Upon entering found no one at the service counter. Had to call out many times. Frequent patrons know where to find the kiosk & order from it. Manager? came out, took my order, made it. Sips: Double Matcha Coffee (reg. 7.50) less ice, 50% sugar. -ice was still nearly filled to top, drink tasted too sweet. Matcha not tastable. Coffee maybe faint. I was so excited to get the Double Matcha, and was a little disappointed to get this. The girl who took my order was very nice and made the drink really fast. So so happy to see a Teaspoon near home! This was my favorite boba spot in college and I'm happy to say that this location also hits all my boba cravings! The house milk tea has the right amount of the tea to milk ratio. It can be pretty sweet as is so I recommend the lowest sugar level they offer. You order through a kiosk so there's no interaction with staff until you pick up your order. Perfect for us introverts!! I'm so happy that this place is close to me now! When I heard they were opening a teaspoon in Livermore I was so excited because it's my favorite. I love the grasshopper, it's so light and refreshing I've never found a drink like this anywhere else. Their boba is always made fresh and soft. They're pretty fast at making the drinks and the girls working are always friendly too. This location is new to downtown Livermore. It's nestled between Bankhead theater and the movie theater. The place is shiny and new! It looked very clean. You have the option to order with someone or by using the kiosk. I ordered with the person at the front..she was nice but I can tell she was new, totally understandable. I asked her a few questions because I wasn't sure how I should get my drink. I ordered a 50% sweetness creamy jasmine tea with popping boba. I didn't think it was great but I didn't want to make the girl make another, that is an option you know? There's a little sign that says they'll make your order to your liking so I'm assuming I could have let her know but I didn't want to make a fuss. Now I know I need to up the sweetness a bit. Grand Opening event at Teaspoon so it was an event not to be missed with a great incentive. Not only do you get a Free large Boba drink of your choosing from the Boba selection card, but you also get a $10 tumbler as a gift. A win-win situation, but arriving early & having a lot of patience was the only requirement. After 3 hours of waiting & being the 63rd person in line, I was able to get my Grasshopper Boba. It was the perfect choice for me since I'm lactose intolerant. The Grasshopper consists of Lychee juice, & fresh cucumber juice that really lingers in your mouth. The boba was so fresh it was still warm in my cup. It was definitely a fun experience & having all the raffle incentives made the wait a little more bearable. read more

I came here with my brother last week when they had their BOGO deal. This is located in downtown Livermore so there's limited street parking. There is a parking garage right across the street, so we parked there. I ordered the Taro Lover, and I really enjoyed it. You can't adjust the sweetness for this drink, but the sweetness was just right for me. It's not overly sweet. My brother got the Ladybug, and he liked it. He got less sweet and it was just right for him. The staff was nice, and service was quick. Ambiance is casual, new, and modern. read more

Teaspoon is super refreshing on the hot Livermore days. I came in here in a Sunday afternoon, and I picked up a Grasshopper. It gave me the energy boost I need and made me cool down as well. There are plenty of drinks that could satisfy all of my cravings, so I will be sure to come back and try them all. I love the vibes here at this Livermore location. The staff is very hospitable and welcoming. They offer to tweak your drinks to your liking by adding in more sweeteners or remaking it if it's too sweet. This is their newer and more modern looking location, at least compared to their other locations I had been to across the Bay Area. The surrounding area was nice to take some photos and walk around, while enjoying my boba. There was one employee working during my visit and it was Abby - she was friendly and helpful - bumped up to 4 stars just for how accommodating she was. I ordered their Creamy Jasmine with boba, grass jelly, and rainbow jelly. The drink was pretty creamy with a subtle tea taste to it. The toppings were great additions to it as well. I wished I remembered to bring my glass bottle from Teaspoon that I received from one of their other locations during my visit. Overall, drinks are 3/3.5 stars, but service alone bumps it up to 4. read more

