The service was good, but I can't justify giving more than 2 stars for my powder-based taro drink. I was misled, thinking it would be like the Tea Station at another location in Torrance that closed down, but it wasn't the same. I'm a bit conflicted posting this review. I love Tea Station drinks and am rarely disappointed by them. I judge tea places based on their green tea (plain, no milk). Oftentimes, straight green tea will taste watered down and/or flavorless, but this Tea Station's green tea does not disappoint. It's flavorful and perfectly sweet at 50% sugar. The boba here is also quite tasty, with the perfect amount of chewiness. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out their regular size is what used to be their large size (at least at Gardena, Cerritos, and Temple City locations) and their large size is SUPER large -- it's so wide and contains so much caffeine that it takes me two days to drink. If I were basing this review just off the drinks, Tea Station would easily get 5 stars. Unfortunately, I tried their food. The location is pretty bare bones, but I decided to give them benefit of the doubt and ordered two meals (3 cup chicken and Taiwanese sausage) and a side of popcorn chicken. The food was mediocre at best. The one positive is that you can add a green or black tea for $1...but even then I won't be ordering it again. The popcorn chicken was tasty, but the portion was incredibly small...a tiny paper bag for $10. 3 stars for the food, thus 4 stars overall. read more

Ordered an almond milk tea with boba which tasted fine but the straw was so small I couldn't taste sip any of the boba without clogging the straw. The interior wasn't updated at all and had menus that were confusing to read. The cashier was nice but wasn't much help when deciding what flavor to pick since it was my first time. read more

Tea station has a special place in my heart because it's one of the OG tea places I used to go to all the time. Glad they opened one in Torrance after hearing they closed a majority of them. Got the brown sugar milk tea with boba and green milk tea with boba, both 75% sweet. Definitely sweet enough in my opinion. The brown sugar drink was pretty sweet compared to the green milk tea, but the green milk tea has a nice tea flavor. It doesn't seem like they have food at this location and there aren't really tables to sit. Not sure if this will change in the future. I'm so happy that tea station opened back up. I used to go to all the way to gardena to get their drinks because the quality of the tea is very good. This tea station is run by the same owners that used to own the tea station next to oko and tokyo central. I was so excited to hear that the original owners were finally opening up again. Even after two years of being closed, tea station did not disappoint. We got the 913 oolong milk tea with boba (25% sweet) and the shine grape oolong tea with boba (25% sweet). The 913 is similar to the osmanthus oolong milk tea but less floral. The shine grape was perfect. I'm normally not a fan of oolong tea because it is too bitter, but this one was not over brewed or watered down. The owner even explained to us that the grape flavor is from the tea itself, not from artificial syrups. The owners and all the workers were very helpful and friendly. They told us about their new drinks and were very patient with us. I know some people may think the prices are too high, but as someone who has always loved boba and still does, any other place now has the same prices, it's really just inflation unfortunately. For the quality of their drinks, tea station is worth the price and visit. read more

Absolutely delighted this particular TS branch run by the current couple Yuki and her husband who owns this location has finally opened! I will be coming here again as frequently as I used to! This particular location is run by the previous TS location managers where Sea Empress plaza is. I have been waiting for them to open here! Even though TS is a franchise, every location can differ and I love the care and the attention this location's owners pay to tea. I'm more of a tea person and boba is just extra. The tea at this TS tastes more fresh than the other TS locations that I have frequented. While they have reduced menu at this time, they still got the essential drinks. I'm looking forward once they start offering snacks on menu. Very happy their Tea Station opened in Torrance! I will be returning for tea here often! read more

This place is so convenient to have in West Torrance! I would recommend the fresh milk brown sugar boba or the green milk tea. I've noticed they make their drinks way sweeter than the other location or other boba places . I'm usually a 75% sweet person but I would maybe do it less sweet at this place. read more

Tea Station is awesome! I didn't know that the original Tea Station was closedown in Gardena. I used to go there after grocery shopping or light/ late lunch. It was a surprise for me when I walked in to ask for help with my friend's baby shower order. The lady, Yuki, and other guys were very nice and willing to work with me for my order. They even allowed me to get the order a little bit early than their store hours so that I could prepare the party before it started! Of course, the drinks were tasty! I ordered regular milk tea & green passion fruit tea with bobas, 3-color jellies, & black jelly for options. I couldn't thank them enough that they helped to make my friend's baby shower a hit! I rarely write reviews but this place deserves 5 stars! Over the past couple months I've noticed a ton of new boba places opening up but Tea Station is by far the best milk tea joint in the area! The quality and service is unparalleled. We got the milk green tea with boba and their butter milk toast. Very high quality tea and the boba was sweet and chewy. Butter toast was made fresh so it was nice and toasty. I missed this! Can't wait to come back! read more

Got a taro drink. It was made from powder, which is ok, though many places now make the taro drink with fresh taro. The powder was way too concentrated and a lot of it was not dissolved. My first two sips were big powder lumps. Boba balls are just ok as well. Price point $6.25 for a cup of powder drink is not worth revisiting. My husband got a Thai tea, which also tasted like a powder mix. It didn't have the fresh tea aroma. read more

I was so sad when the location closed down on Gardena during the pandemic. They re-located to this location which is in the back-corner of a plaza. I am so happy they opened back up again, Tea Station is still one of my favorite go-to boba spots! This tea station is unlike the few others in the LA area. The store decoration is spartan and it looks like it just opened a few weeks ago. But the quality of the tea exceeds all other options in South Bay. The leader in South Bay is Yi-Fang; Tea Station looses in consistency and consistent high quality if the entire menu. But this Tea Station has better tea & larger portion. They are not as consistent (sugar levels vary between orders) and some teas (the fruit tea uses canned peach which totally tanks the flavor). But the other fresh fruit teas (lemon & pineapple) was just better. read more

Teastation has always had amazing tea and its apparent its fresh brew tea and hand made. Their prices are higher than others but I don't have milk tea too often so when I do I want it to be worth it. There are a lot of new boba places popping up in Torrance and a lot of new competition and to be fair I haven't tried Amai yet, but Teastation is always a hit. Their drinks by % are more sweeter than others (I usually order 75% sweetness but I go 50% here). Their owners are very sweet and nice as well and same people from Gardena Redondo Beach Blvd location. They seem to be a family and I'd love to support them just for that reason. This new tea station is owned by the original owners of the Gardena location. Owners are so friendly like back then and it brings back so many good memories. The tea and the boba were incredibly good. They imported new special teas that you can't get any where else. My friend and I tried the 913 oolong milk tea, osmanthus oolong, and the shine grape oolong tea. 100/10 would recommend the shrine grape oolong tea. The grape flavor doesn't come from syrups, it's actually infused in the tea itself. If you're looking for good quality tea and boba, this is your new GO-TO boba place. It's a huge disappointment. I ordered a hot oolong tea latte and the taste is not even close to good. Ten-ren is famous of its tea yet I can barely taste the tea flavor. Super water down and it's 8 dollar something. It taste so bad that I didn't even want the point card to be loyal to it. I have way better choices in Southbay. Was patiently waiting for more boba places to open up in Torrance and then this little gem popped up near my apartment. Has a good selection of teas and offers 10% discount to students. Boba is good and chewy and tea is roasted and fresh. Favorite drink is rose milk green tea. They also have some food choices.
