I purchased a 2024 Tucson on 7/17/25 and was advised the new car warranty would not be transferred on this vehicle due to change in the Hyandai policy. In fact this is incorrect information. This vehicle was not a "Certified Used" by the dealer so that is the reason the warranty was not transferred! At that time I was unaware of this. It was recommended that I purchase a warranty on the Tucson which I did. After returning home and reviewing my docs I realized the warranty was added onto my car loan and I would pay interest on it. Not cool! I returned to the dealer the following Monday 7/21 to cancel the warranty and filled out a form. It was not mentioned how long it would take so I presumed it was in a reasonable time limit. I have since found out it is a 6 to 8 week refund period for the $2,895 amount and because it is a 3rd party Vendor Hyandai USA cannot expedite the process!!! Not informed of that either. It has now been 8 Mondays since I cancelled the warranty and was informed that now it will be 90 days for my refund to my auto loan!!!! How is this possible? I only had the Warranty barely 11/2 full business days. This is unacceptable on so many levels. Oh and there was only one key fob provided and I asked for the 2nd key before I left the lot. I was informed they would look for it. Then called and was advised I had to pay for the 2nd key fob. Never in my life of buying at least 15 cars, most of them new have I ever run into such a lack of transparency. As an unfortunate customer having purchased a vehicle from them four days ago. One of their finance people call me and said they needed to breach my contract and charge me more money. So I told them I told them I was not interested in their offer since they wanted to just wanted to illegally void my contract. I told the finance associate I would be there be the soon for a refund and get my trade in back. After I got there and was pacing one of there sales people told me to sit down. Keep in mind I have a disability that requires me to pace when I am suffering undo stress. So, they openly insult people with disabilities. So they may and do that to another handicapped child, mom, dad, grandmother or grandfather. They think it is acceptable behavior from their salespersonel. When I asked for an apolgy for a heartfelt apology the one I got was I got one it was clearly was coming in fashison from an not heartfelt or remorseful. It seemed to me he is an entitled individual, because he felt that I had insulted him by asking so he felt his apology did not have to mean anything and not to want to apploize in a manner that meant something. The PIC seemed to also think it was acceptable as well. I would avoid this dealership like the plague. When I bought the car, the waiting room was filthy, the staff dressed in tee shirts and cowboy boots, they took personal phone calls during the sale. The check out was an incredible 3 hours while they tried to sell me enhancements to prolong the life a lease car and the whole experience was miserable. I leased the car for my son in law who lives in Bend. When the lease was over the car was worth 9000$ more than the buy out. We thought we arranged for him to buy it from the dealership for an $1000 over the lease fulfillment to save me from flying in to buy it and then sell it to him. When they realized how much more the car was worth, the totally had no memory of our deal and refused to honor it. I called to complain from CA but the manager would not return phone calls. PLEASE SHARE We recently bought used car from Hyundai in Bend, we were getting car financed through dealership(big mistake), The finance Manager Troy (below) stated that we were "required to also purchase a 3 year warranty on the car for $2500.00 or the Lender (Oregon Community Credit Union (OCCU) would not finance us. Later I called the Lender OCCU, they stayed that they did NOT REQUIRE A warranty on our loan. We set up appointment to cancel warranty. The warranty was $2500. the money they would of made off of that would of been $1250. Now the waiting game, because now the dealership will be getting check and crediting OCCU. Ditto to El J's review. Please, please, please- I know it's long but read to the end if you ever even THINK about bringing your car here for service. This place is a SCAM, RACKET, FRAUD, SHAM, RIP-OFF ... and any other synonym you can think of. Here's the whole scoop and nothing but the scoop- Background: My brother works for a Hyundai dealer in AZ. He is a top-notch mechanic wanted by most all of the service shops in the greater Tucson area. I was there for a visit back in the fall of 2017 and Jim Click, the owner of multiple car dealerships, was having a multi-dealership end-of-season blow-out and my brother convinced me to go look at the Hyundai Tucson and that they (his dealership) would get me a great deal (with family discount on top). Now, mind you, I was, at that time a 15-year, 2 car, loyal Subaru owner. Long story short- I went, I drove, I liked, and I bought. Side note: Jim Click provides life time, that's right, LIFE TIME routine maintenance (ie. your oil changes and tire rotations that cost $70+ here in Central OR) for FREE! Fast forward to two days ago: I went to Team Hyundai of Bend's website to schedule on-line a ROUTINE oil/change and tire rotation. When you go to do this on-line you will see 3 tiers; $56.95, $76.90, and a ridiculous $225.25 package. I opted for the mid-range after consulting with my brother (even though he even said that same "package" should be no more than $50 [AZ pricing]). Today: I get to my appointment and am greeted by a nice young man, Damon. He said, "So you're here for your 25,000mi service?" I said, "I'm here for an oil change and tire rotation." He then said, "Says here, your here for a 25,000 mile service." I reiterated that I was there for the $76 oil change and tire rotation and even had him show me his computer screen which actually even showed $76.90 in the lower right hand corner. Damon had me sign two pages (top page showing what I signed up for and he laid that on top of the 2nd page but made sure that only the