    AVOCADO COFFEE
    Jedrick M.

Let me start off by saying, I'm a sucker for Avocado drinks. With so many boba and coffee options in the Gardena/Torrance area there are only a few that have avocado options. Needless to say, after trying Dol Coffee House, I'm a major fan. There's always a balance of quality and quantity and Dol provides both especially for their fruit drinks. The menu has a good mix of coffee and fruit drink options so there's a little bit of everything. Most recently got the Avocado Coffee and it's a solid mix of Avocado flavoring and Espresso. Not to mention the size of their cups are massive so if you really like a flavor you'll get your money's worth. The shop itself is a large space and the staff have been extremely welcoming. Definitely a good vibe and good for large groups if you guys need a little dessert or pick me up. Overall a great experience and product and would highly recommend!

I've been coming to this place for awhile and haven't made a review . This was my first time trying the matcha and coffee and it was fabulous matcha earthy tones and strong coffee was just what I was looking for . Staff is always attentive and friendly have great service . Of course I'll be back

Been here a couple of times, the first and only thing I have been getting was their mango mousse. This is really good. I'm Filipino so I'm used to having sweet yellow mangoes, and it's hard for me to find a drink that tastes like the yellow mangoes in the Philippines. But when I tried this drink, I just kept coming back. The cafe itself is really spacious, they have an open space concept. Pretty decent amount of seatings, especially if you wanna work or study. They are cashless establishment. Staff are really friendly and nice as well.

One word- Babana coffee. Yum! Came here to try it since i was craving Service was quick and the barista was super nice. The location is in the same plaza as Hakata Ramen, Target and Raising Cane's. . It has tables and chairs for quiet time, studying and getting work done. There is wifi too. Will be back to try other items

Love finding hidden gems like DOL Coffee House! My little sister Jocelyn and I decided to try a new café spot in the area yesterday, and this place absolutely did not disappoint. The café itself is SUPER spacious with plenty of seating, making it a really comfortable spot to sit, relax, study, or catch up with friends. One thing we immediately noticed was how kind and courteous all of the workers were. The customer service felt very welcoming from the moment we walked in. I also loved that when your drinks are ready, they actually bring them out to you instead of calling you up to the counter -- such a nice touch that made the experience feel more personal. For drinks, I ordered the Oreo Matcha Brûlée Latte and my little sister got the Vietnamese coffee, and WOW... both were SO delicious. My matcha drink was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the Oreo flavor, while the Vietnamese coffee was smooth, strong, and flavorful. You can tell they put care into their drinks here. Overall, such a great first experience and we'll definitely be back again soon!

This place rivals (and may even beat) Da Vien for me. I went on a Friday morning, plenty of parking and seating, great for studying if needed. Super clean on the inside and well decorated to pay homage to Vietnam All the staff were kind and helpful. Let me take my time to look over the menu and ask questions. Ordered the Vietnamese Marble Coffee, regular sweetness. It's incredible. Absolutely divine. So happy to no longer have to drive to Long Beach for marble coffee. Will come back as much as I can and will happily recommend to anyone ready to start their coffee addiction.

Went to DOL with a few friends on a Friday morning. Plenty of parking and they have a beautiful interior, a perfect place to study or catch up with friends. I ordered the Vietnamese egg coffee, which was rich and had a nice caffeine kick. I wish it had a little more sweetness from the condensed milk, maybe I'll try a little sweeter version when you customize it. Highly recommend trying this cafe.

Love the ambience here. Bright, spacious, clean space with high ceilings. Lots of seating varieties to sit, read, work, or chat. The menu isn't too extensive but some decent options for coffees and teas. Great locale for Vietnamese drinks. Service is pretty quick, can order in person or via the kiosk.

I visited this place with my friend. I like to try new things, so I chose avocado drink. It was really delicious, yummy and very tasty. Highly recommend trying it. This place is nice, clean and friendly. I will definitely come back again.

Cute coffee place! I needed a matcha and was in the area so I gave DOL a try. I ordered the Oreo Brûlée Matcha Latte. It's sweet but good. The only non dairy option they had was oat milk. There were some booths when I went with activities of some sort. This place is big with a good amount of seating. I saw people with their laptops and homework. It's inside a plaza with plenty of parking. They have some interesting decor on the walls. They didn't have any food or snack options, only drinks. My drink came out super fast and the woman who took my order was both helpful and nice.

Clean bright location. Restroom was very clean and smelled clean as well. Ordered a Hanoi hot with matcha foam at 25% sweetness. Tasty and not too sweet. My daughter ordered a Strawberry banana with crystal jelly boba 75% sweetness. We both enjoyed our drinks. Cashier was very helpful answering questions and getting the drinks we wanted. Not really a coffee spot more of a mixed drink spot but still a solid location to get a drink

I wish I lived closer because this would become my new weekly coffee spot. Service is outstanding. Every staff member is so damn kind and friendly and they walk out every order to the customer. The menu has a good variety and staff is able to adjust mix ins, sweetness, etc. The whole place is clean, vibrant, and relaxing. I ordered the sea salt Vietnamese coffee with half sweetness, and it was delicious! The only thing I don't like are the chairs, they're so uncomfortable especially with no back support. But I'm happy to swing by again if I'm in the area

This might be one of my new favorite Boba shops!! The shop is very large with a lot of seating. Workers are friendly as well. I got the strawberry cloud, which is a strawberry blended drink with a cheese foam swirl around the drink. It was so tasty! Very refreshing. I liked how the creaminess of the cheese foam balanced well with the sweetness of the strawberry blended drink. Kind of reminded me of an Italian iced dessert with the custard on top. Would 1000% recommend. Definitely coming back!!

