read more

Excellent food! I brought the "family pack" to Sunday dinner and everyone loved it. The meal easily feeds 5 people with plenty of left overs as well as being reasonably priced. I highly recommend T'Dori's restaurant to anyone that is looking for a delicious meal to serve on those days when time doesn't permit for a home cooked meal. read more

I've only been to T'Dori a handful of times, but I'm always willing to come back. This is one of those times I wish yelp had a half star option, because I think this is a 3.5 star place. The staff were friendly and most importantly accurate. That's very important to me. There is a hoagie shop close by to this place that never heard of the term accurate and they are only consistent in getting things wrong... Anyways, I of course went with the tuna hoagie. Again... We were out in the sun all day and wanted cold sandwiches. My wife went with the chicken salad hoagie. The roll is familiar to me, but not one I prefer my hoagies on. Still, I got it again. Taking a bite, it's not the most amazing thing I ever ate, but my mind is comforted. We'll be back at some point. We don't do a lot of take-out, but when we unexpectedly have things change our plans, T'Dori is an occasional quick option for us. That's what we want. It's always busy too. I know people who eat her quite often and it's just always busy. That's a great sign. Besides Tuna, I love trying meatballs at places. I'll probably go with the meatball Parmigiana next. I just don't think I care about Italian takeout. I actually might not even care about any takeout... Especially wings... I'd rather dine in, but if you don't care about that, join all of the other people coming back for takeout. read more

I just got home from the hospital. My wonderful aunt wanted to do something nice for me and ordered food for me and my girlfriend. I blindly ate some of the food without thinking anything of it. With my girlfriend sorting through it we found blue pasta. Not pasta that was blue all the way through, just pieces that had streaks of blue through it. I would recommend anyone to to stay absolutely as far away from this food as possible. I do not think we'll be eating anything that my aunt bought us unfortunately. Excellent take-out Italian! Don't sleep on this restaurant nestled in between Rita's and a Nail salon. Their food is crazy good! I almost always get the Puttanesca or Pescatore or the Chicken Parmigiana. The portions are huge and last for days. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel after giving this place another try, a mistake I will never make again, Roast beef club was falling apart, cut in half, no toothpicks holding it together, had 1 piece of bacon all crumbled up to make it look like more, the fries were so soggy I probably could have squeezed the grease out of it, I honestly don't know how they stay open when the food is worse than trash, after reading some of the recent reviews, I'm not to only one who feels this way. read more

