After scanning the barcode on the equipment, they check the account and then print you a receipt as proof of the returns. The representative was also able to update the account with a new plan. If you're on a contract, they charge $10/mo that is left on the contract if you want to end it prematurely. I came by twice in the last week and was helped right away. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received today. I spent more than three hours on the phone and was transferred back and forth between approximately eight different agents, repeatedly having to explain the same simple issue regarding adding a new promotion to my account. It appeared that the representatives either were not reading the account notes or were not properly documenting the issue for the next agent. Eventually, I was transferred to a manager who was rude and unprofessional. When I asked to disconnect the service because of the unprofessional attitude I received, instead of properly addressing the situation, he transferred me to a department that was already closed, causing the call to disconnect entirely. Additionally, every representative I spoke with asked for a callback number in case the call disconnected, yet after the connection was lost, nobody called me back. I have been a customer for almost seven years and previously considered this a good company. Unfortunately, the quality of customer service has significantly declined. This was the first time I have experienced such horrible customer service. The level of disorganization and lack of communication between representatives made the entire process feel chaotic and unprofessional. This experience was exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. After this experience, I no longer wish to have any connection with this company. read more

Have you ever been visited the doctor office and sitting in the waiting room to wait for your turn to see the doctor? How long does it take you for that appointment? 30 - 45 minutes or longer? I went to this store to dropped off old modem and cable box. It took me 52 minutes to see the representative and got the receipt. However, I felt sorry for many people whose were waiting as long as I was to get service. I wish Xfinity would have someone who delegates to handle drop off old equipments so that many of customers would not have to wait for almost an hour to drop off their old equipments. read more

Xfinity overall is great and their network. This location in particular is absolute DOG WATER. their customer service is awful. I came in today to Trade in my iPhone and upgrade. I asked the guy behind the counter if he had any in stock before I sat down and waited to be helped. (I don't mind waiting) He says "I'm not sure, I can check" so I sat down. Brother I was not gonna wait all day for him to check if he had them. In stock. I just needed a yes or no. But he just stood there for the next 10 minutes. I traded in my iPhone 15 for the 17 in September in anticipation of traveling to Australia for 3 months. Because it is on promotion, the phone can't be paid off and therefore carrier locked. You cannot use an eSIM for another country because they will not unlock it. I TOLD THIS TO THE GUY DOING MY SWAP, he never said a word. Then they messed up the actual trade in, and I had to go in 3 more times to rectify the situation. Finally got a UPS label to send back the 15 phone I traded in. My sister wasn't so lucky. They gave her a USPS label and when she mailed hers, it was stolen by USPS and Xfinity said "you have to file a claim with them, nothing we can do". I will be transferring to AT&T as soon as my 4th device payment is up. The people at this store do not care about anything but getting a sale - and will not help you once you have gotten a new phone...Stay away from Xfinity and this location specifically. I drove to the Bloomingdale's center and I was explained that my contract was up and that is why my bill had gone up In price so I had to renew the co tract to keep it the same. I have been a +30 year customer of Comcast. I dealt with Eric at this location for a new cell phone. it seemed he was not customer focused. I feel he would benefit from getting some customer service training. He did not smile! He was very short with us, would not help with our apps and then checked us out wrong. We had to correct the transaction and had another sales associate assist with putting on the screen protector. I called Comcast this past Friday to haggle them over my rates that had just recently increased. Part of the new package was a SmartCast box. I told the Rep that I did not need a box, and had a functioning smart TV. I also have two toddlers, and have no need for any extra clutter or things on my shelf. I asked that he not send the box. He laughed a little bit, said he made note, and would not send a box. Come Monday, I had a Smart Box on my doorstep. Two other calls to Comcast later, I was incorrectly told that they could send me a prepaid shipping label and I could schedule delivery pickup. Instead, I had to physically schlep out to the store on my one day off sans kids to return the thing I didn't want/told them I didn't want in the first place. Obnoxious. Annoying. read more

