Where they offer a little snack bites

Wow this place is so cute I Was craving Boba and decided to try this place out next to my house. Everything is decorated beautifully. There were signs to show you what they were offering, as well as a kiosk for some of the things that were not on the wall I was greeted by a young lady, who asked if I needed any assistance who offered a lot of choices and then when I couldn't decide gave me options and then directed me to what maybe I was looking for on the kiosk, which was perfect. I got to try new flavors and they even offered to make me my special drink I love when someone is willing to go above and beyond to replicate a flavor lol that I like to get at another place. definitely looking forward to coming back and trying some more new drinks. The girls behind the counter we very pleasant helpful and loved there energy will definitely be back for more new flavors to try great job

I love the thai tea, it is refreshing and doesn't taste too sweet. The service is quick and the baristas are very kind.

I forgot what I got lol but it was lime and green tea. With boba. I got 0 sugar and 0 ice. Super sour which some may not like but I did not mind. If I got sugar than it would probably be less sour. If I am in the area I definitely want to try other drinks. The boba is good quality. Staff is super nice.

Drink that was supposed to have boba and didn't, because employees were busy screaming at one another rather than making drinks correctly

I really don't leave bad reviews here often and it's a huge shame to me to have to do this, because it's a place I frequented often. But I just can't stand by and say nothing when my most recent trip to Teaspoon was anything but enjoyable. When I arrived to place an order, two of the workers behind the tea bar were in the middle of a loud argument. Something involving a guy who had dated one of the friend's of a female worker. Regardless of what the issue was, the female was yelling loudly, practically borderline screaming at the male employee until he snapped back. All while they were making drinks. When I received my order, the boba that I had paid extra for to be included in my drink was forgotten, because they were too busy arguing loudly rather than focusing on the customers. This behavior was extremely unprofessional. I get that these are mostly teenagers working there, but that was just extremely unacceptable, especially since it meant my drink order was messed up as a result. It also made what should've been a calming environment into one that felt hostile. Extremely disappointed.

Me and my friends came here for a sweet treat right before our finals and it was so good! I ordered the new banana matcha drink and it was delicious, I am particularly happy that it had real bananas in it and tasted very fresh! The inside of the store was very clean and decorated so nicely for Christmas! I love that they have little corner with different games, makes for a fun time to spend with friends! The staff was respectful and nice too! 5 stars

My first time at a Teaspoon. Franchises seem to be popping up all over the Bay Area. I spotted a couple teens sipping away and asked where it was located. The young employees were very friendly and cheerful. They have a pad where you can order your drinks but they only had 2 other customers in the store so he took my order at the register. I tried the Thai tea with boba and 1/2 and 1/2. It was OK but not enough Thai tea flavor to my liking. The boba balls were a bit squishy not firm but still chewy. Hubby ordered strawberry one with no bobas. He liked it. I still think some of the best milk tea bobas I've had were in Taiwan but they're known for their teas there.

I'm happy to see more boba places starting to open in Marin County. However, it makes me even happier that it's Teaspoon. Originally from San Francisco but lived in Marin for 15 years. Boba spots in Marin County is hard to come by. We needed more than just a ShareTea in San Rafael. I'm glad it's right near my place of work so I'll be stopping in often.

Amazing service. Tea is very delicious. Very soothing atmosphere with music in the background. Very few people around.

Instead, you simply place your order either online, or through the self-service kiosk located out front. There is a window next to the kiosk where they'll place your drink when ready. Ordered a Mango Supreme with Boba and really enjoyed the fresh mango taste, along with the nice and chewy boba. There's not a lot of boba options in San Rafael. But I'm glad Oddcha is one of them. Unbeknownst to me at the time, parking is available in a lot under the freeway on 4th street, behind Oddcha. I instead found street parking 3 blocks away and simply walked over.

We ordered the Coconut Bomb and the Thai Twister, and both drinks were excellent. They weren't overly sweet and had a really refreshing flavor. The boba also tasted fresh, which made the drinks even better. Ordering was easy using their kiosk system. One thing to note is that parking is located behind the shop. It was a bit confusing at first since the store is on a very busy road, but once you find the back parking area, it's much more convenient. Overall, a great stop for refreshing drinks--I'd definitely come back!

