This is the second time I've been to Tealux and I am so impressed I had to write a second review! The first time I had their milk tea, which was good. This time I had their fruit tea with popping boba. My son had a passion fruit tea with strawberry boba. We both loved it. They had chunks of fruit in the tea along with the boba. It really added to the drink. The ladies that work their are so kind. They let me sample their crystal boba. I am pretty sure you can sample everything! I also love their reusable cups. The tea is a little expensive, especially the milk tea made from powder (which tastes good, but it's a bummer that it means you can't change the sweetness), but the food is a great price, so it just about balances out. I had the special blend, which was yummy--caramely and floral. I also liked the taste of my husband's jasmine milk tea. I was especially impressed by the "canary" tea that we got our kids. I think the fruit teas take more of the spotlight here. The boba is also pricey, but well-made. And the beautiful reusable cups for the large size helps make it worth it! And, of course, the small/regular size is cheaper, so that helps the pricing even out, too. We also ordered the egg banh mi, the bulgogi banh mi, and the popcorn chicken. All good! Nice textures, freshness, and flavor. The popcorn chicken, especially, was a nice surprise of sweet batter and tangy hot sauce on the side. The service was overwhelmed on the day of the soft opening when we went, but they remained courteous and worked steadily! Very convenient location for us. The ambiance is very hip, but the seating feels a little limited (although, again, the soft opening was crowded!) Excited to see what the karaoke room experience will be like! We read about the delicious Special bin mah, so we split one between us and ordered a Vietnamese noodle soup from their special menu and both were outstanding. I tried the Luna tea and was impressed by the little lychee stuffed with rosemary on top. The tea was worthy of its name. On our way out, the shopkeeper handed us a sample of her tofu dessert! Since that first visit, we've been back multiple times, ordering more items from the special Vietnamese menu and other items from their "street food" menu. Their dark roast Vietnamese coffee will knock your socks off! The Rice Paper Salad is truly special and is now one of our go-to items. It's loaded with scrambled egg, so if you don't like the smell of egg, don't order it! Tofu dessert is also a go-to and has a perfect "sting" of fresh ginger, soft tofu and sweet syrup. The bahn mi sandwiches are perfectly made, exactly the same each time. The French bread crust has a perfect crisp with a delicate, soft inside. You can order your bahn mi spicy, or not... they always ask! You will be greeted with a smile, your order will be mostly handed to you, over the counter, so don't be offended! The service is as friendly as it gets and they appreciate hearing that you like their food. Noted, this was the second day they were open. The interior was very basic and cute. There were a few tables and chairs. I was surprised to see the workers children running around the store and in and out of the kitchen. We purchased a Islander Fruit tea and Strawberry Milk tea. Islander - overall good flavor, very fruity, moderately sweet. It did not come with the fruit garnishes seen in the picture, which was disappointing. There was a orange slice at the bottom and a few pieces of unripe diced mango. For $7 it was overpriced. Strawberry milk tea- Great flavor, very refreshing and was a standard milk tea. Wait time- We waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks. When we got there I wish someone would've mentioned that there was about a 20 minute wait for drinks, we would've went elsewhere. read more

I heard from friends about this place and kept seeing how busy it was while driving on Manchester road so I decided to stop by! The space is clean, bright, fun, and plenty of spots for dine in. Staff were very nice and helpful with recommendations. Also, if you're on the fence with which drink you'd like, they let you try a sample which I appreciate because they have a lot of great options. I ordered the matcha milk tea and the fried butter corn. Both were fantastic. The tea wasn't too sweet either for my taste and the cups are really cute and reusable! The drink itself was premade I believe so if you need adjustments in taste I can't speak to that but the tea was just right for me. I really like that there is a nice selection for eats on their menu from sandwiches to street eats. The corn was great and had good flavor. Yum! I went with the Luna tea, and it is so refreshing! It is different from fruit teas from other places and do not have that artificial taste though I really didn't watch how they make this drink and i have no clue what butterfly pea tea is or tastes like but overall, I like it! Also tried the marigold which is great! I feel the fresh fruit is always a good idea. I will try a milk tea next time and see what the boba is about (i feel I'm particular when it comes to this too, so i guess I'll found out). We tried the combo banh mi, and I don't have anything bad to say about it! I am no business person by any means, but if all drink recipes are solidified and all staff are trained properly to make them consistent (flavors, sweetness levels, fruit, etc), I think this establishment can be very successful. (For example, my friend ordered a luna tea at regular sweetness and i ordered mine at 50%, and it tasted the same). Adding and rotating out different Vietnamese dishes will bring another special element that other places lack. So, excited to see how Tealux will evolve! read more

So this is only day 2 of business. They are working out the kinks. Manager not very friendly but perhaps overwhelmed by all the business. Fella at register needs more education on contents of Vietnamese food. Food was very good. I got rice rolls, large serving. The Jasmine boba was delicious. I had seen this place on Instagram and was in the area so I thought I'd try it. It took a lot longer than it should have to order since there were only two parties in front of me. I ordered a coconut smoothie and inquired about whether or not it is dairy-free and was told that it is. It was $8.XX with tax which is really pricey for what I got. I would have ordered food to try something, but I heard her tell the party two in front of me that it would be at least 15 minutes so I skipped it for this trip. I waited a bit to receive my smoothie, but it didn't seem quite as long as the wait to order. I heard the employees talking, and one said to another that the recipes weren't great when there was a problem getting two smoothies in a row out of the blender so I got a little nervous. I was a little disappointed that the narrow cup wasn't filled to the top considering how much I paid for it, but what was I supposed to do? Anyway, the taste was good. My only real complaint was that there were lots and lots of large chunks of ice which told me that it wasn't blended enough. I'd go try it again if I was in the area, but I definitely wouldn't make a special trip. Bonus - the cup and lid (the non-generic ones) are very cute although the lid pops off very easily so be careful. read more

I got bubble tea and chicken here. The staff was nice and there was plenty of staff working, so the wait was about 10 minutes with another large party there. The cups are very pretty and the drinks are creative. The chicken was alright, not the best chicken I've ever had. The decor was nice and the colors of the store really did seem like you were stepping into a luxury experience. Parking is extremely limited so try to go when it's slower. read more
