Team All Star Construction was on it! They replaced my roof in three days and they were really easy to work with. AND best of all, the roof is really beautiful! Larry is a champ and a really great guy, so doing business with this crew was the best and I would do it again. Plus, as I said, the roof looks amazing!! Thanks guys!!

We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the work that Team All Star construction did in our house and yard. They were very fast, efficient, and professional. We definitely recommend them if you are considering getting work done on your home. We will be using them for future home projects. They are honest and flexible.

How they left the mess daily Team All Star Construction

After we received multiple bids to have our roof replaced we chose Larry with Team All Star. We told Larry we wanted a contractor who did all their own work in house. Larry assured us he did not sub contract anything out. We also wanted to make sure we would be able to communicate with the crew. Larry told us that his crew were white guys in our area. After we signed the contract 3 weeks had passed and we had not heard from Larry so we called him. We were told they were just finishing a job and they would call us next week. They never called. It was 3 mored weeks before he called and said they would be there starting the following Monday. The guys who showed up to do the tear off brought a little utility trailer had to run to the dump every few hours. The roofers showed up and unable to start since tear off guys were not close to being done. I got home from work when one one of the tear off guys came and told me he lost his footing and went through the ceiling in my custom kitchen. They didn't bother to cover the roof where they left for the night it was very windy and it was such a mess. I cleaned it up several times but since there was now a hole we could see through and things kept falling through I gave. I had to call my husband who works nights and let him know. He called Larry who didn't know anything about it. Larry called my husband back and was quick to correct him and tell him they didn't fall through the roof but slipped and stepped through. Not sure there is a difderence when there is a hole you can see out of from inside your house. My husband had to get a tarp and cover the hold from the inside. Tear off guys showed up next morning but by afternoon were gone and never came back. Roofers were there but very hard to understand. I though I understood them when they told me they were going to finish the tear off tomorrow which would be Wednesday. no one showed up Wednesday. Larry pretty much told my Husband he would have the contractor Jeremy call him which did happen once and when my husband described the damage in the kitchen Jeremy's every other word was Sh__. Every night when the crew left they failed to pick up. The front of the house looked like we had been hit by a tornado and this is California. They left their trash. Larry subcontracted this job to a company called Taylor Construction Los Alamitos CA. They broke a glass bird feeder and some very decorative lights and just tossed on the side if the house guessing we would not see them. We never saw Larry or Jeremy at anytime throughout this ordeal. Finally the job is done on Saturday and they have to leave leftover supplies until Monday for Jeremy to pick up. Of course he does not show up until Tuesday. They hired someone to fix the ceiling Monday and Jeremy was to meet him at our house Monday but remember he didn't show up. The dry waller almost left because he does not want to deal with homeowners when he is the middle man. The dry waller did not know Jeremy or Larry and never head if them before this job. He has no idea how they found maybe the Internet or what but wouldn't you think Larry would have a dry waller on staff. This guy was upset when he saw how much work there was since Jeremy told him it was a 20 minute job. He had to confirm with Jeremy he would get paid for the work he was going to do. He even asked Jeremy about who was going to paint the drywall as we were asking and Jeremy's response was he wasn't going to do it we needed to take care of it ourself. Jeremy did show up Tuesday but we never saw him and picked up their stuff and put a ladder up against my house and left it there for the inspector the next day. Of course there is no way I am leaving it up all night right in the front of my house. I had to move it and lay it down. Larry called my Husband and told him to give the rest of what we owed 14,400.00 to Jeremy. My husband told I didn't hire Jeremy and am not giving him the check that he would need to come and get it and Larry complained how long it took him to get home the last time he came up to have the contract signed. Everyone in the inland empire knows about the Cajon Pass and he should have passed on the business if the drive from Redlands to the High Desert was too much for him. He came up with Jeremy to get the check and my husband told him everything I have written along with things I forgot to put here. My husband told him he needed to pay for primer and paint and for the amount of cleaning it would take to get my Custom Kitchen Cleaned by Sunday for Easter. This is the Thursday before. They didn't offer to paint we have to do that ourselves. He took 300. off the final bill. This is not even a sign of good faith. He also told my Husband he under bid this by 5000 dollars. Really after 25 plus years in business.

