I am thoroughly impressed with TeaLatte Bar. I am usually skeptical when it comes to boba shops in the US, but I really enjoyed my drink here today. I ordered their Genmaicha milk tea with 25% sweetness and whole milk. It was so good and refreshing. You can tell they really brew the tea and care about the quality and not just throw cheap ingredients into one cup for you. My drink was refreshing and tasty - it doesn't leave me thirsty afterwards so I know they used real ingredients. It was well worth the price I paid it for given its high quality. I also loved how they sample their teas and have tea leaves available for customers to smell. When it comes to buying boba drinks, I am a huge fan of leaf tea-based rather than fruit teas/smoothies. I will say TeaLatte really exceeded my expectations and I am definitely coming back. Highly recommend this place for fellow tea lovers who are tired of going to tea/boba chain shops. read more

I used to frequent this place a few times a week, but not so much anymore because the drinks are not consistent and the employees here just are not friendly and seem to hate their job. I came in today to get a couple of my usual drinks and one of the drinks didn't taste anything like what I normally get: mango jasmine tea. I then proceeded to ask the girl to make me another one. She gave the drink to her coworker and explained to her that I wanted it remade. Her coworker then started rolling her eyes and shaking her head and seemed VERY annoyed that she had to remake the drink. It just wasn't very professional since I was literally standing there watching her. I've been waiting to try this place for quite some time now. We got the oolong grape tea and the osmanthus tea with boba and no sugar. The tea itself is supposedly brewed to order, but the tea has very little tea flavor. It was quite watery. The boba was okay, it tasted somewhat like raisins. The drinks were decently priced. I think people mainly go here for their sugary drinks, so if you like sugary drinks then I would give this place a try! The interior is worth checking out! read more

This place is so cute and has great ambiance. I absolutely love the interior, and they offer a lot of different teas. You can even customize your tea flavors! My favorite is their passion orange guava tea. They recently added new toppings (they now have aloe!) The teas are good, and there's definitely a lot that I would want to try. This place is past all the shopping complex and feels like a standalone place. It is across from a Starbucks, which I felt was like a bold move on their part. None the less, everyone is greeted with a smile and a welcome. The workers made the place feel a bit open and friendly, and they had mini samples of two to three flavors of their top drinks. That to me shows the character of they are caring and open to bring new customers that are in pursuit of a new flavor. I was a bit disappointed that I did not try the sample until I ordered my drink. The two teas were probably flavors that they were testing out, and it worked really well. One thing I can possibly appreciate at this place was, with all the people that were there no one was really loud. In most crowded spots, it is usually loud, but this place felt like a fancy restaurant. I am not saying everyone whispered, it is more of I did not have to jump over the table to hear my friends say something. I ended up getting my normal favorite the Thai Tea, but wait! the twist is that this is a Thai Tea Slushi! YES, SLUSHIE FORM OF THAI TEA! It was probably the most creamiest Thai Tea I have ever tasted. The only issue was rgR, just like any slushie, the flavor lasts only like 5 minutes until the whole thing is just a cup of unflavored shaved ice particles. I think, in that case, it is best that they make slushies in pure form rather than pour the flavor over slushi ice. That would have solved that issue and made it even better! Aside from that, the place is a great place to just relax and do homework or just get some good drinks! read more

I really wanted to love this one, because it's organic tea. But I just didn't find a flavor that I actually loved, mostly because they were too sweet. It's was just ok, and believe me I tried many! ‍ the good points: they have free WiFi, prices are about the same to other tea stores, they have plenty of toppings, they do sampling of usually a type of milk tea and fruity one. The not so good points: it's pretty popular so it gets busy pretty easily, you might not find a spot to seat, it has very limited options of food (only sweets, and I personally did not like them it didn't felt tasty and they were a bit on the dry side). I did try the blue lemonade and I liked, although it was a bit sweet. read more

They have a very nice selection of toppings to choose from, including some harder to find options like matcha boba, small boba, and of course many flavors of popping boba /jellies. I think they really shine in their milk teas here, they do come out a bit sweet which I like, but consider asking for reduced sweet levels if you don't. My go to is the hojicha milk tea ( roasted tea) with matcha boba. Great place to chill/study/hangout. read more

