LOVED this Show and everything set up with it! The Comedy and the Dancers, WOW. Definitely recommended if you like Shows and a few drinks with lots of laughs. Came here with my Girlfriends for my Birthday and it was something new and a great time!!

What a great "Tease If You Please" performance! Sexy, seductive, classy, talented performers, that provided entertaining burlesque show that is directed by producer Donna Hood. I'm impressed how she started and ended the performance with her performing. Great show! Entry: Look out for the big neon sign that says "Tease if you please" and you're definitely at the right place! We were told to pay $24 at the door before we stepped into the theater (includes 2 drinks and tips). Once you're in, the hostess assigned to your table will guide you to your table. Parking: We did not park at the parking garage next to the theater, they charges up to $20 on peak timing. We made a right turn and parked at a parking garage just 5 mins walking distance for only $7. Tips: Check for goldstar complimentary tickets (just pay tax) since there is a minimum 2 drinks cover charge that you have to pay.

Loved it. Great place for a date night. The ladies are all so beautiful and elegantly dressed. They all present themselves in a unique and unforgettable way. Every performance makes me think of it was a performance, art, experience or a trance.

I've had the opportunity of attending the show 2 times now. The first time I attended was about a year ago, I didn't know what to expect but I had a blast. The experience felt like a true burlesque show, very classy. The 2nd time I got invited I knew I loved the show enough that if I saw the same act I was going to be ok with it, to my surprise the talent & show they put on this 2nd time was even more entertaining, different girls and different acts. I really enjoyed myself, Drinks were great, bartender & staff were nice. The Host Tito Bonito was hilarious & entertaining. Would recommend if your looking for an entertaining night out. Miss Donna Hood, thank you for putting on a wonderful show both times.

Possibly one of LA's best kept secrets is "TEASE, if you please!"--a burlesque show that's held inside First & Hope's bar where they blend the 1900's and modern day music together for an enjoyable event! For $30, you'll spend a short evening with talented and gorgeous ladies who are amazing at their craft. Their dance performances are funny, sensual, sexy and will take you for an emotional ride. Held in a small room that can likely only seat less than 40 people, the interactive show is one where each dancer takes on a sassy personality. Be mindful that they could sit on you, play with your hair, and even slap you!--playfully, of course. The tables that you're seated at are actually stages for the ladies so you're guaranteed to get an up, close, and personal show. They even hang onto bars that are placed in the ceilings and will swing every which way! There is a two drink minimum for each table, but drinks are very cheap considering you're in LA. For our group of ten people, the bill was only about $110--and each person had more than one drink. To appease designated drivers and non alcoholic drinkers, soda and water are served too. ---- Conclusion: 4.5 Stars! I wouldn't recommend the show for people who are claustrophobic because the room is tiny and seats are crammed together. However, everyone else should come check it out! The show begins at 9:30 and lasts for about 2 hours. Come early to pick a seat. The girls perform at the front AND back of the room so I recommend sitting on the side of the walls because they're most comfortable and you'll be able to see the entire show. If you sat in the front like me, you'll be forced to turn around many times which can be bothersome. Despite that, I'd definitely come back to watch again! Extra Notes: -Accepts credit card -Open ONLY on Friday nights -Buy tickets online here: http://teaseifyouplease.tunestub.com/show.cfm?id=139087 -There's a dinner package available too that includes tickets to the show for $60, but I hear the food is abysmal at First & Hope bar. -Waitstaff is likely the only negative thing about the night for they're rude and pushy...but maybe it's an act to take on the sassy personalities of the dancers? -Taking pictures are encouraged! Just don't use flash! -Elegant decor with dim lighting -Parking is NOT validated, it costs $10 -Clean restrooms

The stage before the show, plus the view from our table... (admission B )

Ask the Community - TEASE, if you please!

Are there any shows scheduled for 2022 yet? Or is this show permanently closed?

I'm not sure Donna knows how much we miss these shows...

    Is it wheelchair friendly?

    Yes it is! :)

    Is there a dress code?

Dressy. Nothing too casual, but doesn’t have to be formal.

Anyone know how long is the show?

I’ve seen two shows and one was longer than the other so I believe it varies based on how many performers they have slotted (there are sometimes special guests and such). Regardless though I think it would be safe to say at least an hour and a half.

I came here with friends to watch Rayuela Hacia EL Mas Alla. It was all in Spanish, but for those like me that only have 2 years of high school Spanish, there were subtitles projected on the top of the stage. The play was a dark comedy with a little bit of everything. It had humor, drama, terror, a love story and a "non-hollywood ending." Going in with an open mind and not knowing what the play was about, I was blown away. Parts of the play made me think of Guillermo Del Toros Pans Labyrinth and Kurt Vonnegut from my AP English class in high school. With its morbid beauty and dystopian setting. It amazed me how such a large story could be played out on such a small stage with just a few actors through the use of lighting, minimal props, and and the expression of those actors. Kudos to Laura Santa Cruz and Manuel Chitay for a wonderful performance. It was very creative how they used the same projector to animate the clocks and show the passage of time. As well as (not to give anything away) execute certain scenes. This play is very unique in the sense that every few weeks they change the ending and have a different actress. Which not only brings a different take on the story but keeps you coming back for more.

