At 55 years old, after 3 grueling, hard months at Team Extreme, I was in one the best shapes of my life. I love tough, disciplined, no-none sense work-outs and this place offers just that. Being in a group with an instructor hanging over you keeps you motivated and pushes you above what you'd do alone. I don't need loud music, fancy equipment or silly funky dance moves, just not for me. I have a military background so someone 'motivating me loudly' is what I like to stay motivated, focused and push myself all out. I was about to sign up for a 6 month membership when I severely hurt my back at work putting me out on disability and strenuous exercise was against my Dr.'s orders. Now, a year later, I am waiting to be medically cleared from Worker's Comp. then I plan on going back to regain all the conditoning I lost. i joined about a month ago and WOW - it is NOTHING like my gym. Maybe its because Team Extreme isn't a gym! I have taken classes with Tyrome, Greg, Jeff and Ryan - all have been exhausting and so rewarding. They get to know everyone individually - including any ailments you may bring to the table. It is BY FAR the best workout i have ever done - i never would push myself like this at the gym. The classes are no joke. Im already seeing results - i currently go about 3-4 times a week. I honestly cannot say i see myself ever stopping now. My results have been so amazing that now my daughter and a friend of mine also joined - and more are coming! This is a very inclusive work out environment. There are people of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. The trainers are attentive and push you beyond where you thought you could go. If you are a person who goes to the gym to hop on an elliptical and look cute, this is not the place for you. You will work HARD and see results, and you will want to keep coming back. The trainers are always changing the workouts, so whether you are someone who can only get there twice a week or if you're there every day, you won't be doing the same workout over and over. I have been working out at Team Extreme for the last 3 years. I love the staff and I love the workouts. Before I joined Team Extreme I could never ever run. I can actually run now which is a very exciting accomplishment for me. The workouts are always different and they do push you to your limits (gently). I have been training at Team Extreme for almost a year and a half and have seen amazing results. The trainers offer personalized workouts that are intense and push you past what you think is your best. They offer a total body workout. I went here with a Groupon and was very impressed with the workout. I've done several other Groupon offers and this one was definitely the best. I thought I was in decent shape but after my first workout I was wrong. They ask what you want out of this and then you get to work. It was very challenging and the instructor is there the whole way...would highly recommend. read more

I travel from North Bellmore to work out with Tyrome and his team! It's unlike any "gym" you've been to before because the "team" is in charge and you're a cog in the workout wheel...They will take you to places physically that are amazing...so clean...so well maintained...so friendly...tough but WORTH IT!!!
