I visited TeBella Tea Company for the first time a few weeks ago. I ordered an iced Georgia peach tea. This drink was super refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness. The shop had the cutest tea kettles, journals, decor, and other fun novelty items available for purchase. We sampled a few of their chocolate truffles and they were amazing. The overall vibe here was cute and relaxing. There are so many teas to choose from, so I can definitely see myself coming back again and trying something new. The staff was super friendly. I stopped by the TeBella flagship store on Davis Island after hearing about their unique November tea lattes. I was very indecisive about which tea to order since they had so many intriguing options. The staff were really kind and walked me through the different flavors and what to expect. I ended up getting the hot banana bread tea latte and it didn't disappoint. I recommend medium sweet if you want the banana flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. It was flavorful, creamy, and a very unique drink overall. I will say, it does have a mildly artificial banana flavor, so wouldn't recommend if you don't like that taste. I'll definitely be stopping by TeBella to try one of their other teas! read more

I was introduced to matcha at a coffee exposition (lol), and the barista here explained their matcha options. She recommended an iced ceremonial matcha- it was delicious and beautiful! We also got the London Fog and a salted caramel bonbon, both of which were delicious. The shop had tea packages that you could buy, with the tea, frothers, sweeteners, and directions. This shop does remind me of Teavana when they used to be open. They have a few tables outside for seating. We were immediately greeted upon walking in. There are all sorts of tea ware, tea pots, tumblers, etc. Love the Matcha Matcha Man t-shirt but didn't see them for sale. Then I got distracted by the tea wall and varieties available. They have a whole wall of teas that you can choose from to purchase by the ounce. There is a 2oz minimum purchase and the price depends on the tea. I ordered the matcha lemonade and hubs got the sparkling lemon drop tea. Loved the matcha! It was so refreshing on the hot day! The Lemon drop was a bit too sparkling for my liking although after adding some Splenda it really brought out the lemon taste. We did end up getting the Georgia peach and blueberry royale tea in a 2oz package. read more

TeBella has been my favorite tea shop since coming to the Tampa Bay Area. The location on David Island is the og, so I had to stop by for a drink and some loose leaf to take home. It's a small shop but absolutely lovely. They put a lot of thought into the display of their tea items and the wall of tea tins is a beautiful sight. I will not lie, when buying loose leaf tea, I love when the baristas take the tin top off and waft the aroma toward you! It's so satisfying! I got more peppermint bark tea leaves to take home and also asked what their favorite floral tea was and fruity black tea was. One of the baristas recommended a rose oolong tea that smelled amazing and a black currant black tea that I would not even considered before. I took home both and cannot wait to try! Tea Bella on Davis Island ignited my passion for tea! This place has everything you could hope for! A large selection of teas, a cute gift shop, William Dean chocolates, and macaroons by Elevenses. They have local honey and jewelry and art by local artists as well. As far as teas go, my go to is mixing Mango Malange with lemonade. It's juicy and refreshing! As mentioned before, they have a lot of cute items for sale that are a little bit on the pricey side, but good for a gifting if you know anyone into this. The tea is excellent. The stores and staff are awesome. 4 stars only applies to on-line ordering which is also very well organized. However, they are using USPS which proved to be an unreliable with delivery time. In fact, their week or so delays are practically normal practice. I've also bought tea from them at the farmers market and I'm pretty sure TeaBella tea is served at Oxford Exchange. This time around I ordered the Campfire s'mores tea. I couldn't get over how it tasted like that. And I know I don't love this smoked but it just was so perfect. My hubby was super happy with his passion fruit tea since that's his fave flavor. If you need something to perk you up, the Rose Matcha Lemonade with edible glitter, dried rose petals scattered on top with lots of matcha goodness, lemonade and rose syrup will surely do the trick on a rainy day! The only con is that it's available until the end of February. I don't attempt going to TeBella's other location inside Oxford Exchange because parking is really bad; I loved visiting Harbor Island location on my lunch break & doing a tea run for myself & coworkers! The rose syrup really came through with just the right amount of sweet lemonade yet the smooth taste of matcha was still preserved throughout. The matcha is high quality & I'm really particular about that! They have a smogus board of teas to try as well as specialty beverages like Salted Caramel Latte, loose tea leaves (Mango Melange is my favorite) to purchase & artistically put together chalkboard art that I looove with dangling lights! Parking can be difficult, so def. brush up on your parallel parking skills! Service was friendly, prices are similar to Starbucks, but the owners hand select quality tea leaves, which yields better tasting teas, so definitely going to come back! read more