Originally opening in 1926 as Hollywood's largest legitimate theater, it has hosted everything from Broadway productions to iconic film premieres, including Citizen Kane. After a meticulous restoration led by The Walt Disney Company, the theater reopened in 1991 and has since become Disney's flagship theater on Hollywood Boulevard. Today, it serves as Disney's home for world premieres, special events, live stage shows, and screenings of both new releases and beloved classics. The theater's stunning architecture and historic significance even earned it Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument status. I have seen countless Disney films here over the years and every visit feels special. The atmosphere, the themed displays, and the beautifully restored interior make it feel much more memorable than a typical movie theater outing. Another bonus is the convenient parking. You can park directly across the street at Ovation Hollywood and with validation from the theater, parking is just $3 for up to four hours. They have about 4 or 5 performances throughout the day but my advice is to get there early if you want a good seat. If the show has a start time of 1PM we would typically start waiting in line at around 12PM. Even then you probably won't be the first people in line but you will still get a good seat. Once the line starts getting long they start making people go up the ramp and start making line up there. Be aware if you start going up your whole party must be with you as they will not let anyone go up that is left downstairs. Be aware that in this are you must fill in all the empty space. People do try to cut to get to the front so just be aware of that. Once they open the doors you enter from all the way up top unless you are handicapped then you are let in downstairs. You can choose to sit up top which is still a nice view but if you want to be up close you will need to make your way down all the stairs to make it to the front. As far as the show for the 2024 season they did change it up and make a just a little bit more modern which I loved. The performers all did an amazing job and of course we all love seeing the peanuts characters perform on ice. It was a great show and I hope they keep it the same next year or if they do change it I hope it is for the better. I do miss the summer show that they used to put on in this theatre. 2026 Season - April 4, 2026 - May 17, 2026…read more This visit applies strictly to the very last day of the season - May 17, 2026 As a first-timer to any Renaissance Pleasure Faire, there was a lot of anticipation on my part, having seen numerous videos on social media & YouTube. As always, I think the best policy is always to curb any & all expectations. Parking - Perhaps my biggest criticism of my entire experience. This is a rather specific situation that pertains strictky to ADA Handicap Parking. There is a specific lot that is designated for handicap parking - Lot 3 of the Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area (where the Ren Faire takes place). However, Lot 3 is situated farther than most parking = you have to walk much farther away than most of the other guests. It's ironic in that ADA Handicap Parking should allow you to be closer to the event's entrance. Perhaps the only advantage to parking in this distant lot is that your car will not be caught in the middle of the chaos of everyone else trying to leave. It very evident that this was an oversight when faire organizers made decision to have the event take place at Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area. If there's a way to modify this for future seasons, this would be the biggest improvement that they could make. FOOD Tri-Tip Sandwich ($18) - 6.0/ 10 It's to be expected, but you're definitely going to be paying for more than what you receive - inflation, labor costs, etc. That said, it's fairly hard to mess-up tri-tip. It's not necessarily dry, but the drizzle of bbq sauce helps. Frankly, I wished I asked for more bbq sauce (on the side). The tri tip is served in a roll that's slightly wider than a hot dog bun. It wasn't anything to "write home about", but it's seemed like a better option than most. 1 sandwich is only substantial enough to be a snack. Granted, I walked a good 10 minutes (to the jousting arena) before enjoying my sandwich, I think it would had been helpful if it was served much warmer. French Fries - 6.0 / 10 It's french fries. I will say that the portion is very generous. There was more than enough for me & my friend, so I'd even say it'd be enough fro 3-4 people, assuming it's being shared as a side. Again, maybe it's because I waited a good 10 minutes (buying a beer, walking over to the jousting arena) before enjoying the fries, but it might have been helpful if they could be served a bit warmer. They were still pretty crispy (more on the well-done side, which I prefer). Just some things to note (especially as a 1st timer): - Dress-Up. You're in the 16th Century / Elizabethan Era. So knights, nobleman, peasants, merchants, inn-keepers, plague doctors. But basically, in 2026 at least, anything that isn't "modern" (the past 100 years) is fair game. You can literally see almost anything & it wouldn't seem too out-of-pocket. Yeah, you'll get some strange looks & comments, but people get over it fairly quickly. Just dress-up. - Try to speak "in-character". Whatever it is that you decide to go as, try to "play the part". The volunteers / workers will respond to you accordingly & will "play along". Embrace it & have fun. - The focus of the faire is the shops. That's fine. Get your shopping-on & support these vendors. But there's also many games / activities (archery, axe throwing, dunk tank, how long you hang on a bar, etc.), manually-powered rides, performance shows, & craft activities (making chain mail, sewing, casting coins, & other cool stuff). Like anything else, you get what you put in. Bring your enthusiasm & pack your patience. Also knowing what I know now, I'm definitely going to focus more on my next visit with more investment in my costume (granted I came dressed as a humble peasant).