This place is a total gem, and if you haven't been yet, you are seriously missing out! Let me tell you about the star of my visit, the Matcha Cream Filled Croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing is on another level. The croissant itself is buttery, perfectly golden, and incredibly flaky -- with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. But the matcha cream filling? Silky smooth, lusciously rich, with a beautiful earthy matcha flavor that isn't overpowering or too sweet. It's the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-chew just to appreciate how good it is. I honestly could eat three of these in a sitting. The Korean-American fusion approach to their baked goods is inspired and completely unique, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the South Bay or in Gardena. Seriously Impressive, I paired my croissant with their Iced Matcha Latte, made with premium grade matcha sourced from Jeju Island, and WOW, this drink is stunning. It's vibrant, beautifully layered, and tastes as amazing as it looks. The matcha is bold and authentic without being bitter, perfectly balanced with creamy, cold milk. Not too sweet, not too earthy -- just absolutely perfect. It's easily one of the best iced matcha drinks I've had in a while. You can customize your milk choice too, which is a great thoughtful touch. This place is warm & welcoming: The staff here is attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. The baristas are well-trained and knowledgeable, they took their time explaining the menu and made sure my order was exactly right. No rushing, no attitude, just genuine hospitality that keeps you coming back. Decor is absolutely Charming. The interior of Smoking Tiger is adorable and so well thought out. It's modern, clean, and stylish with a cozy Korean café aesthetic that feels fresh without trying too hard. The lighting is warm and inviting, the seating is comfortable, and the whole vibe just makes you want to stay for hours. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, which is a great bonus. Whether you're catching up with a friend, working on your laptop, or just treating yourself to something special, this place sets the perfect mood. One thing that really stood out to me was how immaculately clean this café is. The tables, counters, floors, and display cases were all sparkling, it's clear that the team takes real pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for every guest. A clean café is a happy café, and this one passes with flying colors. Bottom Line, Smoking Tiger Coffee & Bread is the real deal. Creative, high-quality food, exceptional drinks, warm service, gorgeous decor, and a spotless space, this place checks every single box. The Matcha Cream Filled Croissant and Iced Matcha Latte alone are worth the trip. Do yourself a favor and go try yourself. Miguel C.

Since my first visit, there's been many competitors opening around Gardena, but I find myself drawn back to this place because of the balance of spaciousness (there's actually places to sit whenever I go!), quality of products (the espresso shot is pretty strong and they have many beans to choose from), and best of all, price of their drinks (specifically the specialties). While I wouldn't say the prices are a bargain, it feels more reasonable than other local competitors. One thing I do miss is that 2 years ago, the pastries weren't individually wrapped. We used to have the option of selecting pastries with tongs, the typical experience you'd get when going to a bakery in Japan. Hopefully they would bring that experience back again! Until then, I'll keep returning for their quality drinks!

Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

Review #990 2026-060…read more Drinks Order: Peach Jasmine Tea with Crystal Boba $5.60 Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher with Lychee Jelly $6.60 Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba $7 Cafe Pruvia is located on the east side of Pacific Square Shopping Center while traversing over a bunch of speed bumps to reach the cafe. With several boba/tea shops in the same plaza, I'm guessing they're trying to capitalize on the high foot traffic from Tokyo Central & Main supermarket, & their competitors ("boba clusters")? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order & saw someone exit with a bright green drink; the cashier said it's one of their more popular refreshers: Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher, & ordered it with lychee jelly. It's basically a slushy with passionfruit & green apple, but the flavor isn't as sharp, though it paired well with the jelly. I love peach, & their Peach Jasmine Tea is perfect for the summer... light, refreshing, & aromatically alluring with the combo of jasmine & peach. I prefer the Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba, which I claimed for my Local By Toast (LBT) $5 birthday reward. This slush has a notable peach flavor & crystal boba tastes better in this icy drink because it maintains its soft, chewy texture whereas tapioca pearls usually hardens & becomes tough after longer icy exposure. The menu is compact, consisting of: milk & flavored teas, non-caffeinated drinks, swirls, refreshers, crema (milk smoothies), coffees & coffee lattes, & tea lattes, with moderate prices in this competitive neighborhood. It's a decent selection but nothing that I considered unique enough for dedicated loyalty with other options in this center. Not the friendliest of service, but they are fast. The cafe is quite spacious with tables & chairs lining around the perimeter... with free WiFi, there's usually a crowd hanging out, particularly during the weekend evenings. If they provided board games, would that be additional entertainment to entice customers to stay a little longer & have a few more drinks? Hmmm... Cafe Pruvia uses LBT for their loyalty rewards, & program rules allows you to earn 1 point for every $1 spent, & earning 165 points for a $5 discount (or 3%). I'm not a frequent patron so I haven't checked my rewards status in a while... I came back recently when they dropped a $5 birthday reward. That's when I checked my account & saw that I only tallied 3 points after multiple trips; their tracking system is glitchy & I don't plan to fix it since there's no way I'll spend enough to earn the next $5 reward. Opened during the pandemic lockdown for nearly 6 years, Cafe Pruvia announced that they will be permanently closing on Sunday, 05/24/26, but will maintain next door sister, Pruvia Coffee Bar. If you're a fan of their teas & smoothies, this is your last chance to say goodbye.

Located off Redondo Beach Bl inside Pacific Square next to Pruvia Coffee Bar. This place has more…read morespace than the other one next door and opened later as well. The staff here were friendly and helpful. I got the grapefruit jasmine tea unsweetened. The differences with their matcha's according to the gal working is that theirs are all much sweeter versus next door's so I ended up asking about the fruit teas and she recommended the grapefruit because I wanted something less sweet. Overall the fruit teas were good maybe next time I may just try the matcha next time to test out the sweetness.
