When we first pulled up, the line was out the door, so we knew it was good. We waited maybe about 15 minutes, and then we were let inside where we placed our order at the countertop. The menu is pretty big, so there were lots of options to pick from. I got the rooster, a fried chicken sandwich, and others got the kitchen sink plate with a Bloody Mary. After you placed your order, you found an open table. All of the tables were clean and accessible. I loved the vibe! Very up beat breakfast theme. Soon after we got a table, our food arrived. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! We all basically licked our plates clean lol. After they drop off your food, there is no 'service' so you do have to get everything yourself. But, I loved this actually since it was casual and it gave you an opportunity to get up and explore a tad bit. When we were done, the 'server' took our plates and we were out the door. The line outside kept steady! But, I see why! It was a great way to start the day.

I got takeout, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere or service, but the food alone was enough to impress me. I'm only in Memphis for two days, and this place was so good I'm already planning to come back tomorrow to try the breakfast tacos. The smoothie bowl was melted, the fresh juice was pre juiced and poured in to a cup, and the zucchini noodle bowl was just... bleh. In this economy to toss a plate due to undercooked sweet potato and over cooked zucchini noodles as well as lack of flavor is sad, but expected. My advice to this establishment would be; plant based does not mean lack of flavor. Nor does it mean lack of presentation bc my food looked like it was thrown into a box. Very unappealing. Cashew ranch is impressive! Hence my two stars. Would not recommend and won't be coming back.

The latte was really balanced with all the different flavors. The cinnamon roll was so fluffy and yummy! I don't order cinnamon rolls often but this one was definitely worth it. Service was awesome! The barista and other young lady were so nice and a super server. I forgot her name! Grr. Should have written it down. She was working the later shift to closing. So so very nice! The ambience is always inviting and very cozy. Love the vibe with all the bright decor. I enjoy looking at all the merch they sell. The Shepherds Haven merchandise is so pretty. I know I will return to this wonderful coffee shop in the older part of Bartlett.
