I was craving something sweet and came across Presotea! We luckily came before a rush could start so I was able to take my time deciding what I wanted to order. The interior is so spacious and had a couple of self serve kiosks along with some snacks you're able to buy separately which I found pretty neat. I got the Avocado Coconut Cream and It was just so perfect!! The avocado flavor was subtle, creamy, and tasted fresh, while the coconut added the perfect touch of sweetness -- such a perfect balance between flavors without overpowering one another. What I appreciated most was the texture of the drink, most smoothies I've tried from boba shops have been milky or just straight ice, however at Presotea I like how thick and creamy it was without melting too fast. I was able to enjoy my drink over some time without feeling rushed to finish it before it went bad. I'd also like to add that what made my experience so much better was the quality of service! Before going with my drink, I took some time debating between two other drinks and Dave, who took our order, suggested the Avocado Coconut Cloud! Not only was he patient with me but also so knowledgeable about what drink I would enjoy the most based on preferences I gave him. Happy Re-Grand Opening Presotea Torrance! Today Presotea Torrance celebrated their re-grand opening. They're under new ownership and the owner is a South Bay local who really wants to promote the community. The celebration was a perfect way to celebrate community, good vibes and treats! It also happened to be National Boba Day! I got their Mango Cloud and also tried the Bubble Waffle with strawberries and bubble. I really enjoyed both. The Mango Cloud was refreshing. The topping of boba and lychee jelly were so soft and chewy. Equally as delightful was the bubble waffle. It was sweet and tasty. The good flavor was enhanced with the strawberries and boba. I'm happy I was able to join in today's re-grand opening celebration and hope to be back soon for more tasty boba treats! read more

I like Presotea and some of their drink offerings. Unfortunately, this location seems to have a hard time meeting customer service expectations. Every time that I've been to this location, there seems to always be a small crowd waiting to get their order completed. Today was extremely bad as they were working on a 20 drink online order without addressing those that were in the store waiting for their single drink. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my order which is unacceptable. I don't necessarily blame the workers as they seem to be doing their best. Having just 2 employees working on fulfilling orders may not be the right number or the methodology of fulfilling drink orders may not be the most efficient. I caution those that come into this store that if you see more than 5 people waiting in the store, it may be a minimum 10 minute wait. In my case, it was 34 minutes. read more

It's really hard finding bubble tea shops that have Hojicha or Genmaicha, let alone both! Thankfully Presotea offers both, so I no longer have to wait for one of my trips to Bopomofo to enjoy my favs! Presotea is located across from Starbucks and next to Bafang. I'll usually get some steamed and fried dumplings at Bafang and then finish it off with a milk tea from Presotea, a winning combination. There's a menu to your right as you walk in, and to the left are some kiosks to order from, along with some nice benches to wait while they make your tea. The store is very bright and happy. The workers there also match the ambiance, wing very friendly and extremely good at their craft. My one takeaway from this cafe is that the tea connoisseurs put a lot of care into their craft, and it shows. read more

The drinks were very aesthetically pleasing, and they were also delicious. My slush was very refreshing, I got mango pineapple. Worst experience I've ever had at a boba shop. I visited Presotea on a busy Sunday and ordered with the cashier instead of using the iPad kiosk. The worker who took my order was a gentleman with many facial piercingshe --gave me the worst possible experience and made ordering so unnecessarily confusing. I ordered 2 Pearl Milk Teas. When I asked for one of the drinks to be 50% sweet, he randomly said he'd make it a Ceylon tea instead. He told me it was the same thing as a Pearl Milk Tea. I was confused as I just wanted to order a normal Pearl Milk Tea, but he insisted he HAD TO change it to Ceylon. I never asked for that change, but if he says it's the same and would make his life easier, I didn't care. Then he said he'd change the other one to Pearl Milk Tea so I "wouldn't have to pay for Pearl," which made no sense. He kept altering the order on his own, without explanation or permission. One of the drinks was missing boba, and when I pointed it out upon pick up, he told me to "calm down"--even though I was speaking in a normal tone. It felt dismissive and rude. We also ordered a Mango Cloud with no modifications, but he changed it without telling us to 70% sweet and left out the cloud cream altogether. Why would you make random adjustments to a drink without being asked? The order was messed up, the communication was confusing, and the attitude was off-putting. I would not recommend this location, and I definitely won't be returning. Please get this worker some training on how to put in customers' orders properly and what they asked for. read more

This is my favorite boba spot in the city of Torrance. The main reason is that they actually brew the tea, and have Organic Milk as an option. One of my favorite drinks is the Jasmin Green Milk Tea with 0% sugar and honey boba (or aloe jelly) and organic milk - This combination brings out the subtleness of the green tea and the aloe jelly adds just the right amount of sweetness that isn't overpowering. Another one of my favorite drinks is the classic Royal Earl Grey Milk tea, also with 0% sugar, honey boba, and organic milk. The honey boba, orange and bergamot from the earl grey are what give this drink its gentle sweet flavor without offsetting the black tea. But I will warn you, don't get this after 4pm, you won't go to bed until 4am. I normally get my drinks via door dash but recently I had a chance to checkout the venue. It was small with limited seating, making this more of a grab and go place. There is a kiosk that lets you do self-checkout and a lovely server who makes your drinks and answers questions. They are very nice and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this boba spot. and I want to come back to try more of their drinks. read more

