Tried the blackberry fresh milk... well, I tried the blueberry fresh milk when I ordered the blackberry fresh milk to go. It was medium sweet, not cereal milk sweet. The blueberry flavor was on the lighter side. I could taste it, but not strongly. It was cold and refreshing, but not something I craved ordering again. I added boba as I love bobacat boba with a soft chewy texture and caramel flavor. The bits of blueberry skin at the bottom confirmed I was given blueberry, not blackberry which doesn't have skin. I would try another fresh milk flavor to see if another hooks me more. It is a nice caffeine free option. read more

I have high expectations for boba (esp coming from CA). This is the only place in Portland that I get my boba from. Their fresh milk series is ALWAYS on point. When I ask for a specific sweetness, it's 99.9% nailed, even ice adjustment. Other favorite drinks are: strawberry matcha, black sesame, and taro. It's quite out of the way, but honestly I don't mind. I also wish they didn't charge such a high fee for delivery ($8.99).... In terms of parking, it's street parking but that doesn't seem to be a problem every time I go here. Inside is not spacious, but not tight either. They have such a cute wall of Polaroid of cats from customers I guess, but it's a nice touch to the store. read more

I come here often with my friends and am always surprised by how good their drinks are. their teas are always super fragrant and strong. Love their adorable cat-centric decor! The drinks?... Not so much. Both our milk teas tasted watered down and underwhelming. If I had browsed their kitchen first, I wouldn't have ordered anything. Towards the back are dispensers for 3 tea bases. To the left is a wall of flavored syrups - yikes. I was hoping for quality, authentic flavors. Best boba I've tried In Portland! I'm a flavored fruit tea kinda gal and their teas are fragrant while delivering on flavor. I always get mine at 0% sweet or 50% sweet depending on my mood and both are good! My absolute favorite part the keeps me coming back and sets them apart from other boba places is the texture and taste of their boba. It's legit perfect. Bouncy, chewy and sweet. I haven't seen many reviews talk about the quality of the boba and it really is the best. Great price too. Usually only spend $14 when I go for both me and my husband. One of the best boba places I've tried in downtown Portland! First, I absolutely love the ambience and decor of the place! If you can't tell by the title and logo, it is cat themed! It's a very cozy place to sit at and enjoy a drink and they have cute Polaroids of cats on the wall! It does get kind of crowded weekends since it's right next to PSU though. Drink wise, I think their drinks are amazing for the price! I visit here often and my go to drink is the Mango Tea with Black Tea and boba (~$5.75)! Located near PSU, this coffee shop is a gem in Downtown Portland. After eating at a nearby Thai spot, my friend recommended this boba shop so we headed here for a dessert. The inside of the boba shop is cozy, nicely decorated, with some seats. The staff here were super helpful in giving recommendations for a drink. This boba shop has your traditional milk teas, but also some other fun ones I've never seen before, such as: blackberry fresh milk, Assam milk tea, and seasonal drinks. Watch your step as you open the door. I think the exterior is a lot prettier and cuter as there were lots of cats. Pretty disappointed with Bobacat. I was excited because of the cute packaging and interior design of the place.... However the boba quality is subpar. I got the bobacat milk tea 0% sugar. The boba pretty much disintegrates in your mouth and it's not chewy at all, which, to me, means it was overcooked or sitting there for a while. The milk tea doesn't taste like milk or tea. It felt very watered down. Cheese foam is probably the best part; it does not have a very strong flavor which matches the not-very-strong-flavored drink. I expected better quality from Bobacat's signature drink, even if there's no sugar. No sugar should emphasize the bitterness of tea, but it did not. 2 stars for fast service, standard (not too expensive) prices, and 0% sugar really tasting like 0% sugar. There are no ice or size adjustments. There is a lot of street parking nearby with standard Portland prices. I would not recommend this place. read more