2.5 STARS kuma cafe…read moreis a small cafe serving quick bites and boba, conveniently located in downtown san rafael. even though it's in downtown san rafael, i've never had trouble finding street parking nearby. since you order on a tablet, there's not usually anyone behind the counter until the food comes out. it seems like there's only one person working, so it can sometimes take a bit for things to come out. i usually order online for a quicker pickup, although it's slightly more expensive. there are a few tables inside, but it's really a to-go place. - egg sandwich w/ salad (2.5/5): i love japanese egg sandwiches, so i really wanted to try this! the sandwich had a good kewpie mayo flavor, and it was slightly sweet. i enjoyed the flavor, but the sandwich was too wet and messy to eat. some of the mayo was dripping out of the sides. there were also small bits of tobiko and cabbage. it wasn't a big sandwich for the price, but it did come with a salad that was topped with a good sweet and creamy dressing - spicy tuna sandwich w/ chips (1/5): literally like canned tuna with some spicy seasoning, although it wasn't super spicy. it also had some thick slices of cucumber and red onion. the chips were kind of stale, and they tasted like they were supposed to be ruffles or lays salted chips. this was pretty disappointing, and i'm not sure why it cost that much - poke (2.5/5): pretty standard, and an okay portion for price. they offered all of the basic ingredients and different kinds of fish. my bowl didn't have a lot of fish in it, but they did give me a lot of tamago (sweet egg), which made up for the lack of protein. i ordered the soy house sauce, but it reminded me more of a bright ponzu. honestly, the ingredients didn't really taste the freshest, but i thought it was fine and the best food i tried here - jasmine rose milk tea (1.5/5): strong rose flavor! it was still pretty sweet at 50% sugar, and it got overwhelmingly sweet by the end. i usually finish drinks, even if i don't like them, but it was hard to finish - sando brown sugar milk tea (4/5): my favorite milky drink i tried! it had a pretty good black tea and chocolate malt flavor. i really liked the crunchy texture of the malt topping, although i think it could've used a little less malt and more drink. i thought this was very unique! - lychee dragon fruit (4/5): like a light lemonade! i didn't really taste the lychee. the dragon fruit flavor was subtle, but it was definitely there, especially at the end with all the dragon fruit bits. it came with lychee jelly, which made the drink pretty sweet - fizzy yuzu (4/5): literally a yuzu soda, which was tart and citrusy. it was a little too sour for me at first, but the yuzu flavor was great. i actually really liked the kiwi popping boba, which added some sweetness to the drink and curbed the tartness. the kiwi popping boba did taste like kiwi, and it was so unique! - momo peach iced matcha [seasonal] (1/5): the worst drink i tried... there was so much peach jam that it tasted super sweet, and the jam didn't even have a strong peach flavor. the amount of jam also made the drink extremely goopy, even after mixing, and i couldn't taste the matcha at all. i didn't finish this drink the boba here was inconsistent - sometimes it was soft and chewy, and other times, it was on the hard end. for the drinks that came with a topping, they didn't let me sub out the topping with something else. i would've had to pay for an additional topping in order to change it. overall, i'm not really a big fan of kuma cafe, but there aren't that many options in san rafael. compared to oddcha, i think kuma cafe offers more unique asian flavors, like dragon fruit or yuzu. when i'm working near downtown, i'll still stop by to get my boba fix but will head somewhere else for lunch.

I found myself here after yet another underwhelming stop at Cafe Verde -- which people recommend to me constantly. And every time I go, I leave confused. It's rarely full. The pricing is steep. And the attitude sometimes feels like, "There will always be another customer." So I walked a few minutes down the street and ended up at Endless Coffee. Different universe. I've had their coffee. I've had their specialty drinks. I've had their matcha multiple times now -- and it's $6. Six. In Corte Madera. Meanwhile, the $10 matcha down the street isn't even in the same league in terms of quality or balance. That price-to-quality ratio alone should have a line out the door. The space is small -- about five tables inside, four outside -- but it works. There are always a few parking spots nearby. It feels local in a real way, not a curated way. I see familiar baristas when I go in, but I also notice new team members. It feels like a business that's growing, adjusting, trying to get better. They have a rewards program. They're clearly refining their systems. And most importantly, the service never feels complacent. No one acts like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. You're acknowledged. You're treated like your business matters. That difference is subtle -- but it's everything. I genuinely do not understand how this place isn't consistently packed while others with higher prices and less warmth are. If you care about quality, value, and being treated like an actual guest, this is the spot in Corte Madera. Skip the hype. Walk a few extra steps. Order the matcha.