signature line was showing) and said, "Ok, sign at the 2 X's." [MY BAD for not looking at the 2nd page!] Hour later: I go to pick up my car and same, nice Damon says, "That will be $211.54." WTF?!?! I said, "We discussed this THOROUGHLY and you even showed me your computer screen that said $76.90!!!" I was livid! Damon then got extremely agitated (directed at me) and said, "I'm gonna make this right," and after throwing all my paperwork around (literally) he disappeared for just under 10 minutes. When he comes back he says, "How does this suit you?" and shows me that he is charging me $63.19. I asked him not to cop an attitude towards me and that I was willing to pay for what I asked for (which was $76.90). But I paid and went on my way as I was done. Now: Looking at invoice the only thing itemized is what I ORIGINALLY asked for; oil change with some special additive (which for some reason adds up to be 98.10 instead of $76.90) and "5000 Interval Scheduled Maintenance" [NOT itemized] that supposedly cost $112.65 in LABOR. And here's the icing on the cake: I had a jacked up front rim with a smudge on the tire from getting hung up on a curb the other day. That rim is STILL in it's original front passenger-side place. So someone please tell me - how is that even POSSIBLE if you ROTATED my tires!!!!! PS, after an email to Service Manager as well as General Manager - no one's gotten back to me even though I got an automated email saying someone would call me in 1/2 hour.............. read more

This is my first 5-star experience buying a pre-owned car at a dealership. All of the credit for our pleasant experience should be given to Paul. From the moment we walked in asking for help in finding a used car for our elderly mother, Paul was there to walk us through the options. He didn't try to upsell us on anything, which speaks to his integrity and customer obsession - knowing our situation. Paul worked with us on pricing, and went the extra mile to get the car out the door in spite of limited maintenance availability. Paul took it upon himself to complete the detail job on the vehicle, coming in early to finish it before we came in to complete the purchase. Paul even arranged to put a bow on the car before we arrived - our mother was speechless and in tears :) We also had a great experience working through the finishing paperwork with the finance manager. Our mother has many pre-existing conditions, and they were very respectful of our wishes to minimize her exposure in the dealership in light of the current COVID-19 resurgence in Deschutes County. We appreciate those in the dealership (unfortunately not all employees) who are adhering to the current mask mandate for public enclosed spaces. Thee worst dealership I have ever dealt with!!! Nation wide engine recall and they flat out do NOT take care of their customers! If I was Corporate Hyundai I would be embarrassed and ashamed with this place. A year ago I had engine recall problems and twice in a row had to be towed into a Northern CA dealerdhip. Upon arrival I was IMMEDIATELY put into an upgraded rental car, was given the courtesy of updated phone calls in regards to my vehicle's status, and treated above and beyond 5 Star treatment. Now, issues again with the motor, and had to be towed into this dealership last Friday. Six days later I am STILL stranded without a rental car, and live 40+ miles outside of Bend. I have a new job in Bend (thanks to Covid) that I cannot get to, and I am about ready to lose my job!! I cannot go get groceries, and God forbid something happens to a family member and me not be able to get to them! I went to the dealership yesterday and was told their hands are tied, and given an 800 number and told to be nice when I call or I would get hung up on!!!! This morning I called the CA dealership and spoke with the service gentleman I dealt with a year ago. He informed me that there is absolutely NO excuse for me not to be put in a rental car, told me to raise Hell with the Bend GM, stand outside the dealership and picket the business, file complaints, and yes.... post a review about my experience. His words... "A Nation wide recall, it's not like they won't get reimbursed for anything!!" I recommend staying away from this dealership and Hyundai. I have family members who drive Hyundai, and we will never ever recommend them to other family, or any friends. 500% NOT ETHICAL TO NOT HAVE ANY EPATHY FOR PEOPLE'S LIVELIHOODS. Honestly the only pleasant experience I've had with a car dealership. I came in to see if I could trade my car in and they ended up giving more than I expected and honored the KBB instant cash offer. I ended up getting a new rig and the finance team was awesome and helped me get a great interest rate while also working with me for special terms since I needed some cushion for the holiday season. I had a Great experience with the service department of Bend Hyundai. I had made a appointment the week before. Which I highly recommend bc they are busy. I was greeted immediately when I came through the door. My car was taken for service right away. I had made a appointment for the engine light coming on and then while I was waiting for the diagnosis of what was wrong with my car, a video of my inspection was texted to me - a full inspection of the engine and underneath the car. That was pretty neat! Aaron was my service guy (at least that was the name on the paperwork and he was amazing explaining everything to me, and what they would be doing to correct the problem. With cash in hand from a recent sale of a vehicle I stopped into Hyundai of Bend to ask about the 2022 Ioniq EV after seeing some pretty good reviews. No one in the sales room but 3 guys. One finally got up and dug around for a mask, and clearly sized me up - nothing subtle here. Managed to learn a couple of these cars are coming in next month. That's an okay start, but delivery is very uncertain. But next thing send me out the door never to return. I asked is there is a dealer markup over MSRP. "Oh ya, 10 or 15 thousand." Exact quote, yes - $10,000 or $15,000. That sounds like real money to me, and