Our quick trip to Boba Tea & Treats was pleasant, although I wouldn't particularly recommend this location for a sit down experience. The main wall was very cute with the logo of a cat holding its boba tea ready for a photo op experience; however, the remaining inner decor was just "okay." Some of it even still had visible price tags on it. The service was quick and friendly, and my drink, the sexy night, was delicious! A very refreshing combination of lychee and berry green tea. We were at the Anime Shop next door and waiting around and decided to stop by for a drink! Best Find Ever! They have a great Top 15 drink menu (I will include in this post). I was here with my daughter and we were really thirsty! Only on size so you don't have to make that decision. Easy to order and they will walk you thru the customization of your drink if you so desire. Didn't really find treats but it's right next door to Best Thai and we glanced over the menu and had amazing savory foods! I admit that I only really like a fruit tea with popping boba. So I ordered the Berry Promise tea with mango boba. It was ok, not great. The popping boba was a mix of deflated and small boba. I was in major withdrawal during our Snowpocalypse of 2021 and luckily this place was right next door to the ramen place my son and I went to for our lunch date. My previous review was a bit harsh, and I have come to realize that I'm just not a big fan of the pearls from anywhere except Tiger Sugar. I prefer the the herbal jelly or the flavored jellies. I got the Golden Milk Tea again and it has remained delicious. Although, next time, I would get it a little less sweet. I prefer most if my drinks 50% sweet. Cute little boba shop conjoined with Best Thai restaurant next door. Was craving boba and was in the area so decided to try out the place. When walking in, the place was dead and there were no other customers. It seemed like there was also only one girl behind the counter. The service was okay. She took our order and got our drinks out quickly. The boba was definitely not great quality. We ordered a caramel milk tea and a Vietnamese coffee, both with boba. The drinks tasted nothing like any other milk tea or Vietnamese coffee I've ever had before. The Vietnamese coffee was a strange, darker than usual color but also the worst part, had a distinct sour taste that was just difficult to drink. The milk tea also had the same taste but was more bearable. The boba tasted old and was not flavored correctly. Would not recommend this place! They need to change their drink formulas! Or maybe their drinks were premade and old. Either way, learned a lesson and probably will not return. read more

They have a great selection of non-tea boba drinks but quite limited on teas. Wish they offered more variety like oolong or jasmine tea. I ended up getting thai tea with regular boba. The drink was a little on the sweeter side, so maybe ask for less sweet if you don't like your boba too sweet. They also put A LOT of boba! This is something I shouldn't complain about as a boba lover but I only bring it up because the boba kept getting stuck in straw so I couldn't get to the drink as easily. Arrived at 4:00 & noticed that tables and floors are sticky and dirty. Employees are just hanging around, talking among each other which is fine, however they need to watch their language when little kids are in the establishment. We heard a lot of cursing coming from one individual. This was very inappropriate and unprofessional. The manager may need to train them better when customers are around and have them wipe down tables when they are just standing around doing nothing. This boba shop is attached to a cute little Thai Restuarant which is awesome! I ordered a dairy-free strawberry pina colada smoothie and told the woman making them not to add sugar. She looked me in the eye and said everything is fresh and they don't add any sugar. So I got my drink and it tasted like maple syrup with coconut creme. I was going to keep it because I really didn't want to take it back but after taking the second sip, I got out of my car and told the lady it was too sweet. She took the cup and made me another one which was still too sweet. I gave up and drank the drink to my dismay because I really just wanted a smoothie. Great store, cute decor, friendly service (Minh-Van was lovely!), they offer various types of boba teas AND what they call Snow Fluff (sometimes aka known as Taiwanese Snow Ice)!!! As someone who is slightly lactose tolerant, I was more than pleased to find that every menu item is Vegan (means even Milk Tea is dairy free). And, they only have fruits that are currently in season - very fresh! The Strawberry Green Tea had fresh diced berries floating on top and perfect boba at the bottom to suck up. Very tasty and served in the classic cups with the airtigt sealed top. A small Snow Fluff (not so small!) with 3 free toppings of choice was only $4.50! Quite the affordable treat! The taro fluff with honey boba, popping boba, and rainbow jelly was simply delicious. The fluff was a little more dense than I've grown accustomed to at another place (i.e., Snow Monster in Austin, TX) - perhaps because Boba Treats forces it into such a small container - but I strongly feel the flavors were much better...especially the Taro Fluff. Oh. So. Good. :-) When I visit Dallas, I often stay in Addison. Why it took me so long to discover Boba Tea Treats is beyond me. Been meaning to give this place a try (connected to Best Thai) and I really wanted to like it, but my taro smoothie was awful. It tasted like watered down slushie with bland, overcooked boba. Maybe I'm spoiled by Fat Straws and Kung Fu tea tapioca, but this was bad enough I only took 2 sips at most and threw it away. (And if you know me and my boba addiction, I don't waste boba)! The girl (although sweet) was really flustered. Lines kept forming. She kept rushing to take orders and make drinks. There are times when she will say "I'll take the next order," but actually still trying to get the current customer to sign off on the credit card receipt. Then she'll say, "one moment please" once the customer tries to order. She called out "small taro smoothie" (my order), but once I got to the counter she just barely put my drink into a blender ...so I pretty much stood there waiting. Kinda felt bad for the girl. Cute boba shop connected to Best Thai! They have milk tea, regular teas (black, green, or white tea), smoothies, and slushes. I ordered the mango green tea, which was about $3.50 and added boba for fifty cents extra. There's no option to decrease sweetness, but you can add sweetness if you like your drinks extra sweet! My drink was very good and not as sweet as I thought it would be, which was a huge plus. The boba was the perfect texture and also sweet. Given that there are SO MANY amazing options for Bubble teas and Boba nowadays in this area, I had to give this 4 stars as there is still room for improvement. The overall environment is cute and cozy which I appreciated but the actual drink itself could be better. One thing I did appreciate was the customization without annoyance. What I mean is you can ask for light ice, more ice, semi sweet, extra sweet, etc without them getting irritated if you ask to change something. Flavors are okay but that's what they could improve on. Sometimes competition is necessary, being the only boba tea place in Addison have made this place lazy. For a location with boba in the title, it is disappointing to see that their boba is not up to par. The boba was old and hard, with an overwhelming coffee taste, that changed the flavor of my coconut taro smoothie. The golden milk tea, aka classic milk tea, with egg pudding was always a let down. The pudding is also hard, that it can't even go through the straw. This place is actually own by Best Thai, which is directly connected to the restaurant.
