    Rose City, Italian Soda

Stopped here while traipsing around Portland for a cool beverage. I tried the Rose City, a grapefruit and rose tea, 50% sweetness. I'm a fan of rose flavored drinks and this was very refreshing. The grapefruit and rose flavors blended very well, and the citrus cut a lot of the strong rose which might be appealing for those who don't like very powerful rose drinks.

Ducked in from the rain for my wife to order a coffee; she ended up ordering a hot coconut milk tea with boba instead, and after one sip, I ordered something similar (a hot vanilla milk tea with boba) for myself! I generally avoid such drinks for calories' sake, but I couldn't help myself: they're just too good! Glancing over the rest of the menu, they're rocking all sorts of awesome teas, milk or otherwise, including Thai, iced and loose leaf varieties, tea lattes, Italian sodas and smoothies, plus a delectable array of Bahn Mis (one of my absolute favorites!) and breakfast sandwiches. It may have been bad weather and a happy accident that brought us in here, but we will return of our own volition in the future! What a great find!

My go to spot for a boba and banh mi.. I wrote a haiku review. It is as follows: "Crispy banh mi, in me Refreshing boba balls, wow Best 12 bucks I've spent"

Tea Social is a great spot for a tea drink. The employees are always very nice and there are several tables inside to sit at. The two drinks that I have gotten so far are the chocolate and lychee milk tea. They use the Tao of Tea tea in their drinks and it sets their drinks apart in a good way. I think the drinks are good but not great. That may partially be due to coconut milk being the milk used in their milk teas. Overall, a good tea spot and if you happen to be walking along 23rd, I think you should try them out.

This was a great lunch stop. I ordered a lavender milk tea with boba and banh mi. It was small and clean. Staff was very nice and they have punch cards as well.

We stopped in for a coffee and bubble tea. The white mocha was delicious, the bubble tea was just so so, and the service wasn't fantastic. I suppose I might return for a coffee if I was walking by, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Located very conveniently on the 23rd , this spot is a good place for a break if you are shopping in the area or running errands . Service is great and fast , prices are reasonable and lots of options for hot as well as cold beverages - Iced tea , Iced Milk Tea, Smoothies etc . They do seem to run out of boba fast at this place. They also have Bahn-mi sandwiches and a few other grab-n-go snack options . Seating is both indoor as well as Outdoors but currently due to covid ,they do not let customers sit Indoors.

Mango & Guava Smoothie & chocolate chip cookie were both tasty! Service was top notch as well. Soo ...good!

Nice restaurant for avocado banh mi (vegetarian / vegan sandwich was $8.25 last time I checked in July 22). Café also serves bubble tea, and Chinese tea like jasmine tea and oolong tea. There are soda cans such as Diet Coke, Regular Coca Cola, and Sprite for $1.50. La Croix sparkling water for $1.50 and regular bottled water for $1.25.

Yummy tea and fresh macarons. I would return here for more macarons. The teas had a lot of flavor and the service was quick and friendly.

Entering the shop, you will be greeted by loud music. Be ready for that. You will have the option to dine outside, if the weather provides it and the seats are empty. The hosts are wonderful and very accepting with a positive attitude. Smiles and all. I ordered the Jim because it was the only sandwich I could eat. The majority of the sandwiches contain meat, so I would not recommend this for vegans or pescatarians. Jim was delicious and I consumed both halves of Jim flawlessly. Either hunger overruled me, or the sandwich was that satisfying. I do recommend the shop, but with limited options for non-meat eaters, I truthfully would rate Lottie and Zulas, 4.5. Yet, I don't believe the spot was "good."

We also had the Vinny which was fine, a bit spicier than I thought it would be, but I'm a wimp. The service was fine, not overly friendly but adequate. The food is 4 stars, the service 3 starts, but the real bummer was all the plastic. Plastic container, plastic cups and we were eating in. They asked if it was to go and we said no, but everything came in plastic anyway. The ambiance is quintessential Portland, right up until they bring all your food in plastic with plastic silverware to boot.

I had the steak and chimichurri sandwich and it was amazing. The fries were great, and I also loved their candy selection. With the plethora of eats to choose from, a friendly/efficient staff and service, and in or outdoor seating available, Elephants Delicatessen is a spot that's a must visit when you're in this fun city! There are multiple counters for different types of food. There's a sandwich/soup station, a pizza station, a hot foods station (for burgers & specialties), a cold deli station for cold salads/sides, and a bar/barista inside for adult beverages or coffee. Additionally, there's an area to purchase bottled wine and jams/jellies. Grab whatever items you order and pay at the register. If you order from a station, bring your ticket with you as that's where you get charged. Pretty much any type of deli flavor you're looking for, you can find it here. Some of my favorites involve the following: -Teriyaki Chicken Wings -Curried Chickpea Salad -Reuben Sandwich -Tomato Bisque -Corn & Crab Chowder -Broccoli Salad -Turkey and Avocado Sandwich -Pizza Slices (All of them!) I'm sure there's plenty of items I'm missing but those are the ones that stood out to me since I've eaten them multiple times. The staff is very helpful and move efficiently with all the orders flying around. As for seating, there's plenty of seating indoors or you can sit on the patio area outside. Also kid friendly too if you've got the little ones with you. One of Portland's finest eating spots!