Solid place for boba drinks. They have two self serve kiosk stations and you can scan the QR code on the counter to order from your phone as well. You can also order ahead online which is convenient. They have a wide variety of teas, smoothies, etc as well as toppings. You can adjust the ice level and sugar level to your liking. I like how the menu also indicates which drinks are caffeine-free which is helpful especially if you have to order drinks for your kids. My daughter likes the strawberry cloud drink 70% sugar with boba. Their boba is soft and chewy with a nice consistency. I've tried their white peach oolong tea with lychee jelly which I enjoyed. The only downside of this place is that there are no tables to sit at. Just a couple benches where you can sit and wait for your drinks. It's more of a takeout spot and not a place to hang out or get work done. Service at the register is also pretty nonexistent since the workers are busy making drinks and seems like the expectation is to just order from the self serve kiosks. I havent been here in a while. I came back to try the wintermelon hojicha milk tea and the white peach oolong tea with lychee jelly. Too bad they werent serving the bubble waffles right now or I wouldve liked to try that too. Both drinks were tasty but the wintermelon one is sweeter than the white peach. The white peach fruit tea is fragrant with a light taste of white peach. This is still a good drink place choice in the area. I plan on coming back again. They have a very spacious area but theres only two long benches for seating. Theyre now contactless payments so they dont accept cash only card form payments. They have 2 machines for ordering, there is no longer anyone doing face to face at the front register. But they have a great text system through snackpass. Although I've been following this place since 2022, I didn't get the chance to review until now. The teas here are brewed to order, but the strength isn't strong enough for my preference. I'd say the milk teas here are more on the milky side. I've tried almost all their milk teas but my favorites are the fruit based stuff like lychee, champagne, etc. The boba is a little bland, no hint of honey, but it isn't marketed as "honey" boba, so maybe that's why. On the positive note, it's always warm and fresh! They have online or in-person ordering (via tablet). They used to have only one tablet, but now they have 3 side-by-side. There's plenty of parking outside. Super convenient! Since the store is a little small, there are no tables, just benches. So I wouldn't say it's designed for grabbing a drink and doing work. However, if you love fresh tea brewed to order, this store is for you! I do love the tea and staff here but the policy off adding a DOLLAR to the cost of a drink if you want no ice (versus no charge for less ice) is bs and gouging. Ice has a cost, so you're actually saving some money (a small amount but some) by not putting ice in a drink. If it's a matter of the cost of adding more milk, tea base, or what have you, then don't add more of those ingredients to make up for the absence of ice, or give the customer the option like Starbucks does--"leave room" or "no room." It's petty and an exorbitant fee that is disproportionate to the cost of the regular drink! read more

Presotea is a go-to when ordering boba and I love how there are a couple locations in the South Bay. My favorite is the taro cloud, but any of there clouds are amazing. They are creamy and very sweet so I would consider them more of a dessert! You can select the sweetness level, and I LOVE sweets and even at 80% the drink is super sweet so I would keep this in mind. It wasn't until we pointed to their photo did they add some whipped cream but it just melted into nothing anyway. The whole thing was a sloppy, goopy mess at the bottom of the cup. We were in a boba afternoon kind of mood so we popped in for a quick boba and bubble waffle. Ordering is fairly simple at the electronic kiosks. The space itself is clean. Drinks were a little slow, but there were a few online orders ahead of us and only one person working on the drinks. The bubble waffle was nice and hot, served in a cup. Even though it was set up as a to-go waffle, it would have been nice to sit down and enjoy it warm. There is no indoor seating so we had to eat in the car... I ordered a milk tea and a previous comment on app noted no creamer via this app from how long ago and I consistently order the same order without any issues. I waited for my drinks in the lobby. When the worker handed to me and he noticed that it said milk tea in bold and it's just tea. The worker asked for clarification and went ahead to make me a milk tea as indicated. It was a friendly normal exchange. However, the other guy who made my tea wrong who claim he is the manager came and just confronted and try to rest his case with me that all milk tea is made with creamer and I noted it's no creamer on comment from the app. I told him there are options for milk and I thought creamer on subtitle means cream top like the cheese foam or creamer foam on top so the comment was there from the beginning and I have no prior issues with my previous orders. He continue to berated me and belittle me. When I told him to stop and he turned to my teenage son to argue his case after I told him to stop and just wanted our drinks. The staff who remake my drink was kind and apologize for the other guy's behavior. Definitely if that guy is a manager, he needs training on customer services or just ask for clarification before making the drinks or take that confusion out from the menu. I've been really really wanting to try this place for some time. Went today and looked at the menu from the outside and had some questions. I went in and there are some self service kiosk machines but since I had some questions I went the counter. There was a man working there with glasses and opening and closing tea canisters. Decent spot for boba, you can definitely taste the quality of the tea! They have a large variety of drink options and use fresh fruit in their teas. There are several workers making the drinks at different stations so the drinks are made efficiently and come out quickly. I tried the Matcha Cloud and White peach oolong tea and both were decent.