Our friend took us here the other day and raves about the delicious teas. What an adorable little shop! They also sell chocolates and little gifts too. What a nice selection of teas/drinks. I ordered an amazing drink off their valentines menu and it was to die for! It was called Sweetheart Fog (rose, raspberry and vanilla). I had it iced with coconut milk. Quick Read: Delicious tea and very knowledgeable staff that is incredibly friendly! I stopped in today to pick up a few teas to help calm my tummy during the week from the medications I'm on for my rheumatoid arthritis. The ladies behind the counter were incredibly kind and guided me through a ton of beautiful smelling teas that they thought would do the trick; I settled on the Moroccan Mint and Wicked Créme for this visit. I am a tea person, not a coffee person. Tea leaves you with a clean taste in your mouth, and coffee the opposite. Davis Island is a hidden treasure. For those who have not explored this tiny shopping district yet, you are definitely missing out. Only a short distance south from Hyde Park, it can all be easily done on the same trip. If you are going to stop and take a break from shopping, I definitely recommend TeBella versus the Hyde Park places, based on the quality of the offerings. There is limited seating, but the hours are longer. The owner is extremely knowledgeable. We just told her what we like and don't like and she was able to prepare a Tea Flight for us that was accurate and fast with no hesitation. The basic menu is limited, however the actual selection on the wall is expansive... We also ordered the London Fog, off of the basic menu. In the end, I was feeling bold and ordered something off of the wall... Jamaican Ruby Red, which was supposed to taste like Grapefruit. Ended up tasting like Tomato Basil Soup. We all make mistakes! Sometimes you can score cupcakes made by the dessert chef at Bern's Steakhouse, Kim Yelvington. I scored a Browned Butter Vanilla Cupcake, it was divine. read more

Was hanging out on Davis Island on a scorching Saturday and decided to pop in TeBella for a couple of iced teas. We tried the Blueberry Pomegranate Iced Tea, Mint Julep Iced Tea, Cranberry Orange Biscotti, and the Pomegranate Biscotti. I wasn't a huge fan of the mint julep tea, but the blueberry pomegranate tea was great. Both of the biscotti were great too. Since we had our dog with us we enjoyed our iced teas and biscotti on the patio. I have had TeBella tea on quite a few different occasions and stopped into the Davis Island tea shop to get a nice iced tea on a hot summer day. There are SO many varieties of tea. There is an entire wall full of them. It's sort of crazy how many different teas there are. Maybe I will make it my mission to try them all... Anyway, onto the tea. I have had a few different teas -- peach oolong, banana tea, apple cinnamon... just to name a few. Today I ordered the very berry tea at the recommendation of the nice young lady working at the store. The flavor was not too strong but just strong enough -- you can ask for them to put any kind of sweetener you want in your tea. They have honey, agave, Stevia, Splenda and can make your tea hot or cold. Both ways are good. TeBella also has a pretty good selection of William Dean chocolates, which are very unique in flavor and a local favorite of mine. I'll definitely keep coming back to the tea shop. I enjoy going to Oxford Exchange but find it very busy a lot of the time whereas the original location is less crowded and has way more options of tea and tea products. I'm glad to support TeBella and am happy so many places carry their wonderful tea! read more

Their location at Oxford Exchange is beautiful, and Jess is my favorite tea-tender. I love the variety of tea blends at the Davis Island location, and all of my at home tea tools have come from their shop. This is one of the best tea shops in the Pinellas/Tampa area. What I love about this tea shop that makes it stand out is that they offer a bottomless cup for $7. Since a regular cup is $3.50, all you have to do is buy 3 cups and you've already made your money back. This is great for people like me who can't quite make up their mind about which tea to get. The employees are very knowledgeable about the teas and great for offering recommendations. Be warned that the place is a little small compared to other tea shops, so it's not ideal for a group larger than 2 people.
