Even though I pointed out that my neighbor was paying half what they were charging me (also Astound, same speed) and xfinity would charge me 1/3. "We may charge different customers different amounts." "We don't price match." I didn't want to switch, and it was utterly frustrating that they would do this to a long term customer. It was like I had a note in my file, 'stick it to this guy.' Or maybe they just stick it to everyone dumb enough to stay with them. Of course when I called to cancel they said, "Can we offer you a better price?" Makes my blood boil.

It is now slower than it ever has been, freezes up all the time. Can't even sit through a 22 minute TV show without lagging or stopping. This is pathetic and unacceptable in the year 2026. If you can, look elsewhere and use anyone else but Astound! We sent them another email and phone call to get ahold of someone to come back to our house to fix yet another problem they made happen. So far, no such luck. They're value is nothing and they are most incompetent. So again they may seem good, but they're awful. They don't have any places located near us and have to come from far away, so I imagine their tech guys are very limited to when they can come. Another example of why big companies shouldn't be able to buy up the little ones like WOW, which was actually a good cable company that we had no problems at all with. Like every other company, there customer service seems to be a thing of the past. We will be switching to a different company as soon as possible and never looking back. Fuck Astound.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding. Ricky, our sales representative, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to explain all the phone options, helped us find the best service deal, and made sure we understood everything before making the switch. He made the whole process smooth and stress free. The store manager, Rashid, was also fantastic. He stepped in to help us finalize the purchase and made sure we were getting the best value for our new phones and plan. His professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out. Overall, both Ricky and Rashid went above and beyond. If you're thinking about switching carriers or upgrading your phone, I highly recommend visiting this Verizon location in Addison, IL. Excellent service, great deals, and a team that truly cares about their customers.

It's a big store attached to a new mini strip mall near Walmart. It's right off the main roads (Rt…read more53 and Lake St). Their agents are OK, nothing really stand out of their Customer Service. The choices of phones and tablets are comparable to other carriers. They state all stores can serve you if you have any technical issues. My husband/Mom opened up a business account with them. Their agent that was working with them seemed like a newbie..didn't care much of him. If you open up a business account, it's best to call ahead of time and a rep will be at that store time/date and they will take better care of you. I'd only come back here because of location and it's a bigger/newer looking store. They need to up their customer service attitude. Smile more, money is coming into the door man...start sucking up!

After scanning the barcode on the equipment, they check the account and then print you a receipt as proof of the returns. The representative was also able to update the account with a new plan. If you're on a contract, they charge $10/mo that is left on the contract if you want to end it prematurely. I came by twice in the last week and was helped right away. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received today. I spent more than…read morethree hours on the phone and was transferred back and forth between approximately eight different agents, repeatedly having to explain the same simple issue regarding adding a new promotion to my account. It appeared that the representatives either were not reading the account notes or were not properly documenting the issue for the next agent. Eventually, I was transferred to a manager who was rude and unprofessional. When I asked to disconnect the service because of the unprofessional attitude I received, instead of properly addressing the situation, he transferred me to a department that was already closed, causing the call to disconnect entirely. Additionally, every representative I spoke with asked for a callback number in case the call disconnected, yet after the connection was lost, nobody called me back. I have been a customer for almost seven years and previously considered this a good company. Unfortunately, the quality of customer service has significantly declined. This was the first time I have experienced such horrible customer service. The level of disorganization and lack of communication between representatives made the entire process feel chaotic and unprofessional. This experience was exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. After this experience, I no longer wish to have any connection with this company.
