Thank you Oktay and team for giving me a good experience with reliable customer services! I'm using Yelp Assistant due to my tech issue and Oktay reach out to me. I saw the bad review on Yelp but they having great review on Google and couple branches all over SD. I give it a try and they give me TOP, QUICK, and GOOD QUALITY of services. I drop my phone and been repair on other store but they give me low quality screen and charge me for services 10X more than the screen even Oktay was shocked how bad the quality of my screen BUT with decent prices and giving me A GOOD QUALITY of NEW screen with good communication and explanation I totally satisfied and worth driving 20 min away. I'm glad I found this places and will recommend to friends and family as well. It's super quick less than 30 minutes or not even. Store was organized, clean on second floor of Escondido Mall. You can hang out and having a good time at Mall as well. I wonder why they got low rate on Yelps and found out it's from old management while Oktay took over with his professionalism and new management under his team I wish he got more recognition for his works. I am extremely grateful for Oktay! He is an honest man running a great business. I went to the apple store for a consultation because my lap top screen was not working. They took my computer to the back and after 30 mins the engineers comes out and says that I would need a complete new screen which would cost $800 plus tax and it would take 3-5 business days. The worse thing was that they were trying to push me to buy a new computer instead because mine was "vintage" and not worth investing in it. I spent $3500 on that laptop, it wasn't even old, and they wanted me to just give it up. Insane! I called a few other spots and they told me the same thing. As I was walking out the mall, I noticed the Tech Defense store and went to ask if he could help me. I explained my situation, I told him my screen went out and I needed my laptop to study for an exam. With a big smile on his face, Oktay said, "its probably not the screen, it might just be the cables that connect to the screen." HE WAS RIGHT! It took him 5 minutes, 5 minutes! He charged me 1/8th of the price Apple wanted, and he had it ready for me the next day. Thank you Oktay! I am extremely grateful, you seriously saved me! You will forever have my business! Absolute crooks! Paid over $200 for a cracked screen replacement and in less than 12 hours my screen went dark. They would not fix it unless I paid them more money, and said it was an internal problem, not a screen problem. Took the phone to another repair store and replaced the faulty screen and now phone works perfectly. These people are UNETHICAL and WILL NOT stand by their work. They tried blaming me for the screen not working even though the 2nd repair shop I took the phone to said it was a faulty screen. Unfortunately it took over $200 for me to learn this. Tech Defense is the place to go to. The main guy running the place knows his stuff. He has replaced back glass, front displays, and fixed FaceTime on my apple Iphone 8, 10, and 12. This guy knows how to work on just about anything, including video game consoles. Highly recommend, Incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and very affordable. More people need to go to him. He was even willing to fix my Iphone 12 with parts I brought in. However his price was better than Amazon replacement parts. read more

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at Tech Defense. I went there three times to fix my phone screen, and each time the screen came off shortly afterward. The workers had the audacity to blame it on heat and humidity, despite my phone not being exposed to those conditions. It's clear they have no clue what they're doing. Our refrigerator went out. A replacement control board is no longer available from the manufacturer. We took the control board to Tech Defense. They found the problem replaced some components. We reinstalled the control board on our refrigerator and everything is working well. Price for the repair is reasonable and a quick turnaround. Saved us from buying a new refrigerator. read more

Excellent service and communication. I texted back and forth with Oktay and then mailed my circuit board out to him from Maui. He was able to diagnose and repair the board.