I received my new bill and found it went from $55.00 too $75.00. I have basic internet with 200 mps speed. I immediately went on the site to see if I could get some answers as far as a 26% increase. No live agents were available so they sent me a text link. Went on the link and a strange name came on and we started the text. I was on the text link for 1.5 hours and half of that time there wasn't any back and forth. The system also automatically tells you the time is up so I typed in hello and the agent came back on. He finally came back and said my promo had ended and there wasn't anything he could do but offer me more speed at about $70.00. The 200 mps was fine but he said he would try again. At the end of the 1.5 hours and no further progress, I asked if a live person could call me back. He said he would have someone call me back in about 1/2 hour. An hour went by and I started the whole process again. Again, strange name, and same responses. About an hour later, and yes shame on me for not bailing, I again asked to have a supervisor call me. He said within 20 minutes. Guess what, I watched my phone till 11PM and no call back. I made an apppointment and went in to the Xfinity store. Explained to Mike the rep who explained to me about the promo. I finally realized that unless I wanted to change providers they had me by the (*****). I left there with the increased speed at $70. all in. So I spend at least 4 hours texting and calling and then 40 minutes driving to store, and then 1/2 hour in store to save $5.00. Good Luck if you need any help from this company. The automated system is frustrating and is not efficient in getting to an agent. A refund was needed and repeat promises were made but never kept. The initial refund was to be made within 30 days. We are now 4 phone calls and 2 months out with more promises and no refund. A different story is given with each call and promises made but not followed up on. I'm sure that if they had to collect money from the customer they could be m efficient, accurate and timely. read more

Where to start. Feb 4, 2020 spoke with Sunny about the fact that I was being charged for services not yet rendered. I was given a year free Stars and Showtime when we signed up of comcast/xfinity..................yet I only received 11 months of free service. I was charged for the 12th month. Sunny agreed and told me my Feb 26, 2020 autopay would be 97.11. Again, I was given a full year of free Stars and Showtime, yet only received 11months before being charged. Fast forward to Feb 18,2020 when I checked my bill again and discovered my bill was still 117.71. After chatting through the app with Sherill and her supervisor Michael I was assure my bill was immediately changed to 95.47. Yet when I checked the next day I discovered my bill was never changed. I called and spoke with Fred (Flintstone)who then told me that he could change my bill for the current month just like Sunny said she could weeks before. Fred said he was transferring me to his supervisor. I ended up with Laura................yeah................not a supervisor. Lied to again. At least Laura Walker went beyond the usual nonsense and sent me an email that my auto pay would be the correct ammount of 95.47 on 2/26/2020. Sunny, then Sherill, and the supervisor Michael, followed by Fred all lied to me. They all promised changes that NEVER actually happened. every last person promised something different. I have yet to learn until my autopay goes thru if Laura Walker lied to me as well. My guess will be that regardless of the email she sent me.............my bill will still be incorrect. Thats just what comcast/xfinity does. This is the nonsense that xnfinity customers live with everyday. Get lied to over and over on level after level. If comcast/xfinity spent half the money they spend trolling for new customers on current existing customers.............they could save a whole lot of money. I will be sending out yet again another mass email to the various comcast upper level executives yet again. Last time I did this, the upper level executives admitted that.........yes the employee ran my credit without authorizaton. Its shocking how fast problems can get fixed when you draw the top executives into the issue. Hey top level executives..............I was given 12 months/ one year free Stars and Showtime. Staff was not customer friendly, we were 1 of 4 people receiving new modems; first they were rude and not able to find the account. We finally got the package gave us a list of instructions how to set it up and sent us home. After testing the equipment at home and getting on the phone with customer service, we came to find out that the store forgot to scan the new mode to activate it. Now we have to make another trip to the store because the staff did not know or did not care about following instructions to help customers get the equipment set up. What a waste of time! read more

It is hit or miss at this location. The staff doesn't seem to want to focus on your issues, rather it seems they want to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I've gone to this location a couple times with the same results ... no friendly greeting and it seems no appreciation for the customers who pay their salaries. Maybe they don't smile because they hate their job, who knows? If the customer service reps on the phone were more knowledgeable (and it is a real adventure even trying to talk to someone), I would not go to a store, but I have no choice. I rarely write a review, but felt it necessary to comment on the excellent service I received at this location. I am a senior and finding it more difficult to afford cable service. All my children have given theirs up and have encouraged me to do so, but I really preferred keeping cable. Alan was the consultant assigned to me and I can't begin to thank him enough for his patient help. He spent a lot of time with me to find the best plan for my needs, and I not only got more of what I wanted but lowered the cost by ridding my plan of never watched programs. Not only that, my phone was really old and outdated and Alan got me on a better plan and newer phone for less than I was paying my prior company. Brad then helped me with the transference of data from my old phone to the new one, explaining the nuances of the new as compared to the old. Both Alan and Brad are tops in my book. Got home and the BRAND NEW Iphone didnt work . I called tech support and store was closed.
