Like most Peet's, this one got a few small tables inside as well as outside. I have been here many times and service is always superior. Nice and friendly staff. I saw the new item on menu- ice vanilla latte with popping boba. I ordered it for the first time to try and immediately found quite a disappointment. The taste of this drink is really weird because the coffee is very bitter and then the popping boba was super sweet. So bitter and sweet in one sip. I didn't like it and I let 3 of my family members tried it and they didn't like it either. I would not suggest popping boba drinks here. I am very interested to try the new Fall coffee. Peet's pumpkin spice drinks, chai, and matcha drinks are my favorites. read more

My new favorite place to stop by for matcha lattes, as the baristas are professionals and much more consistent than other coffee shops in the area. Service is friendly and quick, they remember how to pronounce my name correctly, and the restaurant is clean, with solid outdoor seating. It took me a very long time to find this location. I've gone to us affair, and I wanted a hot chocolate before going home. Unfortunately, this place is hard to find. It was in Hopyard Village. However, there weren't signs pointing to it or anything, and I actually found it when I was on my way out of the parking lot. But that's not the problem. The problem is that I was ignored from the time I walked in there until I left. The woman was at the front was helping two people and that was fine. She was very chatty. I had no problem with that. Clearly I was searching to look for a snack and they didn't have any but I was going to get in line for my chocolate, and there were only two people in front of me and as you can see for my pictures, there was no one in the store other than the three of us. Not did she say hello or did she acknowledge my existence. She didn't say that she would be with me soon or to wait patiently or anything like that. And then a friend of the couple who were came in and walked up them and the cashier served him immediately and didn't say oh would you like something or ma'am or first or anything like that. So I left. I decided I did not want to work that hard for a hot chocolate And I don't know what they need to do because it was an empty place. They had plenty of employees and someone should've said something. I'm basing this not on being treated special, but on how I'm treated in every other Pete that I've ever walked into. It was jarring because this is the first time I wasn't even greeted upon walking in and when I waited, no one said anything. That was just rude and I just didn't want them making my food so I left but I didn't want you to see the emptiness of the place because it wasn't full so there wasn't really an excuse. read more

They say that people make the place. That is true in this case! The shift managers keep the flow in the shop and are happy to chit-chat before and after getting your order together. Admittedly, I frequent this establishment a lot. You might call me a frequent coffee drinker. My point count is high, but my order is pretty simple: straight-up hot or cold coffee with an occasional sandwich. Given the numerous times I've ordered and visited this establishment, I've had my fair share of experiences. I just wanted to start out by saying that this has been my coffee house for over 20 years. This specific location as well and I can't get over the fact that they're still using paper straws. Even the Peet's on Main Street still using them but other than that? No other coffee house uses paper. No other business that sells food and drink is using them. Everywhere is plastic straws. Wow, compared with the Livermore Peet's, this Pleasanton location is so much more efficient! This location is well-staffed and you receive your coffee order in such a reasonable timeframe. I barely finished ordering and my iced latte was ready! In downtown Livermore, I'm used to waiting 10+ minutes for my order. The interior of the store was bright and airy with plenty of seating - both indoor and outdoor. I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in the area. read more

The parking was pretty tricky as this is a very busy plaza in that particular section plus the in and out of where cars pull in is also a bit complicated. The ambience was pleasant. There was plenty of seating but I wish there was a little bit more in the patio, but overall a great place to catch up with a friend which is what I did while I was there. My Matcha green tea drink was just as good as I remembered from other past Peets. glad we have this in Pleasanton. read more

They have real mugs!!! You have to ask for it though. Sadly, it's not the norm yet. So sit down, relax, enjoy your drink in a real mug (I promise it will taste better too), and then go on about your day knowing that you didn't add any trash to the planet. Food: I mainly Door Dash or do to-go orders and oftentimes I am sent the wrong item, and stuck paying for something I didn't order. Drinks: Every single time I order a mocha it should automatically come with whipped cream, it's saved as a customization for the drink, same with "no foam", but every single time I Door Dash Peets it doesn't come as it was ordered. I now call to double check when I place a to-go order. This used to always be a 5/5, better than SB for me, and if you go in person, Iced Mochas and hot mochas always come with whip, but for whatever reason, every time we DD any drinks of any type or food, we have items missing, or drinks not made correctly. read more