I preface this with the statement, if I could submit this review with zero or negative stars I…read morewould happily do so. Beware...Do Not Work With This Company or Anthony Duhu. While Anthony is a smooth talker and has a likable personality, he is not to be trusted. Do not be fooled - he does not have a license, doesn't pay he employees on time and makes a ton of mistakes along the way because of his lack of attention to detail. I was led to believe this kitchen remodel project would be finished in 6 weeks - it is now 15 weeks and the project is still not complete. There were no structural or other types problems which arose with the space which delayed progress. The problem was Anthony over extends himself, is not a clear communicator, hires sub-par sub contractors to work which he does not supervise, has poor attention to detail, is not forward thinking and he, nor his workers, arrive on site before 10 am or work on weekends typically. There were multiple weeks when no one showed to do anything. Anthony also will make you feel like your complaints are all small issues and takes his time to address them. He cuts corners and then just tries to cover up his mistakes which he always blames on someone else. The only people I have had not problems with were the electrician and the tile installation (aside from them unplugging my garage freezer....we didn't know for a week). Thomas the electrician was fabulous and I would recommend him to anyone needing a quality person! Problems which occurred: Three separate painters needed to come because of sloppy work and mistakes....four of the doors they painted are already peeling. The mud and drywall work needed to be fixed in five places because there were seams left. The painters and mud workers destroyed the xeriscape front yard by dumping their waste into the DG and desert plants - Anthony did get that fixed but it took three months. We had a window moved and Anthony mis-measured the spacing so the cabinets lined up 8 inches from the window on one side and 15 inches on the other. To remedy that he had to add a shelving system I didn't want. He also mis-measured the cabinets and didn't leave enough space at the ceiling for the appropriate molding. Again I was told - don't worry it's fine. His original cabinet worker walked off the job because Anthony had not paid him. I requested Conditional Waivers of Release from everyone he had work on this job because I don't want any liens. I received one only I fired him from doing the back splash and counter top. Anthony was given $ to purchase stone for the project and 8 weeks later he still had not paid for it. When I renegotiated the contract I requested the money back for the stone immediately - I am still being told "I'm working on it". Anthony stated "if I have problems like this 2-3 times a year then I'm ahead of the curve". He doesn't care about you or what you go through when these problems occur or how the length of the project negatively affects your life. I also doesn't bode well that at least 3 people working in my home made derogatory comments about Anthony(which I will not repeat here) and stated this would be the last time they worked on a project with him. I would NEVER recommend Premier Home and Design to anyone ever. Stay away from this company and any thing connected to Anthony Duhu period.

Let me start by saying that this was the largest remodeling job I've ever tackled and it was also…read moremy first time shopping for general contractors (GC) to manage my project. After interviewing several reputable contractors it was evident that my design choices would require custom cabinetry. Premier Home Design was recommended to me by another general contractor who often works with Anthony for custom cabinetry. After feeling discouraged by the lackluster GC's I had interviewed, Anthony was a breath of fresh air! He was perceptive to my design ideas and not scared to tackle the project like many other contractors who just wanted a "quick and easy job." With a busy work and school schedule I needed a contractor I could trust to make sure my dream kitchen became a reality. Anthony was very accommodating of my schedule and kept the project moving forward, even when I had to leave town. Anthony scheduled reliable subcontractors for framing, electrical, plumbing and quartz countertops. An extra special shout out to Jared with Absolute Plumbing who succesfully accomplished what 4 other plumbers/GC's said couldn't be done. We had a 13" drop ceiling in our kitchen because all the plumbing, including the main waste pipe were running directly above the kitchen from the second story. With no wiggle room for error he managed to re-do all the plumbing up to code, so that we could have 8' ceilings in our kitchen which allowed for 39" upper cabinets. If it wasn't for Anthony, we would not have gotten flush 8' ceilings from any other GC, and Anthony got the plumbing done for half the cost of any other plumber! Anthony was always accessible and easy to communicate with, patient with my design details (e.g., he let me provide the sketches and dimensions of my custom glass cabinet doors, custom wood hood vent, custom paint colors, etc.), accommodating to my schedule, and paid attention to finishing details. He was receptive to any changes or fixes that needed to be done because he prides himself on quality work. If you're looking for PREMIER QUALITY on your next remodeling project then give Premier Home Design a call! You won't be disappointed!!
