She will always be my favorite because I love free therapy I get with the wax. I have also gotten waxed by Maya. I love her so much, absolutely phenomenal. Maya recently waxed my bff and now this woman is driving 30 miles from where she lives just to see Maya. Jane I follow on social media because she is funny, real, and a bad ass girl boss! BUT PLEASE NOTE- big reason I needed to write this review is because of the amazing products they carry and sell (with out pushing it onto you!) I am a gullible sucker who buys stuff that experts in their field offer and I constantly get disappointed. Not at this place!!! The ingrown hair serum charged my life! What I like the most is that they are very punctual. In addition, I usually go here for a waxing session and being someone who is sensitive to pain, it definitely hurts a lot less than you expect it too. Never everrrr going back to European wax center. I went in for my first session today and instantly is committed to this place. First impression when walking in is that the ambiance of the place is very comforting and welcoming. Pai was the esthetician that took care of me and she was sooo nice and friendly. This place is a no-nonsense place! Their website will direct you to online booking, and I find their sense of humor hilarious. Props to whoever did that, because the sarcasm, but utmost professionalism is sometimes something we need. After feeling a little better about actually going to places late 2021 since the Pandemic Era, I found my way here after shaving was giving me anxiety to get cut down there. :dramatic sigh: Okay, I lied, I actually used the same clippers that I use on my dog. It was my first time, so I just scheduled whatever appointment I had first. Mai was my lady and she was sweet, professional, and efficient. I had underarms, lip, and Brazilian done, and I was out in less than 20 minutes as the first appointment of the day. She was able to drive the conversation normally so that it didn't feel too awkward. All of my hair wasn't able to get out, because of the clippers made it grow off, but it was a lot better than before and I'll be back in 4 weeks. Also, don't be worried that the front door is locked. I was so shy that I didn't knock hard, but they really only open it at about 10:00 am. Haha. I thought I was at the wrong place, even though it clearly said Ted D Bare on the door. It wasn't my first time getting a brazilian, but anytime I feel like it will get easier, it really doesn't. It's still hella painful. Cash Only! No tips, which I felt awkward about.
