Our family LOVES this hidden hole in the wall Taiwanese place. Not only are the drinks refreshing but you can modify how much sugar and ice go into the drinks. You can split drinks for no additional cost. AND their meals are authentic and delicious. We often frequent this place with the loyalty punch cards and get free drinks often. It's also just a mom and pop shop which there aren't many of anymore. I just appreciate the authenticity of the place. Boba balls are soft and chewy not hard at all!

matcha ice cream milk tea with boba, egg pudding, and lychee jelly. strawberry yogurt drink. almond tea with boba.

We wanted to try a new boba place and picked this place because of the good reviews, however they weren't consistent with our personal experience unfortunately. We got 3 drinks: matcha ice cream milk tea with boba, strawberry yogurt drink, and almond tea with boba. Taste wise we weren't very satisfied because the boba was very chewy/firm and the tea was very watered down with hardly any flavor to it. Both the service and the ambiance didn't seem very warm/welcoming... the vibes just felt kinda off. We went on a Saturday afternoon and no one else was there so added a star for no wait at least? I am grasping at straws a bit (pun intended lol). Anyway likely won't go back. Also this place popped up when I searched for cheese foam so note that there is NO cheese foam available here as of now. Each topping costs 75 cents which I don't think is worth it for the quality we got, sadly.

Black milk tea with Boba and red bean! Very authentic Taiwan Taste.

Tea station moved here from Gardena. This location is hiding in the back of the shopping center behind Pizza Hut on Anza and Del Amo. My mother is the queen of Boba black milk tea so we stopped in once and one try and got hooked! The milk tea reminds me of the ones in Taiwan. Pretty authentic and flavorful. Our go to is the black milk tea with Boba and red bean. Too bad they don't do half and half so we have to pay for another topping and it's just too much toppings in a drink. Their drinks run pretty sweet so we get our drink with 0 sugar or 30% is perfect. I heard their Taiwanese food is delicious, I will have to try it one day! Although Tea Station is known as a franchise name, but this is a husband and wife small business. Come and support!!

Large Chrysanthemum Tea

Usual Tea Station options. Solid location although I do think the ambiance was lacking. Felt kind of empty and more of a place for you to visit and leave rather than stay and chat. Food and tea came out really fast but ordered a large tea and fried chicken which came out to $20. Really expensive in my opinion but I was absolutely happy with my food and drink!

Osmanthus Oolong Tea

My favorite boba milk tea brand! I always get tea drinks at Tea Station in San Gabriel area and I am so happy to find this place close by my house. Today I ordered Osmanthus Oolong Tea (my favorite), their tea is strong (love it) but the Osmanthus flavor is not there yet, I wish it has more Osmanthus flavor. But I will definitely come back next time for another drinks :)

Been coming here almost weekly and it is still the best tea (and Rose Milk Tea) in the south bay! They've upgraded to this larger monitor display now. Prices are still the most reasonable in the area.

Refreshing tea for a hot day. Great service and didn't have to wait long. Will be coming back again.

The best almond milk tea! Most places don't even have this simple option. Plenty of parking, quick service

Ask the Community - Tea Station

What's the lunch specials?

Does this location have the snow ice desserts like they had in Gardena? I have been craving their Azuki (sweet red bean) snow ice with Mochi and condensed milk since the COVID closure!

Will there be food sold at this location in the future?

The owner mentioned they plan to sell food.

If you've ever had popcorn chicken from a good boba shop, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. The chicken is crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and somehow manages to disappear before I make it home. The fried basil is the real MVP though! crispy, fragrant, and incredibly addictive! Highly recommend checking out this local gem!!!

We asked for not spicy and there was only a hint of white pepper. The only negative was the presentation. It is served in a large paper cone. That's fine if you're eating and walking with it. But at a table, the cone was so tall that you have to stand up to see the chicken inside. And you have to rotate the cone if you're sharing since one side of the cone is taller than the other. The stinky tofu was serviceable but it could have been stinkier. The beef noodle soup was okay. The beef was very tender and the soup was good. But it's not as flavorful as the ones at Sue's Kitchen up the street. The only miss for me was the Dan Dan noodles. I was warned it was spicy but it was a bit spicier than I anticipated. That's ok but the sauce had a weird sour taste to it that was kind of off putting. The service is very attentive. I wish they served boba drinks. Overall we will definitely be back. I can't wait until they open their new branch up in Palos Verdes later this year.

Food was HOT & of course made to order. I did burn my tongue.... But it's okay I had a cold Thai tea to help suppress that burn. Thai tea 4/5 -- on the sweeter side for me. But still carries that robust Thai flavor to it. Spicy chicken 5/5 -- huge kick to it. Looks innocent... is deadly. I loved the spiciness. I'm all about spice so this was really nice to try. Shrimp fried rice 5/5 -- I can't believe a shrimp fried this rice... it's splendid. Uh-mah-zing. We love her. Perfect shrimp to rice ratio. Not too salty. Perfect amount of umami 12pc shrimp dumplings-- 4/5 oooo they were HOT. Flavor could be improved a bit, but otherwise texture and quality was delightful. Parking is in the plaza. When you dine in they bring metal cups with an icy cold carafe of cold water to your table. Customer service is efficient. The person behind the counter is very soft spoken and gives you a slight smile but gets your order correct every time. Hands down so don't argue with me they have the absolute BEST orange chicken. It has a slight crunch on the outside while tender and juicy in the inside. The orange sauce is perfection. It has a great balance of salty and sweet without being overly sweet like an orange candy. It's not tart and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. They put the right amount of sauce so it is not drenched. Pair it with the garlic rice and the salad that crops and fresh no dressing is even needed. Order this and you will be happy. The regular white rice is good too! The Zapp chicken is crunchy, juicy and spicy. I normally cannot eat spicy but this one is perfect. Since my 24 year old son told me about this restaurant I've been here four times in the past month. And the veggie bean curb wrap? Way better than I expected, in the best way. The patio is lovely, too--bamboo all around, super peaceful. Perfect spot to unwind over a meal. As for the service, it's perfectly fine--friendly enough and efficient, which is pretty much what you'd expect from a classic dim sum spot. Nothing to complain about, honestly.

I honestly found it strange that Lunasia is sitting at a 3.5-star rating. After reading some of the…read morereviews, I felt compelled to leave my own because my experience was the complete opposite. A common complaint seems to be that the dim sum portions are "too big." Personally, I don't see how that's a negative. While dining here, I saw families with children enjoying the food without any issues--they simply cut the dumplings into smaller pieces before eating them. Larger portions mean you're getting more for your money, and the quality certainly backs it up. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff stayed on top of everything, from bringing out dishes promptly to keeping water glasses filled and checking in to make sure we were having a great experience. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. The restaurant also has a modern, upscale dim sum atmosphere that feels inviting without being pretentious. As for the food, the Shrimp Har Gow and Pork & Shrimp Siu Mai were absolutely fantastic. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and every bite was satisfying. At the end of the day, I'd much rather spend $10 on high-quality, jumbo-sized dim sum that actually fills me up than spend $20 on tiny portions at DTF. For me, Lunasia is an easy 5/5 and has become my favorite spot for dim sum.
