I've been going here for two years now and I won't go anywhere else. Firstly, the interior is cute, cozy, and definitely soothing if you're worried about your weak a** pain tolerance. They have a vending machine with exfoliating towels, ingrown hair serums, etc. The exfoliating towels are life changing and have helped with the appearance of my pores on my legs, and my ingrowns. I use the 50 grit because I have tough skin and I'm not a b****. Tampons on deck. More about the service, I've been waxed by every esthetician at Ted D Bare and they are all so down to Earth. Very knowledgeable about their wax, supplies, prep, aftercare, additional services. Pai, in particular, is that gurrrrrrl. Now to preface I do not advise this, but I came in for a Brazilian after shaving a week and a half ago. My hair was short, but I also have very thick/coarse hair. I was desperate for a wax. I always stab myself in the leg after I shave in between appointments ‍. I told Pai to try her best and that I KNEW it would not come out perfect and she was skeptical of a good result as well. I was referred to this place by multiple people before and I finally decided to try them out because I just couldn't take another month without a wax. The prices are standard, and the place is clean! My appointment was with Jane, and she just had the best conversation ever. I was literally laughing the entire time I was on that table and forgot why I was even there at some points lol. When you're in pain, the laughs truly get you through it! And the best part is, she was so quick, I was in and out in less time than I drove there! I have been a patreon of Ted D bare for years now. I've always loved how quickly they can get a Brazilian done but my bad review is for my last experience. I was late for my appointment, actually walked in at the same time as another customer who was also late (staff let us both know we were late) I was told that if another client was late then they can take me in. I asked if I should come back later then, the waxer let me know it shouldn't be long. I waited close to two hours and was not taken back or told they were booked and I should come back another time. There was another waxer there that saw how long I had been waiting and let me know she would try to squeeze me in. The other customer that walked in late with me was able to be taken back and waxed by the nicer waxer that offered to squeeze me in even though she was also late. I understand a late policy with businesses that book so tight but I have been taken in late previously when I've arrived on time due to their scheduling. If I've been accommodating to them being late to wax me I should receive the same treatment back. Their communication needs to get better with clients so we're not waiting 2 hours to not even be seen when we were less than 10 minutes late to the appointment. read more

She seemed to be interested in my life and our conversations didn't end up being very superficial and bland which was great! - Talked about the ingrown hair serum but only because she thought it might be something I would be interested in. It didn't feel like she was pushing a product on me at all and never brought it back up. - Even though I'm not new to waxing, she made sure to talk about post-wax care and all of that which was very nice. - When I left, I felt like I gained a new friend and could trust Rika with my life. Studio: Very Clean and professional. She wore a mask and wiped everything down. Booking: Easy, I was able to book an appointment 2 days ahead via the website and there was a lot of availability to choose from. Pricing: Credit card deposit when making the appointment and cash only to pay off the rest, but no tips which is a plus. The wax: There's a bit of pain, but I would say it's as minimal as waxing could be. Definitely the least painful I've ever had. It was the quickest too. Location: Make sure you park in their complex. Literally the best place to get waxed. I've been to 2-3 other places for Brazilians and they are... 1) usually more expensive (this place has a no tip policy) 2) isn't as aesthetically pleasing 3) hurts like a $#% This still hurts, trust me. But a lot less because they're so fast that in a blink of an eye, you're out. I've gone to places that used hard wax and lemme tell ya, you'll still see it at the end of the day when you go home for a shower. TDB makes it easy, as painless as they can and the place is so cute.
