The desserts do not disappoint…read more We made a last-minute decision to come get dessert here after dinner. I want to say we arrived about 930, and found out that we were the last table they were going to accept. So make sure you double check what time they will take walk-ins for dessert. I feel like everyone knows this, but just in case the dessert room is all upstairs and each table is in its own private little room. We were right next to the piano player so we got to hear his playing. Otherwise, if you're a little farther away, then you can choose music in your room, but for us, his piano playing would've definitely drowned out. His piano playing was beautiful though, so I'm not complaining. You can pick up a phone and request songs, which we did. For dessert we got the peanut butter truffle and the vintage lush chocolate sundae. We switched out the ice cream in the sundae for the macadamia ice cream. Everything was super rich and delicious. You need to have a major sweet tooth to eat here, because the desserts were punch you in the face sweet. It is Valet only in Valet is eight dollars. They do let you tip with card, which is nice. Service here is fantastic and everyone is dressed to impressed. This is old school Tampa. So don't expect any modern decor. It's all dark woods and velvet feeling. This is definitely an experience that I think everybody would love.

The macadamia nut ice cream is hands down the best I've ever had--worth the visit all by itself! The peach cheesecake was also absolutely delicious. The service was warm, attentive, and impeccable. I loved the live piano player, and the vintage phone where you can call in a song request is such a fun, unique touch that makes the experience even more special. Every detail was thoughtfully curated. Perfection plus! I can't wait to come back.

So happy we ran across this!…read more I always like to bring candy home when traveling and this has been the best mixed candy yet they have the Bubs candy and other popular Swedish/international candies! Little pricey but to be expected. Now the sundaes are insane! Watching them make it was pretty neat- they newly have a non-dairy strawberry which I felt went perfect with with Strawberry sundae that stood out to me! Mind you I can have dairy but my stomach definitely prefers less is better! LOL I did not try my friends brownie one but she really liked it. Honestly you can likely order the size mini because it really isn't so mini and perfect size to actually finish! My friend got the regular and had to toss likely the amount in difference between our two sizes because she was full and we had no way with our hotel room to freeze the leftovers. I'd definitely recommend.

My dad and I had a great time browsing the selection of international candies and ended up picking up a bunch of treats from countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. It's always fun trying snacks and candies from different parts of the world and seeing how they compare to what we're used to. My personal favourite was the Raspberry Fizz bottle candies, which I believe are from Sweden. They were absolutely delicious and easily the standout candy from our haul. While we focused on the imported candy this visit, the ice cream, chocolate, and other desserts all looked incredible as well. Everything in the display cases looked tempting, so we'll definitely have to come back and try some of those next time. The staff were great too; kind, patient, and happy to help as we looked through all the different options. If you're visiting Sparkman Wharf and have a sweet tooth, this is absolutely worth a stop! The women behind the counter were helpful and friendly. When I asked for opinions and suggestions, they had plenty based on my likes, and in no time at all, I had a warmed up incredibly rich and delicious Magic Toffee Bar in front of me. So crazy good, I could only eat 1/3 of it, but it made for a delightful treat the next day too. The description of it is as follows: buttery Graham cracker crust with milk, dark, and white chocolate chips, bits of toffee, and topped with coconut. I also highly recommend taking a treat or two from their samples jar. Their toffee is clearly the best in the world, and every bite is a treat. If you're looking for the perfect holiday gift - look no further than their toffee. They have their own parking lot, which is always a bonus in this part of town, and inside was clean and bright, with plenty of seating, and free glasses of water.

The cake slice I tried was unfortunately on the dry side, but when staff checked in and I mentioned it, they immediately offered to let me pick out a replacement, completely unprompted. The music is at a comfortable volume. Service took a bit of time, but the results are amazing. The apple juice was confusing at first because it came in separate layers in the cup, but once mixed, it was amazing. Had to stop myself from chugging it. The mint lemonade is out of this work. First- the parking lot is pothole ridden. And Saturday night, just don't bother- the whole plaza was chaos. Too many people. I actually have an allergy to cigarettes and too many people were milling about smoking- so here I was speed walking to get inside to escape the smell only to be bombarded with a completely different smell that wrecked my sinuses. The whole place smells of insanely strong perfume! It's so bad- you will taste it in your food! So- no matter how amazing the chocolate is, the environment ruins the experience. My appetite was ruined. I left with a horrible headache and couldn't wait to get back home to shower! I wanted the epic, chocolate indulging, fountains flowing experience. I thought it would tickle the senses- I couldn't even smell chocolate. Visual- 5 stars, looks amazing Taste- 3 stars, impacted by smell Everything else- 1 star
