I just want to say how happy i am to see TeaDM expand their location and business! Eden Center is a bit too far from me, Vienna is decently closer but BAM Fairfax location comes in! Im so excited to get boba from here all the time now! The location is super convenient to my workplace with it being on the way alongside being close to George Mason. I would say TeaDM is one of the few boba places that stays pretty consistent no matter what location you go to, no shade to other:,) I love getting their seasalt drinks. I also recently tried the green thai milk tea and that was also super good! My go to would be their sea salt jasmine tea or cosmopolitea! Always a treat going here for my daily fix of Vietnamese Coffee for the car ride back home. Their customer service is great compared to most boba spots in the area where the management does not seem to be terrible as I've worked in a boba shop with terrible management. The workers actually seem like they enjoy working here. The only knock I'd have on TeaDM is that some drinks are pre made in batches like their Green Thai tea and almost all their drinks aside from a few have non dairy creamer added. If you're ordering with family or with friends of 5 or more I'd recommend putting it all one tab and doing buy 4 get 1 free and splitting the tab. For drinks I'd recommend their brown sugar oat milk tea, brown sugar organic milk, seasalt matcha and any of their seasalt coffee selections though! All good choices in my opinion. read more

Drinks were good and place is clean but parking in front is difficult, you will have to go to the back by the Giant. My main complaint is how little product I am actually getting. As seen in the picture. they didnt even bother topping off the drinks to the top, there's all this space. Then when I finished my drink, you can see how half of the cup is ICE. read more

OMG! I have been dying to try this place out because they finally opened this location near me. The cashier man who took my order was so nice!! The drinks took less than 10 minutes to come out and boy oh boy, it did not disappoint! The interior decor was so cute with a bit of spooky vibes. Thankful to have this location so close to me and also happen to be right next to my gym that I go to almost every day! This is my go for my viet coffees and they do it right. I also appreciate their opening hours- they open quite early for a bubble tea spot but also very helpful because I need my coffees in the mornings! We got the Moonlight Mango and Shooting Star (with roasted oolong tea). The Moonlight mango tasted like your typical mango tea, with a stronger hint of mango than tea. Actually, I couldn't taste any tea in this one. I could taste some tea bitterness in our Shooting Star, probably because it's oolong tea and I had it 25% sweetness compared to 50% for the moonlight mango. But again, doesn't taste any different than the mango tea that we normally get in many other tea places. They weren't bad, but also wasn't mind-blowing. They have a deal where you buy 4 and get 1 free, which applies to any 5 items. So we took advantage of that. For 5 drinks total (1 for free), we paid about $26. As you can see in the menu pics, they have two option sizes. The regular plastic cups (which is what we got) are 24 oz and the price differs between tea, milk tea, and certain other drinks. The slightly larger size in a bottle form is 26 oz, which is only a little bit more expensive. They also have caffeine-free options for certain drinks - good for late night drink. You could adjust the sugar and ice levels. Compared to some places, they don't seem to have as many options, which isn't a bad thing. They have a whole side of menu of seasalt coffee and other drinks. They got two floors, which allows more space and an area to avoid being surrounded by customers in lines. read more

I've been going to the Eden Center location since it opened years ago, but when they opened up in Vienna and Fairfax, I was so excited! Now that I've moved to Oakton, this one and Vienna are super close to me. My go-to for caffeine: seasalt coffee or the seasalt black coffee. Milk tea favorite: strawberry milk tea with the sea salt cream. Favorite fruit teas: Rated R, Shooting Star, or MC Loving. My friends also like the Cosmpolitea and Moonlight Mango. The seasalt cream is always really good on the coffees or milk teas, and for fruit teas, I usually will add crystal boba or the jellies. If you ever visit any of the locations, definitely try it out! They're my favorite bubble tea spots in the Northern Virginia area :) read more

All Tea DM locations are always reliable. My favorite is the Vietnamese ready to drink coffee that I find to be the best at Tea DM! Otherwise, all fruit or milk teas have always been reliable with good portions provided and accurate representations of ice and sugar quantities requested. I always parking in the parking garage and walk over as the availability of the few spots out front can be hit or miss. I also find entering and exiting from Pickett is just easier! 9/11/21 We decided to check out this new location. The location is in a fantastic spot and will attract all kinds of business. People were out in waves celebrating; as well, as paying their respects to those who died on this day 20 years ago. The place is clean and organized. They also have a second floor to sit down and relax. I also saw the bathrooms are both unisex. Upon looking at the menu, I saw drinks have ice added to the drinks but there are no slushie like drinks. Slushie drinks are my favorite type of tea drinks. Since this place did not have it, I had to leave without getting a drink. I can only drink certain types of tea, and I did not see those options here. read more

Service is great and employees are nice. Ask for a recommendation if you've never gone to a boba tea place before. The place is small sized but offers two bathrooms towards the front. If you plan on staying after getting your boba, head upstairs for some seating. I myself don't really like a lot of the options provided here. Just about all of the fruit teas (including the color switch lemonade) are either sour or not very sweet at all even with 100% sugar which is unfortunate to me because I love fruit teas. Their milk teas however are on the sweet side and pair so very nicely with their soft and sugary honey boba (some of the best boba I've ever had!) and the sea salt cream. I personally love the red Thai tea here. On the other hand I found the taro milk tea to be disappointing and do not recommend it if you're a taro fanatic. I'll also note that I found this place to be more affordable than most boba tea shops around (I hate paying $7+ for a single drink) and their cup size is pretty large yet you're paying for a medium. read more

So happy Tea DM is expanding and they've opened another spot! Just like their Falls Church and Vienna locations, this one is fun, bright, and blasts EDM music. They've adapted to covid times with online ordering and ordering from a kiosk too. There is parking in front of the shop as well as a nearby garage. On this visit we ordered a lavender milk tea and a mango slushie, both with boba. The bubble teas were well made and tasty. I usually get a Taro milk tea and wanted to mix things up. I used to trek all the way to vienna or eden center for TeaDM boba but this is so much closer & so convienient! I come at least once a week after I do grocery shopping at Giant. Service is always wonderful & quick. My favorite non-milk teas are anteaoxidant & peach partea. For milk teas, my go-tos are the rose milk tea & green Thai tea with sea salt cream. You can never go wrong with the seasalt coffee is youre looking for a pick-me-up. For the summer, I've been OBSESSED with their avolcano (avocado smoothie) but beware, they only have it sometimes when their avocado is ripe. I usually customize the sweetness levels between 25%-75% depending on how I feel that day & they've been pretty good at accommodating! Located below an apartment complex, there is plenty of side street and garage parking available at this location. Love that they have a variety of flavors and options to customize, plus some of them are so aesthetically pleasing to look at. Although I know boba chains are a dime in a dozen, love that TeaDM has flavors/aesthetic drinks unique to their chain, plus it's one of the few chains around here that sells assam black tea. I like many of their drinks here, but the Earl Grey Milk Tea is inedible. It tastes like soap, artificial, and possibly low quality or it was not brewed right. I always had great experiences at the other 2 locations, but today I am really disappointed of the service up front. They were not busy at all and our son spent 20 minutes in there and i don't know what they were doing. We had to wait for him outside and we waited for a really long time.