I like getting my coffee at this location. It's usually not busy and I get my order pretty quick. Hardly any wait time. There's some patio seating on either side with umbrellas for shade. Few tables inside as well. Nice quiet place to get some work done while sipping your cuppa coffee. Their sandwiches are pretty good for a quick bite. Love their Mighty Leaf teas. Love Peets Coffee! I used to drive to Berkeley for my Peets Beans before we had it in the East Bay! However I couldn't sleep last night. I think I may not have gotten the decaf coffee that I ordered yesterday afternoon. This is a reminder to make the coffee that was ordered by your customer. Beware ordering anything for your children here because the hot cocoa is filled with sugar. Used to love Peets, however it has become corporate now. Two weeks ago, when purchasing a kids hot cocoa I was told they only used pure Dutch cocoa. Today when I tried to reorder and requested no syrup same as last time, I was told all cocoa contains sugar. America's children are over exposed to sugar and it's a health crisis. I had the weirdest experience at this peets today I have to write a review. First, I went up to order and the cashier looked the other way. I was the only one in line so it was a little rude. Then he said good morning and I proceeded to order. He had trouble entering in my order, so I repeated it. In the end he put it in completely wrong. Instead of a medium latte with oat milk I got charged for a medium latte with a side of steamed oat milk. Wrong order, and over charged for my drink, and I was unable to drink it because it was made with whole milk instead of oat milk. Friendly staff and medium amount of seats. When weather is good you can sit outside. Parking is so-so. It's in a weird shaped plaza and you'll most likely have to park away from the cafe but the plaza is small so it's a short walk. Placed a mobile online order and arrived within the specified time frame. While we were waiting, our order status changes to "order completed" but all we see is the "barista" talking with her colleague still preparing other orders. 10+ minutes go by and we're still waiting. We see other customers placing in-person orders and receive their items before those of us still waiting. By the time our order comes up and we take our sips, we discover our drinks are luke warm at best and watery as if they used nonfat milk instead of the whole milk we requested. I make better quality espresso drinks from my own small home espresso machine. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't lie about completing the orders on time. It's obvious all they care about is how they appear to be making their orders on time to corporate headquarters. read more

Oh, as I learn the area, I find a Peet's or two. It's rare that I go anywhere else, although I have a few alternatives around the SF Bay Area. Heading toward the Central Valley, it seems that there is only one very big alternative, and I don't care for their products. Thankfully, the White Chocolate Mocha is quite good and I appreciate that it is available across Peet's stores, and some of those at Raley's/Belair/Nob Hill. This store is close to the mall in a small shopping center that lacked a lot of parking. The shop was full and there was only one (20 minute) parking spot. I was between my meal and going to the mall, so it wasn't a problem. The staff was friendly and while i waited, they kept busy, with a third person organizing the outdoor furniture for the night. There was a minor glitch with my drink, and I never would have known except that the drink maker explained it to me, and it wasn't significant to the taste. read more

I am not Peets person nor I can drink Peets coffee (too strong!) but I like to meet my friends at this location to chat or even schedule small group meetings. Staff is very friendly, atmosphere is simply great! Besides coffee they have good tea selection and, of course, pastry/sweets too! I see many people come here to read a book, magazine or work on their laptops while sipping their favorite beverage. Definitely a great place to do so, especially on a rainy day. But now that I've been to Peet's a few times now and talked to their very knowledgeable and friendly baristas, I've found a few things non-coffee drinkers like me can have. Yesterday the barista said I could make the white chocolate latte half decaff and that defiantly worked (no headaches! YAY!) I think this was a very smart location for Peet's. It's between 2 Starbucks that aren't really close to each other and is the only coffee place to offer many comfy chairs and tables for people to sit back and relax and share good conversation. read more