It was more likely that it was sweet and tasted tropical with the prominent taste of guava, which is a tropical fruit known for its unique blend of sweetness and slight tartness. I did the order ahead on the app and when I got there the drink was already ready for me, even though I showed up early. There's nearby parking lots you can park in and some seating nearby too! Folks, it's not a location curse. CREAM was bad, but Teaspoon is just unacceptable. We ordered 3 items (I'm not going to bother looking up the formal names): the mango smoothie, milk tea (no boba, no ice so I can drink it the next day), and the brown sugar milk tea. Brown sugar - this was the LEAST worst. Any syrup that went directly through the straw was disgusting. It didn't taste acceptable until 3/4 through, once the brown sugar syrup dissolved with the tea. I finished it, but honestly have had better. Mango - my daughter has a sweet tooth, and thought this drink was way too sweet. She normally finishes every smoothie I buy her; she didn't finish this one. Milk Tea - how do you mess up milk tea? Really. Like cheese pizza, you would have to TRY to make it bad for it to be bad. So I bought this with no ice and no boba. I wanted to drink it the next day (today). This drink tasted like chemicals. No sweetness at all. It was extremely watery despite having no water in it. I dumped it after drinking 1/4. Look, I am a Livermore native. I love livermore. I don't want to see businesses go down here. There are too many boba alternatives in our city and I don't think Teaspoon is going to last any longer than CREAM did, despite being in a great location. Teazen Tea, Li Cha Team, Boba & More, Fat Straw.. there's a lot of competition. There's not a whole lot on Teaspoon's menu so I'm not sure I'd want return to try something else. Mediocre and watered down milk tea. Ordered the house milk tea with regular ice but when I was handed my drink, there was no ice at all. I let the staff know and they said the ice must've melted while they were making the drink. Not sure how that happens but I was like okay... They offered to put more ice but I mentioned how I didn't want the drink to be watery since the previous ice melted. The staff tried to tell me it wouldn't be watery and just poured out some of the drink to top it off with more ice. But of course when i tried my drink at home, it was straight water... I really wanted to like this place since I've enjoyed other teaspoon locations but after this experience, I doubt I'll come back. Matcha is always one of my favorites and I was especially interested because the matcha was described as ceremonial. - This drink actually had a very strong and nice matcha flavor and the texture of the tapioca/boba was very soft and flavorful as well which I enjoyed. - Only con I can think of is even tho I got 50% sweetness it was still pretty sweet so I might even get a lower percentage next time. Experienced the worst customer service here this afternoon. There was a family in front of me on the kiosk that were taking forever to place their order, and I was standing there for about five minutes when another family walked in and got behind me in line. The girl behind the counter saw me standing there the entire time waiting to place an order, and instead of helping me first, she took the order of the family who walked in after me. I am one person, and I just wanted to grab something before I had to run to work. I felt invisible, so I walked out empty handed. It was so cute--I felt like I was in a Parisian cafe with the macarons and the little tables facing the windows. The workers were so helpful and nice, there were free samples :D, the place was clean and smelled so good, and most importantly, my drink was delicious! I went to the grand opening on Saturday, November 18th. I was number 102 in line. They opened at noon. I finally got my drinks at 3, which means I waited three hours for 101 purchases in front of me. There were 8 people working behind the counter. I feel like there needs to be some more training involved. I ordered 4 drinks: a matcha cream, a caramel cream, and two lychee on lychee drinks. The matcha cream was alright, but it was very sweet. The caramel cream was the most normal of the group (it was average). The tea in the lychee on lychee was just bitter and watery at the same time. I would want to like this place, but I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. The location is very good though, and if some changes are made I feel like they can turn it around. read more

I've been going to Teaspoon for years and my favorite boba chain, and was really excited to see a location open in Livermore. I ordered my go-to which is the Mango Funtime with boba and it tasted as good as other locations. One of our party changed her mind about the amount of ice she wanted after we were already given the drinks, and the staff offered to remake the drink and were super accommodating and friendly. The store was also clean and new. I've had a few issues with other boba shops (e.g. T2 suddenly changing from non dairy to dairy creamer without providing a notice) and I'm planning to make Teaspoon my regular. read more

Ladybug passion fruit was delicious as well. They make all the fruit flavors from real fruit and purées. No fake syrups here. We will be back for sure.