Their boba seems just a tad sweeter than the competition, but you can still customize the sweetness levels of their drinks. It's nice that they offer non-dairy options like coconut milk, when I need to get a hot latte. Really cool that they offer samples to try out, like daily tea specials and the boba flavors. On a recent view, I tried the Death Wish Coffee in latte form; not too strong to cause jitters, it kept me awake on the long drive home. Another great addition to Carrollton's boba choices and probably top tier. We walked in and the had an odorous smell in the area, but the surrounding felt like a coffee shop. Wide variety menu, but I narrowed it down the the mango kumquat green tea with crystal and matcha boba. Only place that I've seen with matcha boba and the consistency was good as well. The tea is fresh and the samples with the milk tea/winter melon were really good too The staff didn't seem too caring to be there, but I appreciate their swiftness. Not sure if the workers didn't make my milk tea right, but the two times I got my bubble tea here (I got taro and hokkaido with tapioca) they weren't too mind-blowing. Do I just have to get their tea stuff? I had really high expectations from all the good ratings but I am disappointed. Hokkaido MT had overcooked boba and not a strong enough flavor that stood out. I really wanted to like this place so when I tried it the second time, I felt the gritty taro powder grains or whatever it is whenever I chewed the boba. I've gone to sooo many boba shops and I'm glad I was recommended this place because I can confidentially say this is my go-to milk tea place (around the Dallas area)!!!! I've had their jasmine milk tea, Black milk tea, and Thai tea. ALL of them were good and I'm not even a big black milk tea fan. A lot of boba shops can't make Thai tea good in my opinion so I can tell when one's good and they make it good here. Now for the jasmine milk tea, I'm very particular on how it tastes. Some use a different jasmine tea that I don't like but this place... they use the one I like and they make it freaking good too. It's like crack to me! They make it not too sweet and the tea taste isn't strong either. No bitter aftertaste! So many I've tried at other places where there's a strong bitter aftertaste and I hate it. ALSO, their service is awesome. The first time I was there, it didn't seem like they added sugar in it so I told them and they made me a new one and it tasted splendid. The boba shop offers organic drinks and a cozy interior, but don't let that distract from the flaws of their drinks. The drinks are pretty hit or miss, but mostly miss (if they manage to get your order right the first time.) The boba often comes out hard and the drinks watery. I heard this place just opened up and I needed to try it. My fav boba place has always been Fat Straws but I'm always on the lookout to see if any other boba placed come close. The cool thing about this boba spot is that they have interesting fillings like mini tapioca bubbles. They have an interesting texture and I quite enjoyed it. All of their drinks come in one size so you don't get to choose if you want a small size drink. However, you can customize the sugar and ice levels. read more

I was so excited to try this place out! Service was good and the boba texture was great. If you've drank boba enough, you'll know what I mean when I say some boba can be too soft or too hard. This one was perfect. We got the Honolulu tea with a sea salt topping and a Wakiki Sunset with star jellies. It was really strange how the star jellies could not fit through the straw so it was difficult drinking it! I did not like the Honolulu because personally it tasted a little bit like what I imagine playdo would taste like. The sunset was good, but a little too sweet. I will have to come back and try more drinks because they have such a big menu and nice staff! You can always adjust how sweet you want your drink to be which is great! read more

This place is tucked away inside the neighborhoods of Carrollton, but don't let that stop you from making a visit when you get a chance! They have death wish coffee! Which is one of the strongest coffee brands you can get!! Be careful though because it will give you so much energy you won't know what to do with it?! I've tried and loved the winter melon, Hong Kong, and taro milk tea!! I will be back to try more! If it's your first time make sure you give these a try! They have awesome board games and decor! Group is very unsanitary and extremely poor customer service. Order drinks with light ice, ordered light ice next server filled up cup with ice. When I advised server if that is mine I requested light ice. Server did not acknowledge mistake instead proceeded to say I am the manager and we have ice options at register. When browsing Instagram, saw an ad about this place selling the Pokemon themed macarons. This triggered my eagerness to try this place. Went to this place around 8.30 pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was less crowded and the ambience was modern & amazing..Ordered just the Pokemon Macarons. The price was little on the higher side around $3 for a macaron but I could understand that it's because of the Pokemon theme on the top. The macaron was fresh and crisp. The cream inside the macaron is really good and not too creamy. They have something like corn infuser between the macaron which is very unique and special that added to the flavor.
