My friends and I came here for an after-dinner drink. They are known for having different types of…read morejellys along with the expected boba. I LOVED the variety of jellys! So by jellos, it's basically jello. And you can ask for sample before picking a jelly/jello for your drink. Notable samples were; Sesame which had a grainy texture to it but I still liked it. The thai tea jelly was amazing and strong!! The milk tea itself was as expected. The strong point was the jelly/jellos. I really like the furniture since it was all velvet and almost gave that sophisticated feel but it was kind of broken up by all the claw machines and the claw service corner. The ambiance is a weird mismatch. The items in the claw machines looks like knock offs and I had NO desire to even try. Overall, skip the claw machines, try the jelly/jello samples, enjoy the vibes on one side the room and maybe ignore the other side. Free parking out front.

The jelly was a little hard to eat with the straw, which was a little disappointing. We also got the signature tea waffles, which were okay and not too sweet. The cafe is spacious, with a bunch of claw machines, although the available prizes could be better. Service is quick and you can order on an iPad. Would love to try their other options!

It's not the first time that either of us had a green tea, but this one had no sweetness, and it was really hard to eat the crystals that they had cause it also seemed like the lychee was not peeled all the way, so it was like you're eating fruit skin while drinking your drink. My other friend got a milk tea which she really enjoyed so I think if we ever go back, I would try maybe their drink that has coffee in it and not just a green tea with something. It's really strange how you order your drinks because they have a kiosk upfront and it tells you to order there but they also have people at the counter to order. We tried to order at the kiosk and it wouldn't take the card so we had to order at the counter with the lady and they use a intercom type speaker to talk to you through the glass and then when your order comes up, it's like you're in a train station. It's very loud and very strange and I don't think it's actually necessary if people just use their regular voices not a very relaxing place.

The menu can be a little overwhelming but they do have some popular options for you. I got a recommendation from a friend and tried the red bean jelly milk and it was delicious. I've never had this at any other tea house before. But surprisingly the flavor combinations were great and I loved the rich flavor of the red beans as a drink. The service was quick and there were lots of workers around who were patient in taking our orders. Would definitely get this drink again in the future!

Wanting to give Wanpo the benefit of the doubt, I asked if it could be remade because it was a $8 drink. The worker, whose name I believe is Eric, SNIFFED my drink through the straw and said that it's Sugarcane and gave it back to me.....He then said he wouldn't remake it because it smells like it...Huh..? I walked out in shock because, what? Out of all the boba spots that I have been to, never has anyone smelled my drink. In fact, I used to work at a boba shop and never has it occurred to me to smell a drink and not remake it for a customer. Like, I don't know what methods you use to confirm ingredients but you couldn't even take the drink to the back to smell it? You did it in front of my face? I don't ever ask for drinks to be remade unless it tastes nothing like I ordered, I just go about and let it be but this genuinely appalled me. I go to Wanpo and I enjoy their Mango Sago drink but this experience has led me to never come back because... are you serious?

I like what I like, just as others like what they like. So I wasn't sure what I was going to get stuck with. So on the way to the outskirts of Katy, we stopped in at Ding Tea. Let me tell you how busy this area was on a beautiful Sunday before lunar New Year. There wasn't a single parking space to be had in three different lots. There was traffic everywhere in people. Do not drive well when they're looking for a parking spot. People just stopped in the middle of the parking lot and didn't move. Waiting for someone to walk out of a building. Super annoying. Luckily, Ding Tea is located behind lot of the larger restaurants and the golf course and other super busy areas. There was a parking spot waiting for me out front and it was easy to get in and out. We ended up getting a tea to share, and two to go with us to the party. We also got an order of the popcorn chicken. I wish they would have it a little bit spicier on its own, without having to dip it into things. A little seasoning goes a long way! The staff were also super nowledgeable about the menu, courteous, and efficient. Will definitely be back, but not on lunar new year. So busy!!

I'll admit I wasn't expecting much at first because it didn't look like one of those super authentic boba shops from the outside, but WOW...this place really surprised me! The boba was SO good! The tapioca pearls had the perfect chewy texture, the tea flavor was nice and strong, and 50% sugar ended up being the perfect sweetness for me. It honestly hit the spot before my drive back to Austin! The staff was also really friendly throughout my visit. The only downside was that it took a little longer than I expected to get my drink, especially since there was only one person ahead of me. That being said, once I took my first sip, I honestly didn't mind the wait anymore haha. Overall, this is such a solid boba spot! It completely exceeded my expectations, and I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Houston. If you're debating whether to stop here, I'd say it's absolutely worth it!!
