Probably the better of all the boba cafes in WNY. Kiddos loved their strawberry fruit, watermelon tea (suppose to be fruit too but still tasted good). I was okay with my taro milk tea (taro flavor was not strong enough). - dinged a star because we went hungry thinking they had food from the reviews here but was told they eliminated all but desserts - friendly service, and quicker than the other boba places All in all we will come back if we're in the area :)

I'm obsessed! So far I've tried 4 different kinds of tea and 2 different types of pie. EVERYTHING has been great every time. Staff are helpful and fast. They have a great selection of options. You can fully customize everything. Cool lobby area they keep really clean. Takeout options as well. They are located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. The ny cheesecake is a must.

The bubble tea at this location is very delicious and it had just the right amounts of sugar and creaminess. The ambiance and interior of this place is also very relaxing, a perfect spot to hang out with friends and to study. The location is also very convenient, right next to a Mexican restaurant and AMC Movie Theater.

Haven't been back here in a while, but was really craving my favorite - taro coconut milk smoothie. When I walked in I was greeted by the friendliest person at the register. Even though they were masked (LOVE), I could see their smile through it. It's crazy how a kind interaction with a stranger can really just brighten up your day! My smoothie was just as I remembered it. Sweet, but not too sweet, and filled with yummy chewy boba. Yummm. Glad I decided to treat myself this morning!

The best bubble tea place in Buffalo! All their drinks are flavorful and do not taste like they're made from cheaply made flavored powders. Their bubbles are also really good, super chewy and taste fresh. They also have a stamp card, buy 10 get one free! I am kind of disappointed when the cashier told me Tea Leaf Cafe's supplier ended the lavender and earl grey flavor. I was a big fan of them. I love their regular boba, bursting boba, and lychee jelly. I order the regular boba the most though since I prefer the super chewy bubbles. Now that earl grey and lavender have been discontinued, I'll be sticking to mainly Rose, Thai, and Lychee. The cashiers are really kind and welcoming, feel free to ask for recommendations! Before they canceled earl grey and lavender, I wanted to order an earl grey and the cashier told me they did not have earl grey and offered me recommendations. I ended up getting regular bubble milk tea with lavender. tl;dr - faves are rose, thai, and lychee; ask for stamp card!

Really great boba! We tried the red bean with tapioca pearls and taro. We will definitely be back! Service was helpful and very quick! Great atmosphere.

A friend brought me to this cafe the other night. She loves bubble tea and wanted me to check it out. I'm happy that this cafe is in a plaza because there's plenty of parking available. Other cafes around Buffalo have street parking and sometimes it's difficult to get a spot. Walking into Tea leaves the cafe is very clean and the decor is very rich. There's dark wood and dark walls. I liked the music that was playing. The staff didn't really talk to us much or welcome us in. I had my friend order for me because she wanted me to try the lychee jelly. She ordered a passion tea with lychee jelly and it was too sweet for me. I like strong coffee and tea so I would like a tea with more depth of flavor. I also ordered the limoncello mascarpone cake. It was refreshing and delicious. The cake was given to me in a plastic container. I would've preferred a plate. If I go in again,I'll order for myself to get some more education on the beverages offered and tweak it more to my taste. Tea Leaves has a large menu of drinks so I'm sure I'll find something I like.

Their mango and papaya flavor also great to try! I always order less sugar and they still taste great! I tried so many other boba shop around the area. This is the best!!!! Highly recommend if you are a Boba & milk tea lover!

Lychee green tea with lychee jelly

I have walked by Tea Leaf cafe a few times when I was going to the AMC theater. The three times I peaked in, it was crowded and there was a long line. The day I stopped by was a rainy day so there was no wait. I tried their lychee green tea with lychee jelly. Surprising it wasn't that bad. I didn't have high exceptions but I would say since most of the flavored green tea drinks are normally mixed with a lot of syrup. I didn't find the syrup to overwhelming, it was more of a settle green tea flavor. The service was very quick but I can imagine from the few times I see that on days like Friday nights, weekends they will be extremely busy. I suppose their other drinks would pretty good. Would definitely come back in the future when I visit Buffalo. They also have a few snacks on their menu.

Popcorn chicken was too dry and rubbery. Would have been almost inedible without the sauce.

I absolutely love this cafe. It's so cozy and they have the BEST bubble tea. It's also open late hours which is nice.

The cashier was a little gruff, but the woman running back and forth between the kitchen and the front had a better business sense about keeping customers happy. She didn't want me to wait long, so I think she rushed the kitchen a little bit, which I appreciated, but also may have led to some of the demerits on the food I mention below. I was happy to see one dish I ordered, the pig intestine with fish, on their picture board above the cash registers. That gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and it was the best dish by far out of the three I ordered. The intestine was fresh and flavorful, the spice level was high, but also not too salty. It was a lot of food. Only drawback here was the fish (tilapia?) seemed to be heavy on the breading. The other two dishes were disappointing. Penang curry with pork had good vegetables, but the sauce had too little flavor since they went too heavy on the coconut milk. The pork seemed like chicken, not pork. Way too soft and flavorless. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun had good noodles and veggies. But the curry powder was not blended in. Eating it, I could still feel it in powder form. It was also far too oily. Overall, I think they had a lot of options but next time I'd steer more towards classic Chinese, since that seems to be what they do well. I hope next time the flavors will be stronger and blended better (i.e. powders actually stirred in). I'm willing to give them another chance, since they do have a lot of dishes I like. Last note: the online ordering service does not indicate that dishes come with rice. I thought they would have rice by default, but then when I added the penang curry to my cart, it asked whether I wanted rice or noodles or something else. So that made me think I had to order rice separately, which meant I had twice as much rice as I needed. It also said "quart of white rice" was sold out, but "pint of white rice" was not, yet the rice that came with my meal came in a quart container.

Service was prompt and to the point. Very respectful staff Food- Had many of the sushi rolls Rainbow, Chopper, kamikaze and Akazaru. Every single roll was amazing and full of taste. I don't know where they get their fish from but it is some of the freshest fish I've had in the area. Also had the spicy miso ramen which was another perfectly made meal. The spice was full of taste but not so hot that it took away from the meal 10/10 restaurant.

Needed more sushi vinegar. If the ingredients are measured out, which they said it was when I pointed it out, then this should never have be an issue. -Garnish, specifically the lettuce on the sushi plate was old, mushy, and unappealing. They should have left it off the plate if that was all they had left. Sushi is about presentation more so than most food and this was not done well. -Miso soup. This was not traditional miso soup. I know there are miso soup with daikon as an add on, but there's usually wakame in it. There was no enoki mushroom either like it says on their menu. The ones I uses to make, and all the sushi restaurants I've been to were the traditional tofu, wakame and diced green onions. Have that as a first option since more widely known, and make the daikon as a second option. Also, miso broth was bland. Needed more bonito flakes. Equipment - you guys need to periodically check your tables and chairs for damage. When I grabbed my chair by the seat to scoot myself closer to the table the seat came off. Need to balance out the portions of ingredients in your rolls. California roll needed more imitation crab. There was too much cucumber and avocado. You guys need to focus more on quality and presentation instead of having a ton of different roll on your menu. When you are pricing your sushi like a mid-high end restaurant, the quality and presentation needs to match. I read the reviews on this place and thought all the kinks would have been worked out by now, but it seems not. We didn't try out the other non-sushi dishes they had on their menu, so we have no opinions on them. I am one of the few who will not be coming here again for sushi.