I won a $50 gift card to T'Dori and when I went to use it I was told I couldn't use it because the owner had switched computer systems and there was no way he could verify what was left on my gift card. This is a great little Italian shop located about a 1/4 mile away from my job. Every time I wanted to go in here it has always been packed with customers picking up orders, or orders being put in with a line that you wouldn't believe. The lunch rush is crazy , so this tells you theses guys know what they are doing and my patience growing thinner with every passing day, I was not going to go to Primo's today . I finally got to experience a T'Dori sandwich, seeing I had left my house earlier with this place in mind with nothing to stop me. Good call on my part I felt because I had just missed the lunch rush , and now theses guys were getting ready for their dinner rush . Their menu looks unbelievably good with all these dishes they make so I know I will be looking forward to more meals to come. After about 5 minutes of just salivating thinking should I go with a Veal parm dish, a Chicken parm dish, or go with one of their great sandwich's i keep on hearing about. I went with one of their best sellers called " The South Philly" this hoagie was ..Amazingly Ginormous! The roll they used was excellent, this wasn't an Amoroso roll either, just flat out good. This COLOSSAL hoagie was filled with .. ready... prosciutto, salami sharp provolone, another ham, roasted peppers, with oil and balsamic vinegar all for $ 7.00. I couldn't finish this work of art in one sitting, I had to eat half take a break and come back to it later. Eating a well packed sandwich like this you have to think of it as a marathon, not a race to finish quickly. Make sure you have plenty of napkins on standby when eating one of their hoagies, because you will need it with all the juices from the peppers that collide with marinated onions , the oil and balsamic.. the fresh tomatoes mixed in there. It is a great meal when you're still eating while licking your fingers at the same time. This again is a great deli, great group of guys back there making your meals, friendly staff to add. They also have dishes you can purchase to go , so when you get home throw that plate of deliciousness in the oven , get your wine ready, have a movie ready to go and enjoy. What makes this even better for me I don't have to fight a line anymore, or worry about the time with their delivery service they offer. We had some guests and ordered about $150 worth of food from T'dori. The food was average at best. Some of the dishes were under seasoned and had zero flavor. Some were over seasoned and were borderline inedible. This place used to be better. The only positive was that they have big portions, but I'd rather have good food than lots of bad food. They accidentally left a dish out of our order. Our guests were hungry and we didn't have time to drive back. We called that night and they wouldn't refund our money, only restaurant credit. Apparently "Their boss has a policy of no refunds ever". To me it seems pretty silly policy to lose a customer for their $14.99 mistake. I had to reverse the charge with my credit card company. I drove from South Philly to get T'Dori takeout and let me tell you. Momma Mia! It was hands down the best Italian food I've ever had! Portion for Chicken Marsala was enough for 2 meals. It also came with bread sticks, pasta (I got angel hair in red sauce) soup (Tomato Florentine) and a salad. I substituted Caesar. Delish! This place is not what it used to be. When I worked in the area we would come here all the time and take dinner back to my office. Tonight my wife went to get an order of tortellini alfredo for the first time in a couple years. Nothing else in it just tortellini with alfredo sauce and they charged her $18.99 for a single order. When she asked about the price the girl was pretty rude and just left it at that's the price. My wife paid it and left pretty unhappy. Well then it got worse. She got back to the church to eat and found that she had basically been given tortellini soup. The food was disgusting. The sauce was watery and covered in spices. WTH? Decent but wasn't wow'ed Ordered two family packs for my fiance's birthday last month. I invited his friends over to celebrate. Each family packs consisted 6 chicken parmesan, 6 meatballs, 6 raviolis, 6 bread sticks and a dinner sized portion of salad and baked ziti. Priced at $34.99 for each pack it was a good value but the taste was average. I personally enjoyed the chicken parm, breadsticks, and salad. I was not a fan however of the ziti, meatballs or ravioli. First, I would like to say that we order here weekly for over 3 years. We try to support small businesses whenever possible, and really did enjoy our lunches, however, recently something has changed with both the business and the food. Our last few orders were made incorrectly, with surprise charges for condiments (when asked for it on the side INSTEAD of the sandwich.. it was made with this included, mind you). We gave it another shot when another order was made incorrectly -- after calling, I spoke with a female who told me we would be credited the following week for the order, and she was putting it in the computer system for our next order. Upon calling this week to place our order, I was told that the courtesy credit for our sandwich was revoked. I was told by the clerk that the management said "we will make it better and correct this time and can not and will not offer refunds". It is really disappointing to say the least -- one would think that they would try to make things right (after numerous mistakes) for such a long standing customer/business customer. We will be taking our business elsewhere from here on out. Hopefully management can change their customer service protocols before more faithful patrons also leave because of lack of courtesy. read more

Wow, this take out place is a new staple for me! Food is great, price is fair and they give you a lot of food. Salads - They have a large selection of salads (read the fine print on the menu you can add two extras for free in addition to what is listed is the salad). The salads are filled to the top with food, very ample serving size! I usually get the medium ,there are two options medium or large, medium with shrimp which is an upcharge runs 9 dollars that's with tax. If you do not add any items there going to run you about 6.50. Burgers!! - I tried the Pizza burger and it was amazing! They tend to cook the burgers not that long so it has a lot of flavor and kinda falls apart in your mouth. The pizza burger has pepperoni on it with a lot of flavor accompanied by mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. Even the bun is delicious, I believe it is a brioche bun, very soft and tasty. This meal comes with choice of regular French fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings. This is one of the best burgers I had all year. Bravo T'Dori's!! Will not honor their own gift cards. Purchased a $100 gift card as a Christmas stocking stuffer. When my son attempted to use it, they told him their new system did not talk to their old gift cards, so they were no longer honoring them. I provided them with a copy of my credit card bill showing the purchase and they accused me of draining the card and then trying to get them to give me an additional $100.00. My purpose, here, is to alert potential customers to their FRAUDULENT activity. Hopefully, people will treat their business appropriately. read more

The family orders from here once in a blue moon and for a sunday night dinner, it's okay. This time we ordered chicken parm sandwiches and cheese fries. While the portions are certainly generous (the 4 of us shared 2 hoagies/sandwiches), the sandwiches weren't the greatest. Both pieces of my and my grandfather's sandwich had burned meat in them. Ordered take out from here a few weeks ago and I wasn't impressed with our meal. I ordered fettuccine alfredo and garlic bread. The fettuccine was very watery and it was impossible to eat without making a mess. The garlic bread was so dry that it was hard to eat and didn't really taste garlicky. I can't speak to everything on the menu but their chicken cutlets and grilled chicken sandwiches are phenomenal. I'm talking...the best I have ever had. If you are a first timer, I would recommend the Popeye. IT.IS.BANGIN! If you want to go a little "healthier" get the grilled chicken with sweet potatoes fries. Want to just go for it? Get the cutlet with onion rings. Can't go wrong. My wife gets their salads which are huge and look delicious, but nothing is pulling me away from those chicken sandwiches.
