I was recommended by one of my friends to see Calise for a haircut for my natural curly hair cut. I've been doing research over the years on curly and diva hair cuts and how far they are with consults and price range. My friends have gotten their curly hair cuts even before the diva and curly hair cuts were popular on social media. So I finally reached out and booked with Calise. She is so bubbly and comforting and makes you feel comfortable with her years of experience. I scheduled in advance for a Saturday appointment. The Tease Beauty Lounge was easy to find within a shopping center and has plenty of parking. Very nice and spacious and clean and sleek inside. She washed and conditioned my hair, was able to cut my hair and then was able to style my natural curly hair within an hour and wasn't too expensive. I've been to Tease twice now. My first visit was 4 years ago when I dyed my hair for the first time. I got a balayage. Nora was my stylist and she did a beautiful job on my hair. I have since grown out my hair to its natural color, but I hope to return again soon to get it dyed again! Leia cut my hair a few weeks ago. I asked for 4 inches off, long layers in the back, and face-framing layers. She really took her time to execute what I wanted. Every time I style my hair, I get compliments! Despite the time between visits, I am still super impressed with the quality of the stylists here. The stylists clearly love their jobs and their attention to detail is evident in their work. I seen Dana for a haircut. I have to start off on how racist this hairstylist was during my appointment. She made racial remarks throughout our entire appointment which made me feel so uncomfortable. However, this was also the worst haircut and experience I've ever had at salon. I asked for the same haircut i would normally ask for from any hairstylist. Long layers and face frame from the chin and jawline. During the appointment she was really rough with brushing and also kept on hitting the hairbrush onto my neck which I thought was really rude. She cut a huge chuck from the front of my face giving thick curtain bangs that I never asked for. Now I have to deal with bangs I did not want and I'm also going to event soon. I'm extremely upset. Dana is also an older hairstylist that is NOT up to trend. If you're new to the area like me I would avoid going to her if you're looking for a more trendy hairstyle. read more

From the minute I walked in and sat on the chair it felt very welcoming. My hair was very dark, and Mo brought my hair back to life. She was so honest with my hair and put in a lot of effort to be close to where I wanted it. It was only the first session and it was already SO nice, I can't get over it.