I"m keeping it. So what, if you like my haircut you'll only steal $10,000 from me? What a deal! The salesman then wanted my phone number but the only thing he got was the sound of the door closing behind me as I left. I will never pay more than MSRP - nor should anyone else. Stay away. We just came in for a routine oil change should have been maybe a hour. Turned into about 2 hours worth of time lost because someone in the shop screwed up the oil plug (not the first time this has happened here!). They had to order the part from Napa! So, here we sit. I walked in to speak with one sales rep to show me a few trucks, now 5 people are speaking to me back and forth. Sales manager said "I don't buy wrecked Jeeps as trade-ins and tossed me my keys." Well let's see.....my friend who is an honorably discharged and decorated Marine veteran in his 70's who has received a presidential commendation who has been bringing this place his business for quite awhile and bought his vehicle there was verbally abused by staff including a manager in this dealership because he simply and calmly requested that the management consider changing the channel from a politically charged and biased channel to something more neutral. He just asked. It was very bad, there were witnesses, and the worst thing about it is that he never got an apology. He was called a traitor by a staff member and subjected to other verbal abuse by a patron and staff member. Inexcusable and sickening. Also the crew that washed my car after the service. This is my second time back and they did a wonderful job again!!!!!! I always stayed away from dealerships because they were expensive for service but not Team Hyundai, their prices are very reasonable and couple that with a great service and attitude, I will continue to go back. Their shuttle service for pickup and delivery to my office was awesome and on time. When I went to pick up my car after the service, it was washed and dried, Tire dressing applied to the car looked awesome at pickup. Recently was at Team Hyundai in Bend Oregon to buy an Ionic5. The first red flag is a $5000 ADM. This puts the Ionic5 Limited at the same price as the Tesla Y( Tesla sells the Y at $3750 below MSRP plus 10,000 miles of charging included). After test-driving the Model Y it was obvious that this is a much, much nicer car, with a much better charging network. We then went back to Team Hyundai and tried to test drive a car, they told us they were all sold, and we would not able to test drive the Ionic5 until 1/23/23. They did try to sell us a 4-year-old used Model Y for the same price that the Tesla dealer sold us a brand new 2023 ($63,000). We took delivery of a new 2023 model Y the next day. The folks at the Tesla dealer were honest and there was no pressure, the exact opposite of Team Hyundai. For a positive experience avoid dealers that charge an Aditional Dealer Markup(questionable ethics). Go to dealers that charge MSRP or less. Don't believe the lies about the scarcity of product, these are just high-pressure sales tactics. Better yet just eliminate the whole dealer scam and go direct. I drove from Portland to buy a car here and when I arrived, they told me the listing was actually inaccurate and the car was actually thousands of dollars more expensive. And service was horrendous! We quality for college graduate and manufacturer rebates but the rep downright refused to honor them and was trying to end the sale on his side because he was annoyed with us, and said "he's the used car salesman and doesn't usually sell new cars". We had to get up and walk out because the service was so horrible and unnecessarily frustrating. We were literally going to buy a car here but I guess Go Team Hyundai prioritizes shady sales tactics over customer service. Avoid at all costs! Team Hyundai's service department is horrible.. not only did they take a chip of paint off my trunk and they never made it right... I never got a call from the service manager like I was promised even after I brought it up in person... But then the next time I brought it in they say they did a "battery service" without asking me first... I'm a girl but I'm not an idiot when it comes to cars, because they did me dirty before, I checked under my hood and my battery terminals hadn't even been cleaned they had corrosion all over the one terminal that had a cover over it. After I confronted the manager Damon about being lied to he blamed it on his tech and said "he told him to do it". They wanted to charge me almost $600 to replace one O2 sensor and so we have a new sensor put in. The check engine light comes back on and the air bag light came on. (My last car's engine blew up on me while I was going down the highway) so I get paranoid about my cars running bad... So I take it back in for a peace of mind to make sure not more is wrong... They do not make it clear that they won't replace the sensor if the one that was replaced is bad and they do not tell me about how much they charge for diagnosis. So they say my air bag light was on for no reason and they recommended a battery service for $50 which I had told them no on top of $145 for the diagnosis... They ultimately made me pay $145 for a diagnosis which took a few minutes I was told it takes them an hour and they test drove it which is another lie (I can tell by the odometer) The girl Adrian was absolutely rude, and has has several other complaints from people I know... she's a flat out bitch... she sat there and argued with me about what I was telling the manager the things they have done and not made right!!!!... I ask what I can do in the future to not pay $145 for them to refuse to replace the sensor and pay for the diagnosis ... (This is after I paid, because they wouldn't give me my car back before I paid the $145) and she said I could leave... I am calling corporate to try and figure out how to not go back there!! I have a service plan I pay for... I hope I can still have a service plan somehow, and be able to have work done somewhere else and still use the warranty I pay for ... and not go back to them, they are crooks and liars. read more
