You enter the establishment which is a bit small, could use a bit better order/process. 1. People order to go and sit where folks who desire to dine-in would. 2. You order at the counter and given a number. They shout out numbers which, makes things feel chaotic. Maybe get a little ticket holder flag or something that can sit on the table, especially if to-go orderers are going to sit in dining. Or send a text! I ordered and it took forever to get my food. Bartlett breakfast factory is conveniently located, unassuming breakfast joint with ample parking. The food is made to order and hot and good. I had a omelette and added some additional bacon. It also came with hashbrowns, which were good. I noticed that many people got the fish and grits and the restaurant. The service was relatively quick. I waited about 15 minutes, but I didn't notice that other side did a little longer. The ambience can be described as quaint. It's a small place, but it's clean and comfortable. I've heard great things about this breakfast spot in Bartlett, arrived around 8:30am on a Saturday. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. I wasn't done getting situated in my seat before my order was in front of me! This was the quickest I've ever been served . I ordered the pancake breakfast with a side of hash browns. Pancakes were good and bacon crispy, the hash browns were ok. It was enough to get full and leave a few bites on the plate, but overall I was satisfied and had a full belly. From the lady taking orders at the register , the chef, and the guys preparing the food they all spoke and seemed to have a good system going. It got busy quick, but they maintained the quick service. As for the dining area, it is more of a quick diner spot, not a place to linger especially when they are busy. The guy in the back can definitely cook -- everything came out hot and fresh. The cashier/server/busser was polite and clearly doing her best to take care of everyone, especially since another worker had called out. We appreciated their honesty when they had to close around 1 PM after running out of fresh eggs (luckily, my friend got his omelet just in time). This is my third time here. I always come here for home cooked breakfast. They have some pretty good food for breakfast. Biscuits are very delicious goes awesome w/ the gravy. My favorite is the salmon croquettes. Best I've had in Memphis, so close to the ones my grandma used to make. And service was great as well . The manager comes out to feet you and see if you need anything, she's extremely friendly. The food here is remarkable. More like an old barbecue spot on the inside but that doesn't take away from that food. The kids had the Pancake Breakfast, I had the Shrimp n' Grits, and my wife had a single pancake. 1 Sweat Tea and 2 Waters. The pancakes were made from cake better and my whole family agreed that they were the best we've ever had! The bacon was more chewy than crispy but still good. 2 teens meals had the pancakes with eggs and bacon, while I had the shrimp and grits. Some of the best I've ever had! It was a bit pricey for breakfast at around $60 for what we ordered, but I guess that's everywhere you go these days. This business has delicious food consistently. I love their stuffed egg rolls and spinach dip. The catfish is always perfectly fried. Those are definitely must try items! I request my catfish fried hard and it's perfect. Last time it was a tad bit salty, but delish nevertheless. They have great customer service as well. I only gave 4 stars because on my most recent visit, I tried the shrimp and grits, which are very tasty; however, I was disappointed that I only received six shrimp for the healthy price of the dish. Even if they were large shrimp and were enough to be sufficient for the amount of grits I would've been satisfied, but unfortunately, they weren't even when I cut them. Where do I begin. This was one of the BEST breakfast experiences we've had. The pancakes were made to perfection with the crispy edges. (the only official way to make a pancake.) the service was top-tier, very friendly welcoming, and provided some great recommendations. It's a very intimate space but efficient. Customer's never stopped coming in while we were there, but there wasn't a crazy wait to receive the food or place an order or the feeling of overcrowding .This will definitely be my breakfast spot moving forward. Y'all our breakfast was so good (see the finished plate shows in our pictures) We turned around and ordered more food for later (had a big back moment but totally worth it) keep doing your thing. The staff was friendly and I loved that the owners were working just as hard as the cooks. Great food for a tiny spot. All foods are prepared when ordered. I have been 3 times so far. I have had the breakfast, catfish shrimp and grits, and the chicken Philly. It's black owned husband and wife and they work well together. The service is great but you have to get there to find a seat. If there is more than 4 people in a party you may have to wait a while before someone gets up from a table. It's a first come serve basis. So satisfying and I will be back soon. read more

It's been a while since there but I would say if not already done, to make sure there is constant coffee available. Also to train personnel better in making coffee. There was much coffee ground in the coffee that was finally dispensed. Also I would recommend having some sort of signature dishes to differentiate them from simple drive through places like Tops BbQ or Danver's breakfasts. read more

My bf and I visited this location on Tuesday 9/16 and I can say we were sadly not impressed. The building is outdated and the restaurant is not well kept. The bathroom was not clean. The workers were not presentable at all. They charge 4.00 a cup for Kroger brand orange juice and I know this bc the waiter poured the juice in a to go cup from the Kroger bottle which is literally less than 4 dollars at Kroger for the entire bottle. The floors where they cooked was filled with food debris and food station had food everywhere. Overall I think this place has lots of work to do. read more

We recently had the opportunity to meet the own and he was so kind to share his spinach dip that is available in Walmart stores. The food is always made fresh to order. I've been wanting to stop by this place for a while but I never have the time. well this morning i did. I came on A Thursday about 730am. Surprisingly there was no one there dining or waiting on food. When i walked in, i said good morning but i didn't hear anyone say it back. Ok cool- no biggie it is early. Then who i believe was the owner came around the corner with a smile and said good morning and happily took my order! I ordered the salmon croquette breakfast which came with to salmon patties, rice, eggs and toast. I also ordered an OJ. While waiting, he came up to let me know rice would be a minute and asked if i wanted to swap it out for grits! Cool-no issues with that. I decided to dine in since i had the time. My food came out in about 10 mins and it was fresh, i could tell by the smoke coming from it (just the way i like, fresh off the stove to my mouth). The food was delicious! The grits had a cheesy taste to them, needed no salt but i did add sugar bc i like mine on the sweeter side! Eggs were cooked just the way i wanted them, hard with cheese and those salmon croquettes were like someone's GMA was back there cooking! They were so good and a great portion at that! I couldnt finish it all and had one Pattie and some grits left, they'll def be breakfast tomorrow! I did end up speaking to the owner to give him compliments! I asked him was he ready for Keith Lee since i hear he's coming to Memphis! He was pumped!
